Justice, Perseverance, and Kindness. they all share aspects of each other's soul traits but they each have a dominant one that "defines" them.

Jake has aspects of Kindness and perseverance, Steven has aspects of Justice and Perseverance, and Marc has aspects of Kindness and Justice.

I definitely could have used Steven's sacrifice in the duat as kindness as well in the animation part, but all I could think about was him being cute. And by the time the idea came I already finished it...

Okay but what if I made it so Jake, Steven, and Marc all like collecting lighters?

Jake collects vintage/antique lighters. He doesn't smoke anymore but he still likes how they look.

Jake stores them in a nice case and spends the most money on his collection.

A lot of his lighters are fire hazards so he he doesn't let anyone touch them besides himself. Also because they're his and he doesn't like people touching his stuff.

His favorite lighters are ones with clocks built inside them cause he thinks it cool. Or ones with large flames (basically the fire hazardous ones).

He does have a larger lighter shaped like a gun bc he thinks it's funny to point it at people (bad guys) and pretend hes going to shoot them.

Steven collects Egyptian-themed lighters that later branch out to cultural lighters from countries they visit. i.e lighters of landmarks like the Eiffel Tower or just ones with the countries flags printed on it.

A unicorn one after they had a mission in Scotland and one that's shaped like the Nepal flag (it's secretly his favorite). [These lighters don't actually exist in the way I'm imagining them]

He also has a stash of lighters that have odd color flames that he keeps hidden.

Steven likes to display some of the landmark lighters on the shelves if he can.

Marc collects novelty lighters of moderate size.

The sillier the better. He has a soft spot for the cuter lighters as well, like ones that look like chocolate. Or cellphones. One of his favorites is shaped like a fire extinguisher. He does have a few cool ones, some shaped like a poker chip or a sword.

He has one or two firestarter lighters as well for basic survival reasons and bc they look cool

He keeps them all in a designated drawer in the kitchen. Fore warning Don't ask him for a light in serious situations it'll kill the mood.

More Alice in Wonderland x Moonknight

Dating Sim concept:

I included my headcanon that Marc likes to garden because its a cute scenario for a first meeting.

Steven is the first you meet as the White Rabbit then Marc, then Jake.

The premise is you ended up in Wonderland and now have to find your way back. You meet the Mad Hatter and he tells you you have to collect all x amount of pieces of this pendant to return home.

The first piece is in the possession of the Queen of Hearts. You save the white rabbit (Steven) from being executed bc he said something he shouldnt have and you quickly leave to find the missing piece.

Once you manage to sneak into the QoH room after escaping the guards you find and take the pieces and escape into the woods and lose the guards. The woods are dark and a bit scary and you hear rustling in the bushes it's the White rabbit.

To thank you for saving his life he agrees to travel throughout Wonderland with you to find the missing pieces and help you return home. He's a walking exposition dump for Wonderland and and it's..well....wonders.

That's it. You meet different Wonderland characters on the way who take on the form of MK characters. You find out the White Rabbit has DID in the most odd time possible. As the story continues you have the choice to romance any 3 of them. Choices have different outcomes. Different endings depending on those choices, you know the drill.

Marc is Alice concept

I have concepts so far but this all came to pass because I thought it would be perfect if Marc was Alice and his mother was the Red Queen. It would be similar to the scene that got deleted.

The premise for this one is that maybe Marc was fighting a villain with relauty bending powers or some kinda magic. And he ends up in Wonderland (a story he used to read as a kid to escape)

All the people there are people Marc, Steven and Jake know. He has to find a way out and get back home. Hijinks ensues. sad stuff happens. Maybe this is how he meets Jake for the first time idk.

((i have not written an introspective, character piece in a while but I re-watched Moon Knight and I have a great many fics coming lol))

Marc could hear the shattering of glass in the kitchen, and his fathers voice raised above it, but the object weighing in his hands made everything else a muted movie in the background of his thoughts.

He was so tired of pretending. That he didn't hear the things his mother called him, or that he didn't notice his fathers puffy face. He was too old to play pretend anymore.

Marc's hands were shaking with the effort of both keeping Steven asleep and the anxiety of what he planned to do next. He simply couldn't do it anymore, and if the pleading voice of his father was any indication then they were no closer to a compromise than they were five years ago when his brother died.

When he killed his brother, surely. He was convinced of his guilt by now. There was no way that his mother would throw away their relationship over a lie. No, the conviction with which she hated him was biblical and he deserved it.

His thumb twitched on the safety, flicking it off. The yelling downstairs was coming to a crescendo and he could feel Steven stir in the recesses of his mind, despite Marc's best efforts. It was now or never.

He tried to ignore the pang of guilt at the thought of ending Steven's life, as well. He was already going to purgatory, he supposed. What was one more sin? Unfortunate collateral. But Marc needed to be taken care of. He was evil, and had only harmed those he loved.

Tear tracks ran fresh down his boyish cheeks, turning cold quickly from the winter air biting through his window. Footsteps were thundering up the stairs now, and his mother was yelling his name in that feral tone that she used when she planned on punishing him.

Steven was waking in earnest, stirred by the commotion. It was now or never.

But Marc hesitated. The barrel of the gun cold and unyielding under his chin, finger just ghosting over the trigger. Why was he hesitating? This was justice. For his brother, and the broken remains of his family stood outside of his bedroom door. This was right.

So why couldn't he do it? The childlike hope that clung like sap to him was fighting hard against him. Maybe he could pretend. For a while longer.

