Stiles fidgeted on his bed while he waited for a reply from Y/n. He’d finally worked up the courage to tell her how he felt and now he had to wait to see if she would admit her feelings for him. In the last few weeks, he had figured it out with the help of Lydia. She’s been telling him what to do and how to confess it. Of course, he would rather tell her in person, but he needed to do it.
The longer he waited, the more anxious he became. It wasn’t like Y/n to go this long without responding. A deep feeling of dread manifested in him. He sent another text while pacing his bedroom.
“Hey Stiles, what was Y/n’s address again?” Sheriff Stilinski stood in the doorway of his son’s room, his Sheriff gear on.
Stiles stopped pacing. “876 Briarwood Drive. Why?” The dread only grew.
“Ahh damnit.” Sheriff muttered looking upset.
“What is it dad?” He was truly terrified to learn what was happening, but he needed to.
“There’s been a call to that house. The alarm system has been going off for a while.” He stated.
Stiles was quick to pull on a jacket. “Let’s go.”
“Stiles, you can’t come with me.” Sheriff looked exhausted.
“I have to. Y/n is a good friend of mine. I have to make sure she is okay. She’s a part of the pack and her safety means everything to me.” Stiles explained to his dad.
“Okay, come on.” He led his son to the cruiser, and they rushed over to the address. Deputy Parish was already on the scene. “What do you have so far?”
By the look on his face, it wasn’t good. “There was a break in. They smashed the backdoor.” Parish explained while glancing at Stiles.
“Any sign of anyone inside?”
“No sir. But there is blood in the kitchen.” Those words scared Stiles so much. He jumped out of the car and rushed into the house. His dad was hot on his trail.
“Stiles, you can’t go in there.” He didn’t listen though and ran into the house and stopped at the kitchen door. Sure enough, there was shattered glass along with smears of blood.
Thinking fast, Stiles rushed up the stairs to your room and threw open the door. He hoped you were there, but he was greeted with emptiness. Something horrible had happened to you and he felt it deep in his bones.
Sheriff Stilinski found Stiles standing in the doorway of Y/n’s room. He was just simply staring into the room, shocked that something happened to her, but he knew who was involved. There was no doubt in his mind that Theo was involved.
“Stiles, would you happen to know someone who could be involved with this?” Sheriff asked as he studied his son. He’d been able to tell when Stiles knew more than he led on.
“I do.” Stiles mumbled. “I need to get Scott here.” He told his dad before walking out of the room and down the stairs, pulling his phone from his pocket and dialing Scott’s number, hoping he would pick it up. Luckily, he did, and Stiles went through and explained it all to Scott, who said he would be over as soon as he could be. As he waited for Scott, he also called Lydia who also said she was rushing over.
Sheriff Stilinski watched his son as he paced the front yard waiting for his friends. “Stiles, you need to sit down. You’re going to give yourself a panic attack.”
“I can’t. I’m so worried for her. She means the world to me and the fact that she was taken feels bad.” Stiles was just hoping they could find her before something really bad happens to her.
“How long have you liked her?” Sheriff asked when he realized just why his son was so invested in her.
“A while now. I haven’t even been able to tell her. I mean I sent her the text, but I don’t know if she’s actually read it. She also thinks I’m in love with Lydia, which I want to fix.” He explained as he started working himself up again. “Oh god, what if I never get to tell her!”
His dad stood up and pulled him into a hug. “Calm down Stiles, we will find her. Now tell me who you think took her.” Maybe if he had an idea of who they were dealing with, he could help Stiles stay calm.
Stiles pulled sway from his dad. “Theo. He’s been bothering her all week and earlier today he apparently threatened her.”
“Theo?” Sheriff was surprised. “Theo Raekin? Really? He’s never been the type. Definitely not when you were in elementary school together.”
“I know but somethings definitely changed. Theo’s not the same and I think he is definitely who took Y/n.”
Sheriff Stilinski trusted his son, so he had no doubts about what he was saying. Sure, it was shocking that Theo Raeken could be capable of doing such a thing, but right now Sheriff needed to focus on Y/n and where this kid could have taken her.
Scott pulled up on his motorcycle and walked over to Stiles. “So, she was just taken?” He asked as he assessed the house.
“Yes, she was texting me and she said something happened. I didn’t know that it meant someone broke into her house.” As he explained this, another car pulled up. It was Liam and Mason. “Dude, you called Liam?”
