“You could’ve begged,” she’d said. “I still would’ve waited.”

What else was she meant to do, with her hands still remembering his, listening for him around the corner, her breath still catching in the pauses where he should have spoken, her eyes still looking for his, expecting to turn and find him already watching her?

She would have waited across ten lifetimes. Across a thousand oceans. Across the silence of prophecy and the noise of grief. She would have waited not because he was good, or kind, or hers—but because he promised her that he would find his way back to her, and it wasn’t a lie.

And he lies. He lies like breathing. But not then. Not about this.

So, she laid offerings at the mouth of every god who might return him. She let love wreck her like a storm—until her temples flooded, until her prayers were salt-heavy. And every time the world tried to push her forward, the thread in her hands lead her back to him.

And in the end, the man who returned to her was the storm—who no longer kneeled before gods, but struck the heavens until they split and let him pass. Who tied that thread to the rib beneath his heart so he could find the way back blind.

Who buried the sea to keep his word.

Regular misogyny is still misogyny when you direct it against transfems. When you accuse us of hysteria (or "screaming and crying" as you may circumlocutionarily put it) for expressing views you dislike, that's misogyny. When you explain aspects of our transfeminism that you find disagreeable (for example us taking issue with the claim that we are "seen as men") with us being too emotionally fragile and immature to face reality, that's misogyny. When you dismiss us as being too irrational and emotional to assess our own oppression objectively, that's misogyny. If you belittle, infantilize and condescend to transfeminists at every turn, if you cannot reckon with the fact that you have genuine ideological disagreements with transfeminists without resorting to misogynistic cliches to dismiss them, then you are a misogynist who considers transfems fair game for misogynizing (and you should correct that).

My imposter syndrome for diagnosed DID went away when my answer for "Oh God what if I'm faking what if I'm just so mentally ill and making it all up?" Became "If I think I'm plural I can just... Be plural. No prerequisites, no trauma needed. I can just be comfortable with what's going on in my head."

My Metis has blue markings on her body that glow in the water.

Athena doesn't have them on a daily basis, but after contact with wild water, glowing markings appear on her own body. Pallas used to like them a lot, but now Athena tries to avoid water so as not to show them. She considers them unnecessary and unsightly, and besides, what good warrior wears something that immediately gives away their position?

It's not like Zeus told her that ... on the way to Olympus when she still had her friend's blood on her hands. Not at all. This hypocrite loved them on Metis tho.

My guilty pleasure is literally simping for Greek gods, and reason why its a guilty pleasure is because my fiancé worships Greek gods, so it feels quite odd 💀 He doesnt mind it since I'm simping for a modern adaption that is technically fictional, but I still feel a little weird about it LMAO
