Another Spanish speaker said that there were some weird grammatical errors but we've boiled that down to the writers of the film not knowing the language. Since he speaks quite well if a little rusty.

So Conflicted

Got to preface this with the fact my dad had me watching boxing and MMA growing up. So I love seeing someone get pummeled. It is enjoyable. 😬

In my pursuit of research for making another Ryan Guzman post, I watched an interview he did for The Boy Next Door. He talked about his MMA past and that he had actually auditioned for Kingdom. That is the sports drama that starred Nick Jonas on the now defunct Audience Network. I swear no one watched it. The show was alright.

Well Ryan actually auditioned for Nick’s part! The casting director said he didn’t look like a fighter so he was passed over. Ryan said he wanted his agent to show his old footage in the octagon. Feels like the casting director was implying Ryan was too pretty and put together to PLAY a fighter. When you judge a book by its cover.

What is ironic about the role is that Nick played as a closeted mma fighter. So if Ryan had gotten role, that would have been another gay character he would have played. Again this shows that he has no problem playing non straight roles.

The reason that I am conflicted as the title says is because I enjoy seeing Nick act. It is what he started out with before becoming a musician. And he’s entertaining to watch normally. But Nate was so closed off and quiet. I feel that if Ryan played him, the character would have been more expressive and the scenes have more liveliness.

Campaign for Mads as Alex in Live Action Totally Spies

Will Ferrell and his production company Gloria Sanchez Productions is working with the Banijay Group to bring the French Canadian cartoon to live action. This was announced by Variety on 14 June 2024. As of right now there are no writers or any others attached at this stage.

As one Fantom posted on Twitter, Mads being in the show should happen. Let’s get Mads her next big role!

Short But Sweet

Watched Love You Anyway as soon as it came out for North Americans. It is only 1 hour and 20 minutes (including three or so minutes of credits). Charlie is amazing in it and shows greats highs and lows with his character, Reign Edwards, who plays the main character, does a beautiful and authentic portrayal of something that some of us really do deal with, There is one character I have no sympathy at all for. You MIGHT need tissues. Everyone, who is able to, should go watch our pup.

If you haven’t heard, now you have. Roe vs. Wade, the US Supreme Court ruling that made abortions legal in 1971, has been OVERTURNED by the Conservative majority Supreme Court. Now this allows STATES to decide if abortions are legal or not. This is a SERIOUS step back in women’s and human rights. Please be careful and KNOW your state’s laws on reproductive rights.

New Update

The director of Allie Mitchell Must Win followed Mads on Instagram recently. As well as the boys, Kenny, and Paul Becker. So it is possible that filming will be happening soon. If the boys are in the movie, I will be happy as hell.

Info on Madison’s New Movie

This is the woman who will be directing the movie that Madison is attached to. As you can see in the second screenshot, the movie is slated to start filming next summer as it is still in preproduction.

With the movie set to film next summer, that gives Madison time to finish school things, do Dream It Con, and film season 2 of Julie and the Phantoms either this fall or spring (I just have a feeling we are close on an announcement 🤞🏽). Madison is about to take over the world.
