A Frustrated Artist

I felt inspired to make a self portrait similar to Gustave Courbet’s The Desperate Man. This is part of my attempt at capturing and understanding how to portray emotion in art. It was nice to get back into my favorite way of drawing, being charcoal on water color, something about it is very alluring to me :3
