Madame Yu is such a tragic character because she had the potential to be just as complex as MXTX's other characters but she spends 99% of her screen time abusing orphan children so she just becomes cartoonishly evil
#read 'heaven has no rage' on ao3#it has really good writing and fleshes her out without softening her too much#it is modern au tho. which i dont tend to like. but it works here#MXTX is a good writer and i have nothing against her as a person#and i also respect the genre she's writing in#the stories she writes#and the audience shes catering to#but.#the way she writes women sometimes comes across as misogynistic to me#which sticks out when compared to her male characters because their writing is so much better#not mine#not art

i've been awake for about 3-ish hours and managed to:
do the dishes and clean the kitchen
eat decently ok breakfeast (tea, homemade chicken, clementine)
wash bedding and blankets
wash clothes
more plans for today:
wash hair
go on a walk
which is pretty good for me. idk if i have chronic fatigue or if i'm just really fucking lazy but usually i feel too tired to do anything after school days. glad i scheduled fridays off i guess

making dinner is so easy when you're not making it to impress anyone
like, just cube some beef, slam it into the pot w/ some butter
chop some onions and slam that into the pot as well
chop some tomato, slam that shit in too
wash the broccoli and put it in a microwave safe container. put some butter in there and steam the broccoli in the microwave for like 2 mins
slam the broccoli into the pot
season w/ soy sauce, red wine, garlic powder, cumin, pepper
stir that shit until everythings good
make rice on the side
don't wash the rice because you're kinda pissed at your family and they don't deserve it
boom. dinner is done. and its nutritionally sound, too
