What's Wrong?

Chapter five

Crystal's Pov:

On the way home Shadow was quiet and kept her eyes locked on the window. The only ones talking were Celeste Raven, and Miss. Flores said some words to us but it was just small talk.

"You guys get ready for bed, okay?" Mrs. Flores tells us as she pulls into the driveway. "Okay!" Celeste and Raven sing as they rush to open the door.

I look at Shadow who looks upset and ask, "Is something wrong?"

She looks at me and smiles. I notice that it's fake and frown.

"Shadow don't fake that shit with me!" I growl "I'm fine. It doesn't matter." she snapped with another fake smile and then headed to the house.

I do the same, furious she won't talk to me.

I get ready for bed and put on a big shirt that has a cute little kawaii bunny on it and pull on some comfortable black shorts.

I lay on my bed for a few minutes but can't shake the feeling that something wrong with Shadow so, I quietly get out of bed and head to my door and slightly open it, only to see Shadow, in a big black shirt and shorts that were purple and black.

"Where are you going at this hour?" I whisper in a the same angry tone that Miss. Flores uses when she's mad at us.

Shadow jumps back and looks at me in fright "You scared me!" She whispers yells.

I open my door all the way.

"I asked you a question" I barked  "Go back to sleep. I wanna be alone." she told me off and I rolled my eyes, closed my door as I walked back into my room.

I waited there for a few minutes until I felt like she left. I quietly walk out of my room and head to the living room, where I see Shadow walking out the sliding door.

I follow her quietly and watch her climb a ladder that Miss. Flores must've left outside. Once she's done I climb up slowly and swiftly.

The roof~

"What are you doing?" Shadow asks while I pat some dust off of me "You can't get rid of me that easily" I grin "Now tell me, what's wrong?" I ask with a sincere look.

Shadow looks up at the moon "It's nothing....it's just...the girls have powers and I'm pretty sure you do too.....because you know the whole tattoo thing" Shadow agonized, waving her hands in the air, and keeping her eyes on the sky, "I'm just wondering....what do I have? W-will you guys leave me once you all get powers?"

Shadow hesitated, a tear rolling down her cheek, and furrowed eyebrows.

"Hey now, don't say that! We love you and we'll never leave you! No matter what! You're freaking amazing and badass! And you know what you have!" I say trying to cheer her up.

Shadow looks up at me in surprise "What?" She asks with tears rolling down her face "You have us! That's what!" I reply with a big smile then hug her.

She buries her face in my shoulder and cries I pat her back softly

"It's gonna be okay" I comforted.

A few hours later~

We sat on the roof and talked for a while and just looked at the moon.

"We should probably go to sleep, we got school in the morning" Shadow says as she stands up "Yeah..." I agreed, my eyes still locked on the moon and the stars.

"School..." I say under my breath with annoyance.

I wasn't really looking forward to school but I headed to bed and immediately fell asleep.

Chapter four

Raven's Pov:

I wake up to my alarm and roll out off of my bed.

"Tuesday..." I mumble to myself as I read my calendar, Yesterday was Tuesday...yesterday...." "H-Hey" I hear a familiar voice say.

  I turn I see Celeste. She walks into my room, still wearing her clothes from yesterday, biting her lip, and playing with her lion-like bed hair.

"Hey..." I greet her with an awkward smile and a small wave as I slowly get up from the floor. "C-can we t-talk?" She stutters "About what? About how you didn't believe me? About how you left me hanging? About how you left us all without saying anything? You could've been taken or worse and it would've been my fault!" I yelled.

Celeste looked as though she was about to yell and then looked me in my eyes. Her big chocolate brown eyes looked sad and tired.

"It was a misunderstanding or whatever. I didn't mean to leave you like that...I know what you've been through...I'm sorry...please just calm down...let's talk." Celeste placated.

I looked away from her and then thought to myself.

"Raven?" I hear another voice say and a small knock. I turn to see Crystal "You here to 'talk' too?" I scoff.

Crystal sighed and looked at Celeste with a frown.

"I believe you..." Celeste says as she comes closer to me "Now? Now you choose to believe me?" I snap. "I...I...I" Celeste try's to speak but it only angers me more, "What? You're sorry? Do you believe me? You just wanna talk-"

"I have powers!" Celeste blurts

"What!?" Crystal and I look at Celeste if she's crazy.

"I have powers..." Celeste says once more.

"Are you joking?" I ask with irritation "No," she replies "Poof! I want proof." I demand.

She stands there and looks at both me and Crystal nervously.

"I...I don't really know how to work it..." she tells us "Just try" I reply.

She nods and then closes her eyes. Her body looks as if she's vibrating and then something emerges from the side of her.

What the hell is that? Some sort of birth defect? Like seriously what the fuck is that?

