I’m an American, and thus do not live in a country that is currently at war, so take my opinions with a grain of salt — but is it just me who finds jokes from Americans (and others in the Anglosphere) about preparing for WW3 to be so insensitive? Because while they’re joking about the onset WW3, there are so many people who are already, currently, at this very moment already at war?

Honestly, as a German I can not quite understand the obsession of the English speaking world with the question whether a word exists or not. If you have to express something for which there is no word, you have to make a new one, preferably by combining well-known words, and in the very same moment it starts to exist. Agree?

Ich präsentiere: mein neues Lesezeichen. Ergotherapie sei Dank, denn auf der Geschlossenen wäre ich sonst nicht an eine Schere gekommen. Oder einen Prittstift.

Verständlich, denn sobald ich in der Ergotherapie-Sitzung den Prittstift weiterreichte fing eine Mltpatientin an, Häkelgarn an die Tischplatte zu kleben. You go, girl. Der arme Ergotherapeut war eigentlich noch damit beschäftigt, einem anderen Patienten die Wachsmalstifte abzujagen, bevor der wiederum damit in Richtung Station entkommen konnte.

Der Künstler möchte mit dem toten Fisch sein eigenes Gefühl des Müffelns symbolisieren. Man hatte nämlich sein Deo konfisziert.
