I saw some really cute hannigram plots being suggested here and my first thought was “ok but where the cannibalism fits?”.

If there isn’t murder, cannibalism and possessiveness, it doesn’t really feel like hannigram.

The way I see it, Season 1 Will can not be seen only was a victim of Hannibal’s influence. He is, of course, still innocent. But even before Hannibal, Season 1 Will was a wolf. A lonely wolf who knew he couldn’t act on his instincts, constantly trying to hide his paws and apear non threatening (especially to Alana). Will knew it was just a matter of time before the darkness inside of him grows; thus that joke about one day being admitted in BSHIC.

So Will isolates himself with his pack. Doesn’t do small talk, doesn’t pretend he has any interest in socializing. Everything about him – his clothes, short answers and glasses covering his eyes – screams “do not approach”. That way he doesn’t have to pretend to care about what people want (it’s so easy to read their desperate and pathetic thoughts) or that he’s like them.

Sometimes is really tiring to appear like an docile wolf.

Idk why, but when I think of Sirius parenting Harry, all I see is Sirius and Harry getting really close and laughing together, and then toddler Harry calls Sirius, 'papa', and all of sudden Sirius is on his knees with pictures of James and Lily, begging Harry to remember.