Marc was quick to flick the safety back into place, sliding the gun under his bed right as his mother all but kicked the door in.

"Are you deaf? Why don't you listen?" She advanced quickly.

Marc doesn't remember the rest of that day.

Honorably Discharged. Despite the honorific, Marc knew what it was. The shamefulness in it. Unbalanced mental state, going AWOL. The issue was, he was almost always co pilot when Steven was walking around, so why were there so many lapses in his memory lately? Waking up to hands warm with other peoples blood. Was he breaking more entirely now; his own mind shattering under the weight?

Marc wasn't sure; but he was sure that this had to be it. He could not do it anymore.

He had gotten a nice hotel room, something with a view in Cairo. They had been stationed a few miles away when Marc disappeared for two days; the American military does not take kindly to flighty soldiers. Something in the contract.

The gun in his hand weighed next to nothing now, but he couldn't help but be pulled back to that day in his bedroom all of those years ago. He had been too scared, a sliver of hope keeping him afloat.

There was no hope now. Marc couldn't summon even the faintest glimmer of anything other than grief and anger. He mourned who he could have been. Mourned his brother, and his mother before her time. And he was so angry. Angry at the world, and at himself. While distance had given him perspective, the judgment had stayed the same. Marc was a weed, at risk of choking even more life around him.

This was justice.

For himself or someone else, he wasn't sure anymore.

Deft fingers flicked at the safety, all too familiar with the feeling of a fire arm at this point in his life - and he lifted it to his chin without hesitation.

A gulp, and then his finger found the trigger.

Marc jumped with a curse, pure luck that he didn't squeeze the trigger in panic.

Two more annoying chimes sounded from the phone at his side and he gave a frown, lifting it up. Next to no one had his number, and certainly none of them wanted to contact him.

i need you for a job. egypt. life changing.

He felt an eyebrow raise, completely forgetting that he had contacted his old CO for any job leads the day after he had been discharged, not fully deciding his next move.

The two objects in his hand weighed out their heavy paths, and Marc felt that annoying stab of hope in his stomach.

i'm in.

Marc could feel the sand burrowing itself into the bullet holes in his back, but there wasn't really a better way to crawl considering there were holes everywhere.

Bushman had called for no witnesses right as they were loading the truck, that fucker. Marc didn't do well with changes to the plan and certainly didn't agree with killing civilians. No one had seen any faces, it was completely unnecessary.

Marc's decision was easy.

He had managed to drop two of the other mercs before anyone landed a hit on him, but the hostages were all bleeding out on the sands. There wasn't enough time to explain the plan, weren't enough Marc's to protect all of them.

Bushman must have dumped half a clip into him before Marc finally landed a shot between his eyes, watching him drop to the sand.

He was going to bleed out, he was certain of it. Might as well hurry it along. He wasn't sure about the logistics of losing all of your blood, but it probably took a while and obviously wasn't very comfortable. The poke of the stone steps in his back was muted by the bullets that didn't have an exit wound, rustling around in him like some fucked up piggy bank.

This was most definitely it. How fitting, that his life truly was going to end by his own hand after all of this time.

His eyes traced the bodies of the fallen hostages as he turned the safety off for the first time. Mumbling a prayer under his breath for those that didn't deserve to fall today. Marc clenched his teeth against the pain, eyes closing to accept the coming darkness.

"How interesting."

Marc's eyes shot open, flicking around the tomb that he was laid in. "What the fuck? Hello?"

"What do you say we make a deal?"

The hope flickered.

He was, he supposed, getting so good at pretending.

i have to put this on tumblr so it'll avtually be seen but ive been rewatching Moon knight and.

i started. noticing a Third Accent popping up in some dialogue scenes. and i got a clip of it here (please forgive the cropping hiding some subtitles im sorry)

do you hear how the "stay out of my way" is said in a different accent from Marc and Steven?? also the way marcs sentance continues in such a jarring fasion afterwards?? that was jake. i swear it. thats him.

AND ALSO in episode 2 when steven was being interrogated by Harrow about the scarab, the reflection seen there speaking wasnt marc, the accent was different, i think that was *Jake* being protective of layla, telling steven not to say anything.

and in the storage locker, Marc is reflected on the walls, but the reflection in the gun? Third Accent. Jake. those dialogues were repeated one after the other in the episode preview so it made the Third Accent even more obvious

Thunderbolts end credit spoilers

Yall, it's not a divorce between Sam and Bucky. Before I saw the movie everyone was freaking out but from what I saw it was just a bunch of wrong timings. All couples have lovers' spats.

Sam did nothing wrong and I stand by my king. 😤😤

Hell yeah, file copyright!! After all the BS you went through, you earned the right!!! The entire Thunderbolts movie, hell, the entire Marvel cinematic universe since Iron Man 1 shows that working with the government NEVER works.

It always ends badly cause there will always be someone with a hidden agenda or playing both sides. Just like Sam said, too much red tape to be able to do the right thing in time to save people.

Bucky gonna have to suck it up and find a new name. 🤭

Regardless, I don't blame Bucky for what happened though, Valentina set them up. She's very calculating and when you're a congressman having good press can help get voters on your side to pass bills.

And these bills could do so much, especially for vigilantes and heroes or even mutants in the long run.

Sam and Bucky will patch things up eventually guys I believe it. 🙂‍↕️

Anyway, Sam's feelings are valid, even though Bucky's heart is in the right place, he missed the mark on this one. He just needs to go through his Brave New World arc. Buck still feels guilty for the winter soldier stuff and is trying to repent any way he can.