Scott shrugged. “I had to. I think Liam could help us. Especially if it’s someone supernatural.”
“It is.”
Liam walked up and looked at the house. “Why was Theo here?”
Stiles looked to Liam. “You know this how?”
“I smell his scent here. It’s stronger because I think he was in werewolf form. Is he still here? Why would he be at Y/n’s house?” Liam asked as he walked towards the house.
“Damn, I really didn’t know you could smell people like that as a werewolf.” Mason muttered.
Lydia’s car pulled up and she jumped out, with Kira in toe.
“Well, I guess the whole pack in involved now. Where’s Malia?” Stiles saw a little humor in this.
“I’m here.” She said stepping up to the group.
“Alright, well follow me. Let’s see if you can find anything that will tell us where she is.” Stiles looked to his dad, who nodded and told them they could head inside. Parish stood on the side, knowing just why everyone was here.
They crept through the house, until they stopped in the kitchen. Once again Stiles was faced with the pile of glass that was accompanied by smeared blood. He just knew it was hers.
“Yeah, Theo’s definitely been here.” Liam said as he looked at the glass and blood.
“That’s Y/n’s.” Malia and Scott confirmed Stiles’ worst fears.
“Damnit.” He said, while the panic started to bubble up again.
“Hey no, Stiles, calm down. We’re going to find her. I promise.” Scott knew his friend was freaking out and hoped this could calm him.
Stiles really hoped they could find her. She was so important to him, and she didn’t even realize it.
“Now why would Theo be here?” Scott hadn’t quite caught on. Everyone looked at him in surprise because he hadn’t figured it out.
“Theo was the one who took her.” He broke the news to his best friend.
Scott was taken off guard. “What? That’s impossible. Theo isn’t like that at all.”
Lydia stepped up. “He actually is. He was threatening her earlier after school. He’s been blackmailing her.”
Stiles wasn’t surprised to hear that, but it made him angrier.
“Blackmailing her about what?” Scott sounded so confused.
“About her feelings for Stiles.”
“Oh.” He was silent as he mulled over what had been said.
“Does anyone hear that?” Malia was looking out into the backyard.
“Hear what.” The two wolves asked as they finally tuned into the sound.
“What is that?” Liam asked.
“I don’t know.” Before anyone could stop her, Malia jumped over the glass and blood and ran into the backyard. Liam and Scott on her heels.
Lydia, Mason, Kira, and Stiles followed after the bunch, making sure to not disturb the glass. Their friends led them to the back alley. Malia wandered over to something and picked it up. She held up a phone. Y/n’s phone.
The phone was cracked but you could see there were several missed calls and texts. Stiles saw his own texts on her phone. She’d never gotten around to reading them.
“Someone needs to get in touch with Theo. If he’s behind this, we need to stop him and find her.” Stiles hated that Scott was still refusing to believe Theo could do this, but at least he agreed he needed to be investigated.
Liam pulled out his phone and sent the guy a text. Meanwhile Stiles felt like he was losing his mind. He wracked his brain for all the possible places Theo would take her. He had no clue where he could find her.
The pack headed back to the front yard, where Sheriff Stilinski and Deputy Parish were waiting for any source of information. They were quickly brought up to speed with what the pack now knew and a plan was in the works.
****
Pain radiated in your body as you started to come around. As you tried to move your limbs, you quickly realized you were bound to a chair. Testing the rope, you found the knots were way too tight for you to get out of. You then tried to move your feet but realized they had been bound too.
“You’re finally awake.” Theo said from behind you. “I was starting to think I did too much damage.”
The sound of his voice angered you. You attempted to move your head to look at him, but pain shot through your neck and head, stopping you from looking at him.
“Why did you do it?” Your voice was soft because you were weak from the pain, he’d already inflicted on you.
Theo walked into your vision wearing a wickedly twisted smirk on his annoying face. “I had no choice anymore, Y/n. You refused to do what I asked, and I think it’s because you don’t want me in pack.”
You had to fight not to roll your eyes at the accusation. “Get a life, Theo.”
He didn’t like that and lashed out on you, slapping you across the face with force. Blood went flying as a cut formed on your lip.
“Pathetic.” He hissed. “You’re a pathetic and stupid girl. It seems you also can’t shut your mouth like you’re supposed to.”
“Do you really think I’m going to listen to you? All I see is a jealous man who couldn’t get his way, so he’s taking it out on someone who has no standing to get him what he wants” Of course you shouldn’t talk back to him while he has the upper hand, but you were sick of allowing him to intimidate you.
