I'm curious if the MC and the band has magic why do they need a body guard? Don't get me wrong I like J, I'm just curious do they have a different type of magic?

Ah this is a very good question, I hope you don't mind if I use this ask to briefly discuss the public perception and understanding of magic before I fully answer your question.

Magic in this world is in a weird place, people know that scientist have found a way to harness the energy of a crowd to charge a specific type of crystal (Lumithyst's) that can be "plugged into" to in order to extract vast amounts of energy. The public believes that these crystals react simply in the presence of strong emotions and musical vibrations, they are half right.

The truth is that the crystals require people with magical abilities to actively channel the energy of the crowd into the crystals. This knowledge is one of the biggest kept secrets in the galaxy with only a fraction of humanity knowing the truth, and an even smaller fraction know about the invaders from the parallel dimensions. So having the MC or any other band member using magic publicly would be very bad.

This is where Juno/Jarek comes in, they know that you and the band are more than capable of protecting yourselves, but since you aren't allowed to they will.

hi!! i found your if plot really interesting but was wondering, you mentioned that if male or female there your character will have a different siblings, does that mean there’s no nonbinary option in game? it’s fine if not, but i just wanted to be clear

Hi thats a good question, at the moment I am working on but haven't fully commited to having an option for the MC to be nonbinary, I like the idea, but I would need to implement it in a way that feels equal to the male and female routes.

Essentially if I add a nonbinary route to the game I want to make it feel just as distinctive and unique as the other 2 routes. What I really want to avoid is just slapping a coat of paint over the female or male (though to be honest this one is still a work in progress) routes and calling it a day.

If anyone has any advice for adding a nonbinary route I would actually be so thankful.

Hi Sarah! KPop Demon Hunters is absolutely one of the inspirations behind this. I’ve been sitting on the concept for months, trying to figure out a fun music based power system, but hadn’t posted anything because, honestly, I wasn’t sure anyone would be interested. Then I watched the movie, was completely blown away, and seeing how well it was received gave me the confidence to finally make this official!

Juno/Jarek has been in charge of your bands security since your debut, they have a gruff personality and prefer to maintain a professional distance between themselves and the band. Despite knowing their job is solely for show they take it seriously always remaining vigilant.

N has been your bands pilot for the past year, since then caffeine consumption among the crew has increased drastically. They are obsessed with efficiency and convenience and so are always working on small customizations to your tour ship.

Every fans favorite ship, your 2 life long companions Orihime and Hikoshobi have and always will be constants in your life. They are your bands co-choreographers, lead dancers, and backup vocalists.

Orihime is the rock that holds the group together. With the poise of a seasoned diplomat and the soul of a frustrated cat herder. She’s always the one with tissues, backups, and crisis plans, but her responsible persona masks a secret fondness for the chaos she’s constantly reining in. Watching her lovingly bicker with Hikoboshi or gently scold Lyra with a smile is a fan-favorite dynamic.

If disaster had a hype man, it would be Hikoboshi. As co-choreographer and resident instigator, he’s the engine behind many of the band’s wildest decisions, from dance routines performed on hoverboards to spontaneous pranks during interviews. He’s charismatic, fearless, loyal, and always ready to stir the pot.

Hello and welcome to my new interactive game! First off thank you so much for taking the time to check out my game, I want to let you know that this is in very early concept I have no coding experience so I can't give any guess on how long the demo will take.

So why post now? Great question! Attention... yeah I won't lie or sugar coat it, having an audience who might be interested in my project is fun and a good motivator. But on the other side feedback is great for improving both my writing, and choice selection. Oh also I just watched KPop Demon hunters last night (amazing movie btw) and thought "Hey this concept is kind of similar to what I'm working on so why not try to capitalize on the hype?" - I'm totally a genius...

Whooo... I think that covers that eh? Now lets get on with the story!

Premise:

Galactic Idols is set in a world where humanity has spread into the galaxy, developing hundreds of worlds so very like but oh so different to earth. But how did humanity achieve this? Music, scientists have found a way to harness the magic of music to power machines that cut through the fabric of space to travel faster than light. And so idols became not only a source of entertainment but a source of clean energy for every world.

Not all is well in the galaxy however, unknown to the general population invaders from parallel realities invade your world. These beings are near invulnerable to most conventional weapons, only idols trained to wield the power of their music and fans can fight them. You are one such individual.

You were once a poor child living a life of petty crime in the slums of Dravon Prime a planet thousands of lightyears from Earth. The only constants in your life have been your sibling and your best friend, each of you alternating between pickpocketing, shoplifting and singing on the street corner for coins.

All that changed once they found you, Hyperbeat Entertainment, one of the biggest idol agencies in the galaxy. Suddenly your fates changed and now you tour the galaxy as a part of one of the biggest girl/boy bands in the galaxy. And in secret a hero in the dark, protecting your fans from the horrors across the veils.
