Some days you don't feel like being positive and optimistic when challenges are taking place in your life. Some days you don't feel like looking at the bright side of things. Some days you feel like giving up and throwing in the towel . Some days you don't feel like being strong and keep pushing. Honor those emotions and be real about what you are feeling at that very moment. Be present in that feeling and release the need to resist controlling the emotions. Cry, scream, curse and release. Don't hold on what is clearly wanting to be released so that you can feel free. Imperfection is in the raw emotion. Imperfection is in the honesty of what you are feeling. Imperfection is honoring everything that is coming up because it needs too. That is true strength and not a weakness or failure eventhough you may not feel like it. Imperfection is loving yourself enough to honor all parts of you and that comes with the not so great parts and no longer hiding it because of how it may make you feel or seem about yourself. That is deeper growth. Honor your emotions and feel them! Good, bad or indifferent.

It is so easy to give up and extremely difficult to keep going. You have come so far to throw in the towel and no matter how hard it may seen, don't give up and keep going. I have to give myself this pep talk daily as there are times I too want to throw in the towel however I know how far I have come and all of the progress I have made to quit now. I give myself permission to have a five minute pity party then I pull my big gurl booty shorts and pour that energy into myself, others and things I love. Is it difficult at times? Absofuckinglutely! However I always ask myself if I only had ten minutes left to live, would I be satisfied with my life thus far and my answer is always NO. So I am asking you the very same question...