"Holy shit! What the hell is happening in here?!" Shadow yelled as she walked into the room.

Celeste's body quickly went back to normal and she turned around to see Shadow.

"Uh...." was all Celeste could say "She! She has fucking powers!" I exclaimed as I jumped in the air and then ran to Celeste.

"This is amazing! I don't know what the hell that was but that was amazing! We need to work on it though! You need to focus! How'd you do that? When did you start doing that? Can anyone else do that?" I explode all over Celeste.

She looks at me with confusion and fright and I laugh. 

"CELEBRATION TIME!!!" I scream as I quickly run to the side of my bed where my shoes are.

"W-what?" Celeste said still confused "Are we gonna talk about what the hell was happening to Celeste's body?" Shadow asked as she looked at Celeste with a little bit of fright "Jack's Arcade" I said, completely ignoring them all and putting my shoes on "Raven...what the hell is happening?" Crystal shuddered as she approached me.

"I'll explain when we get there" I tell her with a smile still on my face and then grab Celeste and runoff.

Jack's Arcade~

We arrive at Jack's Arcade and Shadow goes to the cashier to pay for some pizza.

"So um...do you know what's going on?" I hear Crystal ask Celeste.

Celeste looks down at her hands and then to the side of her "No, not really..." She finally replies, still staring at the side of her as though something was missing.

I grab Celeste and head to the Pac-Man game and start laughing at how derpy Pac-Man looks. Crystal heads to a table and I see Shadow sit next to her. Shadow gives me a stern look and I walk over to them.

"What's up?" I beamed with a big smile "What's up? What's up!? You wanna know what's up? What's up is that Celeste got some weird-ass alien shit going on with her! Your ass ran off yesterday and then her ass ran off yesterday! You won't tell us what's going on and I'm freaking the fuck out!" Shadow blurted.

Crystal put her hand on Shadow and the raging fire in her eyes disappeared.

"Look...let's just...let's just sit down..." Celeste said as she put her hand on my back to guide me towards the empty side of the booth. I sat down and then Celeste sat down next to me. They all looked at me as if I could give them the answers to a big test they had to take.

I giggled to myself and then signed for them to come closer. "Celeste has powers, were awesome ass Zodiacs, we all have powers because of our awesome ass tattoos, we should be superheroes, and I'm hungry." I stated. "What?" Shadow looked at me still confused "I'm hungry" I replied "Not that, loser!" Celeste says as she playfully shoves me "I don't believe this...this is..." Shadow tries to speak, "This is...I'm...get some food..."

She gets up from the tabl and I turn to Crystal and Celeste, "Wanna play some games?" They look at me with a confused smile and I shrug.

"I'ma go play some games" I tell them in a derpy voice and then leave.

A few minutes go by as I play games and watch the girls talk.

"Still so confused" I mumble to myself as I shoot a basketball into the small hoop.

When the pizza comes I rush over and push Celeste down so I can sit next to her.

"So uh...I understand more..." Shadow says as she slowly grabs a slice of pizza "Awesome sauce! We need to do a lot! We're gonna become superheroes and fight crime and demons and all kinds of bad guys! It's gonna be so cool!" I babbled as I grabbed some pizza "I don't know about that" Shadow said with a giggle "We will" I assure her, "Just wait and watch."

I start to stuff my face with pizza and quickly drink soda.

"Easy their tiger, you might choke." Shadow warns. "Girls?" I hear a familiar voice say and turn to the direction only to see Miss. Flores.

"Hai mum," I say with my mouth full of pizza.

She giggles.

"You guys didn't tell me you were leaving. I was worried" she says with concern "Sorry, mom, we were just so excited and hungry" Celeste explains with a chuckle as she looks at me.

"Well then, I hope you guys don't mind if I join ya" Mrs.Flores says with a sweet smile and sits next to Crystal. "Not at all mom" Crystal gushed with a smile as she scooted over to make room for Miss. Flores.

In the car~

"Did anyone else...get powers?" Celeste asks.

I guess she still can't believe that she has powers. We all wait in the car for Miss. Flores, who was paying for the second pizza.

I turn my attention away from the window and look at them.

"Well.....I met this boy and-" I get cut off by Celeste "A boy?" She says with a mischievous smirk.

I blush and smile "Shut up!" I say, laughing. "Please continue the story, Raven." Crystal says with a chuckle and a little of mischief in her eyes.

"Oh yeah! As I was saying!" I gush and give Celeste a smirk, "I meet this boy and I think he might've been..."

I hesitate and look away "What?" Celeste asks "Nothing you'll think I'm crazy," I say while waving my hand to shoo them "I already do also we have powers! What can be crazier than that?!" Celeste exclaimed with a laugh. I laugh, "Okay, I think he might've been a...demon..." I hesitate.