He stayed eerily calm. “I’m sorry.” He said.
“What are you sorry about? None of your actions show you are actually sorry for who you have become.” Maybe if you made him feel something, he would stop.
“I’m sorry because I didn’t want to actually do this.” He stated with the most serious face.
“It’s too late. You’ve already kidnapped me and now you’re trying to beat me into submission. You’re out of your mind Theo.”
“Okay, I admit mistakes were made in this. But you have to see my point of view.” The fact that he was so calm about this was scary.
You were going to respond when Theo’s phone started ringing. “Hold that thought.” He said as he pulled it from his pocket and answered it. “Hello?” He was quiet as he listened to the caller.
“Hey Theo, what’s going on? Do you know where Y/n is?”
“What, Y/n’s missing? I don’t know anything about that.” Silence again.
“Sure, then why were you at her house tonight?”
“Yeah, I was at her house, but that’s because we had a project to work on.”
“Oh okay. Was she acting off when you were there?”
At this point you were going to scream to get whoever was on the phone’s attention. Theo knew this. He pulled the phone away from his mouth. “Don’t you dare, bitch.” He whispered before listening to the phone again.
“Well, no, she was fine. If she’s missing, I don’t know anything about that. Are you sure she didn’t just run away?” Theo suggested like they would actually believe him.
“Why would she run away though?”
“I mean she could have. She’s been talking about how much she hates it in Beacon Hills. It wouldn’t surprise me if she staged her disappearance.”
“That’s weird to say. I have never seen her act like that.”
You had enough and yelled out. “Please stop this!”
“What was that?”
Theo wasn’t having this and lunged forward and grabbed your neck, squeezing and cutting you off. With his hand on your throat, you couldn’t speak.
“What? Oh, that was just the TV. I’m watching a horror movie.” He was so fucking nonchalant about it. “Let me know how I can help.” He watched you as you struggled against his chokehold.
“Can you meet up with us? At the junkyard?”
“Sure, I can meet you there. See you soon.” He hung up the phone and looked livid.
The hand on your throat tightened and you started to struggle to breath now. He held you in that position to the point where you felt you would pass out before finally letting go. You took a deep breath as he stood in front of you.
“Next time you won’t be so lucky.” He turned away and walked to the other end of the room where an old cabinet was located. He opened it and pulled out a roll of duct tape. “I can’t have you able to scream now, can I?” He pulled off a stripe and walked back to you. He shoved it on your mouth while you glared at him.
“Now, I’m off to go convince my new pack that they are better off without you. Stay here and don’t do anything.” He laughed manically. “Oh, that’s right, you can’t.” He strolled to the door before stopping and turning back to you.
You sat there watching him as he reached out and caressed your face. “You don’t know how pathetic you actually are. Loving a guy who would never look at you like that in a million years. That must be hard, huh? You know I saw the text he sent to you.” He laughed. “It’s probably good that you didn’t read it. He was telling you how much he loved Lydia and how she was the most perfect person for him.” Theo looked so deranged.
If you weren’t tied up, you would have tried to slap the look right off his fucking face.
“I could just imagine how hard that would have been for you to read. Loving someone so much, only for them not to notice you like that at all. It puts you in a place of complete solitude. Doesn’t it feel good being used and abused by your so-called friends time and time again?” He just wouldn’t shut up.
“That being said. It’s going to be so easy to get the pack to forget about you.” He looked like pure evil now. “Anyway, have some fun. I need to go get cleaned up. I wouldn’t want to show up covered in your blood.” Theo finally left, leaving you alone with your thoughts.
Tears welled up in your eyes as you thought about the words he just said. Was he right? Would the pack just so easily forget about you? Would they believe Theo when he tells them you just ran away? Were you ever going to get out of this? Please, you hoped to god they would realize what a liar Theo was.
Once you calmed down, you looked around the space he’d tied you up in. It was an old building that was clearly falling apart. In the corner, a ceiling was on its way down. In front of you was a badly broken door. A chain link fence was next to the door. What was this place? Hopefully, you were still in Beacon Hills.
****
When Theo didn’t answer the text, Liam decided he would call him. Theo answered right away.
“Hey Theo, what’s going on? Do you know where Y/n is?” His reply came out odd. The phone was on speaker so that the rest of the pack could hear it.
“What, Y/n’s missing? I don’t know anything about that.”
“Sure, then why were you at her house tonight?”
