i did it !!

i found it very interesting again the change of colours/scenes between them - very old cinema aesthetic. i understand that alicia (painted one) and maelle are very differents characters since the painted one are more of aline's prespective of her daughter - again she is still painting as i think she see's all of her children doing it (later on - maelle withouth noticing i think - she's meant to replace her mother place in the canvas). it just it could be that before the incident in the mansion - alicia was so young but it could be that she enjoyed acting? it just my silly headcanon i guess :) what are your thoughts about it?

another clair obscure expedition 33 post / spoilers from the ending and maelle - alicia related thoughts.

i'm still curious of what should mean when alice / maelle interacts (everything turns in slow motion, black & white (that should represent the clair-obscure element) but also, it really resembles to old cinema?). it could be that, in a very similar way of verso's authentic passion was music and not painting - alicia is more of actress? i think it could be since she decides to make herself another character - maelle with her own personality too. (if we ignore that later on - she's her trueself, as verso told her on the final fight)

some thoughts as i continued playing post-game clair obscure: exp 33. major spoilers related i wanted to share

okay, so i finished the game few days ago and i needed to process i little bit - at first, i could see the resemblance (in a narrative way) of final fantasy X (which is my favorite!) and as well, later in X-2, they give you alternative ending which you could bring back tidus and basically - destroy a little bit the process of growing and move on of the major characters. anyway - clair obscure has obviously some major differences on how process grief - how the contrast between light / dark creates this depth and meanigful insight of complexities that is all life about. i loved a lot.

meanwhile, in my playtrough i didn't use that much verso bc i wanted a full team of girls lol but - as their relationship between the team and verso progresses and obv this game pushes you to romance one of the girls or both - this detail didn't bug me that much bc once you know the truth of their world and how all of this is painted by the last remaining piece of soul of verso - i could see that both sciel and lune had some depth and interesing conflict as their own characters that made me realize that maybe they were also past conflicts of verso too? like, lune and verso had very similar childhoods (they both deslike their core propouse of their families : the painteress in the case of lune and verso's painting but at the same time, they have the same passion: music).

i don't know if this makes any sense but the way verso's speaks at them and their relationship as well, i found it very endearing bc maybe it's a way of him processing his own trauma in his family and conflict? like what he would wanted to hear or - as well, it was his world and creation. we, also the players, we want to escape our world - meet another players or characters who we can relate and would have wanted to console us. idk.