Shadow and Crystal look at me with widened eyes. Celeste stays calm and nods "Go on" She tells me. I nod and smile, "Well he said I have black magic and other powers" "What other powers?" Celeste asks in an anxious voice. "I don't know yet" I reply.

Celeste opens her mouth to speak but gets interrupted by a door slamming

"Alright girls let's go home!" Miss. Flores says while putting her seatbelt on.

Why Don't They Belive Me?

Chapter three

Raven's pov:

I run outside and head to the back of the school to see a beautiful forest. I run towards it.

"Why don't they believe me!?" I cry out, "Celeste never doubts me...I guess she's growing up..."

A tear falls down my cheek. "For once I wanted to be something special...amazing...and even powerful..." I sobbed with tears pouring out of my eyes.

I lay my head on one of the rocks and cry until I hear a cold voice come from the right of me,"Why are you crying?"

When I turn to see who it is all I see is bright glowing green eyes.

"W-What?" I say with a sniffle.

The eyes blink and a boy comes forward, he has dark red hair and he kinda looks like a bad boy. His eyes are so beautiful and green but cold and dark, and he's wearing a red and black plaid shirt with black ripped jeans.

"I said why are you crying?" He demanded to know "It doesn't matter. It's stupid." I blubbered with tears still rolling down my cheek.

"If it doesn't matter than don't cry about it" He told me with annoyance as he circled around me to see what I have in my hands.

I pull the book away from my chest to show him and he stops walking and looks at the book with wide eyes.

"Where did you find that?" he asks "In a library. Why? I reply "Give it to me." he demands with his eyes still locked on the book.

I look at him with a little anger "No it's mine!"

He finally looks me in the eyes and his eyes go black "GIVE IT TO ME NOW!" He yells with a deep echoing like voice and comes towards me with big red claws I close my eyes with fright but to my surprise, nothing happens. When I open my eyes I see a dark bluish thing around me and the boy standing there with a disappointed face.

"What the?" I think out loud and the force field suddenly disappears. "You're a Zodiac..." the boy says to himself with shock "Even more reason to kill you!" he chuckles.

I slowly scoot away with a frightened face. The boy looks me in the eyes and smiles "Don't worry I won't" he tells me.

I look at him with confusion "Why?"

He blushes and turns his eyes to the trees "Because! Geese! Do you wanna die!?" He bellowed.

I chuckle and stand up "Thank you," I say with a big smile. He looks at me and blushes more then turns away.

"Shut up!" He growls. "What was that dark bluish thing?" I ask, trying to change the subject.

His eyes still focused on the trees "It's your powers, retard." he explains in a rude tone"I know that but you don't have to be rude about!" I yell

"What's it called?" I sigh with a roll of my eyes. "It's called Dark Magic..." He says, finally looking me in the eyes.

"What's your Zodiac?" He asks "Aries..." I reply.

He looks at me and smirks "That means you have more powers..." he tells me.

My eyes widen as I smiled big "COOL! What are they?!" I ask in excitement.

He looks at me like I'm stupid "I don't know!" he barked.

My excitement goes away and I frown.

"Hey but...I think I can help you find out" He quickly says trying to make me smile "Really!?" I say as I grin ear to ear "Y-yes" he stuttered.

I ignore his stuttering and hear a familiar voice from behind me "RAVEN! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" I quickly turn around

Must be the girls

I think to myself. I turn to look at the boy but when I look to see him he's gone.

Home~

The whole way home was quite. I could tell that Shadow was mad that I had ran off and that they couldn't find Celeste.

Whenever Crystal or I tried to speak Shadow would brush us off.

When we got home I see the angry Miss. Flores: She looks at all of us and her anger disappears and becomes a concern.

"Where's Celeste?" She asks.

Shadow ignores her and goes to her room then slams her door.

Miss. Flores looks at Crystal and I in confusion and I slowly walk to my room with my head down and lay on my bed, thinking until I slowly fall asleep.

What The Hell Is Happing!?

Chapter two

Celeste pov:

I continue running until I'm outside.

"Where the hell did she go?!" I ask myself, looking around the school's front yard.

I continue running knowing that I'm basically skipping school, but I don't really care right now, only Raven matters.

A few minutes pass by and I stop running to catch my breath.

"Powers?" I think out loud, "She said we have powers. So what if I..."

I start consecrating to see if what Raven said was true: I close my eyes and try to think hard but all I can think about is how I wished I had more people to help me find Raven.

When I open them I see an exact replica of me, but half of me is in someone's body... It looked so terrifying so I closed my eyes and hoped for it to go away but when I opened my eyes the copy of me was gone and the person was split in half on the floor. I walked backward in fright, wondering if I should run, hide, scream, or cry but as I walked I bumped into someone.

