How could I have not noticed this before

Giorno’s Gold Experience is totally a modified form of Jonathan’s Hamon. Even its weakness being ice/cold is consistent, seeing as that’s what Dio used to fight Hamon in Phantom Blood.

May I humbly request some Jonathan analysis?

I’m on desktop now and so can see my inbox lmfao fucking Tumblr. Anyway. 

The thing about Jonathan that I find most intriguing is his pretty obvious thread down through the Joestar generations. I joke about how JoJo and Dio got into a lil fight in 1884 or whenever and doomed the entire Joestar bloodline (and also the entire world). But JoJo didn’t die like a bitch on that bitch boat, his soul and hamon and fighting spirit lived on to continue to guide all his successors.

It’s been theorized that Dio’s use of what looks like Hermit Purple is actually the manifestation of Jonathan’s stand. Joseph and Holly both have vine-like stands, and it’s likely that the abilities of all three are similar (altho we never see the fighting potential of Holly’s stand, unfortunately, Dio’s camera punch suggests a close kinship if nothing else with Joseph’s stand). 

It’s also been theorized that Star Platinum is the representation of Jonathan himself, in spirit form. Huge, punchy, got that extend-o finger thing going on, pure of heart, etc. I support this theory. SPlat could have manifested at any time, it could have grown up with Jotaro like Hierophant Green did with Kakyoin (we assume). But it waited until the moment when Dio needed the most punching. And can you really argue Dio’s body exploded at the end of Stardust Crusaders from ora ora ora alone? There was definitely some hamon going on there. 

And I’ve mentioned this before, but Jonathan was blooming flowers 200 years before GioGio came along.

I’m 100% certain that Gold Experience is hamon manifested in its perfect stand form. And if I ever get around to reading Stone Ocean, I’m sure I could find even more evidence of OGJOJO’s direct influence on his lineage. 

I don’t know why this is the thread I chose to pull, but I love seeing the continued presence of Jonathan Joestar throughout the entire series (that I’ve consumed). Part skippers might not care about Phantom Blood, but Jonathan Joestar set the foundation for the whole damn franchise. Jonathan Joestar, best boy.

when one person in a couple takes on a more monstrous/scary form (especially for the sake of protecting the other person) and they're so worried about the other person seeing them and being disgusted at the sight of them but when the other person does see them they're so gentle and so patient and they just want to make sure their beloved is okay and maybe even ground them if their monstrous form is overwhelming for them and it's just. you know

We all know exactly WHY the new Killer “The Trickster” was created…

He’s actually not that bad, just a lot of wasted potential when it comes to his story and ESPECIALLY his design! Just not scary looking at all! So I attempted a quick redesign, staying true to his OG concept while making him overall creepier and more fitting to Dead by Daylight.

May redo this at some point but for now I needed to get this out of my system.

Seeing Ji-Woon next to all the other killers is sooo funny, I imagine him showing up in the Entity’s realm as an inverse version of the Halloween party scene from Mean Girls.
