Right now, I can't stop thinking of a Knight and Princess style romance with Glitra.

There's something so inherently romantic to the Princess/Knight dynamic in a romance setting. The mix of emotions as duty becomes true love. The way they're positions in society challenge their relationship. The diversity of scenarios depending on what you want to explore, a more grounded medieval setting, a more off the wall epic fantasy.

Honestly, you don't even have to deviate from the show's universe. You can explore all of that through a "What if Catra joined Bright Moon's royal guard", and you can have that by following most of the canon, or diverging by having Catra live in or near Bright Moon since childhood. And all of that can open the gate for a lot of interesting character exploration.

Think of the fluffy scenes!! Beautiful ball dances! Catra teaching Glimmer how to sword fight in secret, only for Glim to slip and for Catra to hold her, Glimmer showing Catra magic, Catra sleeping in Glimmer's lap while they're by beautiful river, horse riding through the forest!

This is all very rambly, but I got the whole Knight/Royalty romance as brainrot right now, and it's mixing with the perpetual Glitra brainrot that's always with me.

Glimmer can't count the number of times Catra has saved her life. (The most recent being two days ago, when she successfully disarmed the girl from the gang on their turf lunging at her with a knife mid-movement and also sort of managed to completely dislocate her arm.) She's ridiculously, stupidly lucky to have her (and ridiculously, stupidly in love).