I turn to say sorry to the person but when I turned I accidentally shove them into the street. The man looks angry and before he gets to say anything a car rushes by and the man is gone.

The car starts to zigzag around until it hits a big building and the building catches on fire.

I stand there in fright, shaking, sweating, and wishing I could disappear. I manage to say sorry and then suddenly I feel a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't be" a boy says with an air-filled laugh. I turn around quickly and observe him: he's the guy from the window!

"But I just...I just...those people...I..." He stops laughing and smiles down at me. "They don't know that and besides those people were bad" He assures me while looking around.

I look around my self and give him a confused look "What do you mean” I ask, ”How do you know that?" "You we're invisible, darling" he explained.

I give him an even more confused face and tilt my head in reaction.

"What are you talking about? No one can turn invisible...are you okay?" I say but he completely ignores me. "The names Rece," he says with a smirk as he holds his hand out for me to shake.

I hesitate for a second and then grab his hand.

"Celeste" I introduce with my same confused tone. He rubs one of his fingers on my wrist then turns my arm over to reveal my tattoo.

"Gemini" He mutters with a mischievous smile.

I look at my wrist and then up at him "What?" I ask. He rolls his eyes in annoyance and pulls at his collar to reveal an Aries sign on the left side of his chest. "I'm a Zodiac just like you, it's the reason why I could see you when you were invisible." He tells me.

I look at him in confusion still, "What the hell are you talking about and what the hell is happing to me!?" He looks at me in surprise "You don't know? You really don't know?" He asks with a chuckle "Know what?" I yell but he ignores me AGAIN.

He leans forward so that I can see his dark brown eyes more clearly "Where are ya headed?" He asks "Home..." I reply, completely forgetting why I was running.

He stands up straight "I'll take you there and explain everything!" He grins "...Okay?" I say still wondering what the hell was going on.

A few minutes later~

A few minutes go by and we're quiet for a while until I try to break the silence, "So are you gonna tell me...or no?"

Rece picks his head up and looks at me "Oh yeah! So a long time ago there was these godlike peo-" I cut him off, "I already heard that."

He looks at me in confusion and stops walking. I do the same.

"How do you not know about you being a Zodiac if you've already heard the story?" He asks "Long story can you just tell me what the hell is happening," I say in annoyance.

He grabs my shoulder and looks me in the eyes which catches me off guard. "You found the third book!" He cheered with a big smile.

I look at him in confusion and take his hands off me slowly "What are you talking about?" I ask.

He quickly pulls a book out of his big black jacket and shows me an old black book that says ’Zodiacs’ in purple letters.

"I have the second one." he confessed, then points at the sky, "They have the first one" "Who?" I ask while looking up "The flying dicks!" he growled with annoyance.

I hear thunder behind me "Yeah that's right I called you flying dicks! What are ya gonna do about it!? Huh?!" He yells at the sky.

I notice people staring and quickly drag him to the other street he looks at me and smiles "Don't worry the angels won't do anything" he tells with a laugh.

I look at him seriously. "People are looking at you like you like your crazy!" I tell him "Please...just tell me what's going on" I beg.

He looks at me in the eyes and smirks "You have powers and you're descended from the original Zodiacs" he says "Well that was the most simplest answer ever" I say under my breath.

"What kind of powers do I have?" I ask, he looks me up and down. "You have the power to duplicate, to be invisible, and something else...probably," he tells me. "Probably?" I ask "Not many Zodiacs are born with a lot of powers" he reply's " What about you? Do you have lots of powers?" I leered with a smirk.

He looks at me like I'm stupid and says, "Of course I'm a freaking Aries, one of the most powerful Zodiacs!" I roll my eyes "Cocky much" I mutter.

My house~

The whole way home Rece talked about his powers and how he hates the angels but once we got to my house he was quite.

"So this is my house" I tell him, trying to not be awkward. He laughs and says, "I know weirdo"

I laugh nervously as I scratch the back of my head.

"Hey, If you ever want to talk about your powers or the Zodiacs just go into the shadows and call out my name." he says with a small smile.

I smile back and turn to open the door "Hey-" I start to say but when I turn around he's gone.

"Awesome!" I breathe, excitement winding up inside me.

I head into my house quietly, making sure that Miss. Flores doesn't see me nor hear me.

My Room~

I lay on my bed facing my roof.

"Today has been a crazy ass day." I sigh and then suddenly jump up, realizing that I have powers, "This is amazing!"

"Meow~" I hear in the corner of my room. I turn to the noise and greet my cat, Snow, "Hey, Snow"

I give my cat a small smile and she comes towards me, rubs her white fur on my pants, then starts purring. "You want some scratches~?" I ask in a playful tone.

Snow rubs her head into my hands and I began scratching her behind her ears then slowly fall asleep my last thought was, ”What a crazy ass day...”
