Recruitment

Currently, almost everything is done by me (Gaige). I’m always in need of help, and would be happy for anyone to help me out regardless of experience level!

There are a few different roles you can apply for!

Translator (TL): Very self-explanatory! You translate all the text that’s on a page into English. Must have some knowledge of the actual language and not fully rely on machine translation (eg Google Translate).

Proofreader (PR): A proofreader goes through the translated text and rewrites it so that it makes better sense in English or flows better. No experience required but English must be your native language. 

Cleaner/Redrawer (CL/RD): This person removes text from speech bubbles and redraws areas that are covered by the comic’s original text. No experience is required, but you must have Photoshop.

Typesetter (TS): This person adds the text onto the cleaned pages. Preferably some experience in this area because I don’t know enough about it to really teach it, but if you don’t have any that’s fine too! We can learn together, haha. Must have Photoshop or equivalent to apply. 

Raw provider (RP): A very simple job, I’ll provide you with a link to where you can find the raw comic and you’ll download them. You’ll then upload them to Google Drive. This role is very simple but is a bit tedious. You also must have a computer with Google Chrome installed.

Will you continue to translate it’s mine because I hate the paywall in WEBTOON. They in 60 or 50 ep and the dropping one every week and we are in the 9 ep

Sorry, but I won’t be! I don’t feel it would be right to take revenue away from the author when the work is basically already available for free online. And at the pace I translate, I would also barely be ahead of Webtoon’s current release schedule anyway :(

Fate/school life [English translation]

A comedy 4-koma manga revolving around the normal life at school of the minor characters of Fate/stay night and Fate/hollow ataraxia, specifically the character Himuro Kane, classmate of Fate/stay night protagonist Emiya Shirou.

It tells about the normal school life of the supporting characters Himuro Kane, Makidera Kaede and Saegusa Yukika. Other characters are the regular cast of the main games: Mitsuzuri Ayako, Tohsaka Rin, Ryuudou Issei, Matou Shinji, Emiya Shirou, Kuzuki Souichirou, Fujimura Taiga, Matou Sakura, Mitsuzuri Minori; "guest" characters from other series Ciel, Seven, Sajyou Ayaka (formerly the heroine of the never finished prototype novel of Fate/stay night) are also featured, and other classmates Gotou Gai, Fujimoto, Dezaki, Hirumata. The story is centered around classic school events such as a ball game tournament, field trips and inter high school competitions. As such, there is no reference at all to supernatural things like magecraft and Heroic Spirits.
