A/N: Here it is! I hope it doesn’t disappoint. This fills quite a few prompts I have, because people love Eddie trying and failing to get Steve to tickle him. Thank you to @ticklishraspberries and @writingwitharlo for reading this beforehand!

The thing was, Eddie would consider himself a rather straightforward guy. Not so much with words as with actions, but as his uncle had reminded him of plenty of times: he could be entirely transparent to the people who knew him best.

Did this ultimately lead to the conclusion that Steve hadn’t bothered getting to know his quirks in the same way as Eddie himself had found pleasure in overanalyzing Steve’s? Not necessarily. Eddie would most definitely hope not. But the thought was there, nibbling at the back of his head each time Eddie’s efforts went unnoticed.

Yeah, he was being a little snippy about it, mostly in private, or around his ever so patient uncle who never asked.

Would Steve even notice him being in a bad mood anyway?

“Are you mad at me or something?”

Eddie snapped out of it, his eyes finding Steve’s. “What? No. Why would I be mad?”

Steve shrugged, returning his gaze to the TV. “I dunno. You’re quiet.”

“I’m watching the movie.”

“No, you’re not.”

Idk man I just think for a show that started off as kids fighting giants and turned into “my war crime is worse than your war crime”, it is driven almost entirely by unique, poignant and thoroughly convincing love stories.

A scenario:

That moment lying beside someone and they move there arm across you to pull you in close. As you snuggle in your t-shirt rides up a little.. spotting this (with you held in place; how convenient), your adorable cuddler is attracted by a more sinister motive.

As you lay there you feel the hand lying across your begin to move, the hand forming a claw like shape as the fingernails touch against the far side of your tummy. You probably realise what is coming but you can’t show fear or wiggle - that would give away your ticklishness. Soon. Those fingertips gently begin to shift and trace across your lower tummy. Covering the space between your bellybutton and waistline.. all the while your mind racing to control your reactions.

You try to stifle a giggle but it escapes. You tummy sucks in automatically and you squirm in place - and you have brought upon yourself the dreaded question…

Oh: are you ticklish?

You have no time to protest! Deny! You search for words but nothing comes. Before you know it, those traces turn into a furious playful ticklish attack across your tummy. when a lee brats and gets the "can you take responsibility for what you just said? come here." from the ler 👀 -> then when the lee gets their tickles and begs the ler to stop teasing them the ler simply goes "but you asked for it"

lers that tickle the lee and then act like the lee's reactions are of their own accord: "are you trying to seduce me or something?" / "stop giggling so much i'm not sure how much my heart can take" / "you're toying with my ler mood - this is seriously not fair"
