Cleaning up my downloads folder again because I still find it strange that my game takes an hour to load with 18 GB of cc while another person says that with 25GB of cc theirs loads within minutes

I know that we might have different specs but like come on y’all

Next day consists of hustling at Gallery De Barnett

Claude tends to be a dirty dog, but hopefully over time, he will be a clean boy!

James had a dog toy crate in his inventory. After coming home from work, he heads on over to Pet Haven and buys a husky named Claude!

The round starts with James waking up with some terrible makeup on his face, so he wastes no time wiping it off his face.

After some cleaning, compressing and renaming files, my loading time went down a bit more and I don’t experience a frozen screen when trying to select a family from neighborhood view.

I guess I need to update my ssd and graphics card on my laptop, I’ll invest on a desktop when I move out of my mom’s.

This means I most likely won’t attempt streaming the sims 2 any time soon if I ever start streaming since it takes my game 55 minutes to an hour to load up 😭😭😭

I got the 50 LTW mod installed into my game! Took a while to figure out how to get my game to stop from crashing, I’m assuming just like custom careers, these new Lifetime Wants are considered to be objects!!! Had to let some cc go unfortunately. But I think I can add some other things now however…

I’ve also started the process of cleaning up my downloads folder. I’m moving swatch.pngs, previews, readme files to another folder outside of my DL, replacing spaces and special characters with underscores, hoping that I can cut down the size of my folder and speed up the loading time.

I’ve been meaning to do this forever ago, but I was lazy.

Update: after some cleaning up some of the clothes folder, the loading time went from 1hr 15mins to 1hr and some change!!! I’ll continue cleaning up after therapy.
