Just their. Their cannon dynamic. (KDJ being an annoying bastard and YJH actively trying to kill him for it but also secretly finding it endearing.) Except everyone else besides them just treats it like they r alr dating. Bc they kind of are.

I dont want them to idk confess or some shit like normal people!!! I want their weird fucked up dynamic to go on forever!!!! And everyone else knows its gay except for them. (YJH bc of denial, KDJ bc hes convinced YJH hates him)

Tbh whenever i get anxious about not drawing for a while i remember artists like Jackson pollock, whod take 6+ months long breaks from art before creating some of his most famous works.

Sometimes ur brain needs rest to think, to process, to learn, etc., so you can later bring those experiences to paper. The mindset that u need to constantly be improving, honing ur skill and be as productive as possible is probably less of an actual art thing and instead a result of capitalism. It sure has a lot of similarities to hussle culture and sounds more like sth a mashine would do.

(ofc consistent practice can lead to a lot of improvement when it comes to a hobby, but it just doesn't work for everyone, especially when it comes to creativity. As someone who has a lot of classical musicians in his family ive seen the damage that that kind of pressure can do to people when they are required to practice for hours on end every day of the week for years, unable to take breaks without feeling guilty.)

I genuinely think the idea that if you should draw a little every day or you'll suffer skill degradation is a total fabrication. Some of the best art I've ever drawn has been coming back from long breaks. I'm talking like weeks. Sometimes you just gotta reset and flush the systems. There's no shame in it. Take breaks. The art will be there for you when you're ready.