“Yeah, I was at her house, but that’s because we had a project to work on.”
Theo’s tone was off. Stiles was standing there, looking like he was about to lose it. “Oh okay. Was she acting off when you were there?” Of course, Liam now knew Theo was lying but they needed to catch him and so they had to pretend they didn’t know his lies. That was hard for Stiles to do.
“Well, no, she was fine. If she’s missing, I don’t know anything about that. Are you sure she didn’t just run away?”
“Why would she run away though?” This train of thought for Theo was not well thought out.
“I mean she could have. She’s been talking about how much she hates it in Beacon Hills. It wouldn’t surprise me if she staged her disappearance.”
“Oh, he’s so dead.” Stiles whispered, looking like he wanted to pounce on the guy. Everyone knew that Y/n wouldn’t do something like he was suggesting.
“That’s weird to say. I have never seen her act like that.” Liam said. They listened when a female voice cut through. “Please stop this!” It stopped as soon as it started. But there was no mistake that it was Y/n.
Once again Stiles was getting ready to pummel the guy on the phone.
“What was that?” Liam asked trying to seem like they didn’t know exactly who they heard.
“What? Oh, that was just the TV. I’m watching a horror movie.” Bullshit. “Let me know how I can help.”
“Can you meet up with us? At the junkyard?” The pack nodded in agreement.
“Sure, I can meet you there. See you soon.” Theo hung up the phone, leaving the pack looking absolutely mad.
“He has her!” Stiles yelled. “We have to get her back.”
“Calm down, we’re going to get her back. We just have to play nice in order to know where he’s keeping her. I promise you; we’re getting her back soon.” Scott tried to calm his angry friend.
“We can’t let him get to us like this. Theo is trying to get into our heads and we’re not going to let him. In order to get to her, we need to earn his trust.” Lydia rationed.
“I don’t care about earning his trust, I just need to know where Y/n is. She’s in danger because of him and he’s acting like he has nothing to do with it.”
“I know he is, but we really need to approach this lightly. What if he has someone else working with him?”
That was a good point, but Stiles didn’t feel like there was anyone else working for him. Theo just didn’t feel like the type who would enjoy someone else helping him with his crimes.
“Fine, let’s go.”
“Wait, we should inform your dad and Parish. We may need them.” Lydia said and she was right. So, Stiles and Scott went to talk to Sheriff Stilinski and Deputy Parish about what was happening. His dad agreed that they would stand by in case they were needed.
The pack all got into their cars and headed to the junkyard across town. Malia had hopped into Stiles’ jeep since she had basically run to Y/n’s house. She studied Stiles as he drove in silence.
“So how long have you been in love with Y/n?” She asked as she finished her analyzation.
Stiles glanced over at her. He wasn’t all that keen on talking about this with his ex-girlfriend. Would she freak out if he told her that his feelings for Y/n preceded their relationship?
She rolled her eyes at his hesitance. “Just spill. I promise I’m not going to get mad. We both know our relationship wasn’t really something that would last.”
“I’ve liked her for maybe two years. It’s hard to really know because she’s been in my life for so long. I’ve always loved her as a friend, but it definitely grew into something more two years ago.” He admitted, once again glancing over to her. She was not angry it seemed.
“Naturally. I mean we can all see it. Before you ask, yes I saw it when we were together, but it truly doesn’t bother me?”
“Why?”
“Like I said, I knew our relationship wasn’t ever going to be something that lasted long.” She was so unaffected.
He shook his head. “You astound me, Malia. I’m happy we can still be friends.”
She cracked a smile. “I feel the same, Stilinski. Now when we find Y/n, you are going to tell her how you feel. Because if you don’t me and Lydia are going to tell her for you.”
“You wouldn’t.”
“We would. We just want the two of you to finally realize that you’re meant to be.” Malia really was a smart woman. She knew what she needed to do, and she was more than willing to help Stiles find his happiness.
They were a block away from the junk yard. “Wait, when did you stop loving Lydia?”
This caught Stiles off guard. “Um, well.” He was sort of speechless as he tried to figure out when exactly he’d known his feelings for Lydia were not what he thought they were. “Okay, it basically happened when I realized my feelings for Y/n. Lydia was with Jackson and something just clicked when I was spending time with Y/n. I realized that I was happy around her and that she made me feel loved without having to try.”
“That’s so sweet.”
“Since when do you find that kind of stuff sweet?”
