Coffee & Calculations - a fenro fanfic.

“I don’t like coffee.” Gyro declared as Fenton set a warm cup of coffee next to his blueprints on his desk. 

“Oh… well I thought you did.” Stammered Fenton adjusting his light purple tie. “It’s just, I see you drink coffee sometimes so…” 

“Fine…!” Gyro grumbled annoyed but reluctantly blew on the cup and drank a bit of the coffee. “Could’ve used more peppermint… but it’s… pretty good. Even though it’s decaf.” Gyro mumbled the compliment as he didn’t want to admit that it was delicious. Even through the angry remarks, Fenton noticed the calmer eyes when Gyro first took a sip. Fenton sighed and stroked his own hair in relief. 

“Thanks dr Gearloose!” Fenton blushed a bit and rushed out the room quickly when he remembered something important. 

“I wonder what that idiot rushed out so fast?” Gyro thought to himself as he drank more of the coffee. Then he heard a small thud as something fell on his foot. He saw a folded up note that he guessed came from the coffee. “Why couldn’t Fenton just tell me? What’s so special that it had to be written?” Gyro thought annoyed as he delicately opened the note. “Oh… oh?” He exclaimed as he saw a doodle and a science pun written in it that said: 

“Don't trust atoms, they make up everything.” 

“Classic Fenton…” gyro sighed as he put the note in his pocket and noticed he was smiling softly when he thought about Fenton.