Malia chuckled. “Good point, but I have my moments.”
“Yeah, you do.”
“Hey, did you know Lydia has a thing for Parish?” Malia said offhandedly.
“I didn’t. How do you know this?”
“She’s been talking about him a lot lately. Whenever I mention his name, she blushes.”
“That’s funny. We will have to bug her about it later.” Stiles parked his car on the street. Scott, Liam, Mason, Lydia, and Kira all pulled up behind him. “Right now, we have to get this idiot to talk.”
“We will. Don’t worry.” Malia flashed her claws out as she said this.
The pack entered the junk yard, all prepared for a fight. They knew he wouldn’t go down without a fight, so they had to prepare for it. As they walked farther through the junk yard, they could see Theo resting against an old car.
“Hey guys.” His voice was calm. Too calm.
Everyone stopped in front of him. It was clear that he was outnumbered but he didn’t seem to care. He thought he could manipulate them into believing he was innocent. But they already knew he wasn’t.
“Would you care to explain yourself?” Stiles kept his voice controlled but he just wanted to yell at Theo.
Theo shrugged and laughed. “Explain what? You guys asked me to come here.”
Scott stood in front, so he could lead the conversation. They figured he could remain level-headed enough to get the information they needed. “Why were you really at Y/n’s house?” He asked.
“I told Liam. I had to work on a project with her. I’m not sure why you don’t believe me.” Despite being defensive, Theo was still calm.
“We know what you told him, but your scent was way too strong to be there for what you claim. You were in werewolf mode.” Liam stated.
This made Theo laugh. “You know this how?”
“Your scent is stronger in werewolf mode.” Mason stated what Liam had said earlier.
“You all really think I have something to do with Y/n’s disappearance? Come on Scott, you know me better than that.” There he was, trying to play on emotions.
Scott growled. “I apparently don’t know you at all.”
“Why so rude? I did nothing wrong.”
Stiles was done holding back. He stepped up in front of Scott. “Cut the crap, we know you took her. We heard her on the phone. Where is she?” He was getting dangerously close to Theo.
“Calm down Stiles. I don’t have a clue where she is. She wasn’t with me when you called.” Theo smirked like he had won.
That was the breaking point, Stiles jumped forward and pinned him against the car he has been leaning on. “Where the hell are you keeping, Y/n? You are going to tell us before we cage your stupid werewolf ass.” The anger was flowing through him, adrenaline helping Stiles keep Theo pinned against the car.
“Wow you’re really losing it. All for a pathetic girl. Stiles you could do better. You should do better, Y/n is nothing but a weak little human.” Theo spat those words out.
“Shut the hell up.” Stiles snapped back. Theo grew agitated and Scott and Liam stepped up to take hold of the wolf, telling Stiles to back off.
“You know. I had so much fun bruising her. She cried a lot but damn that was music to my ears.” The grin in Theo’s face was sick.
“You’re disgusting. Shut up and just tell up where she is.” Malia spat with pure anger at the man who just admitted to hurting her friend.
“Oh what? Did I make the little werecoyote upset? I fucking loved it. It was the most satisfying thing I have ever done.”
“Shut up.” The things Theo kept saying were pissing Scott off. “Now, you’re going to tell us where you are keeping her or else you will face pain.”
“Like you could hurt me. Scotty boy couldn’t hurt a fly.” Cocky bastard was smiling.
“Where’s the taser?” He asked when Kira pulled it from behind her back.
“That’s not going to hurt me.”
“Oh really?” Malia took the taser from Kira and started it up. “Because I think you’re going to regret your words.” She walked up to Theo. Scott and Liam let go of him while she shoved the taser into his side. He screamed as the electricity tortured him. The pack has managed to double the tasers power.
Theo continued to scream before falling to his knees while the taser was still on him. “Stop!” He yelled.
“Awe, was that too much for little Theo?” Malia was taunting him.
Theo growled as his wolf came to the surface. His eyes glowed blue, alerting the pack of his status.
“Who’d you kill?” Malia had taken charge.
“Fuck you.” Theo spat before Malia shoved the taser back onto him. He growled as the electric shocks subdued him.
“She’s in the old electrical building on the other side of the preserve.” He cried out before the taser was shoved back on him.
Malia turned to Stiles and Lydia. “Go find her. We will take care of him.”
Stiles didn’t need to be told twice. He took one last look at the crumbled Theo before walking towards Roscoe. Lydia tossed Kira her keys before rushing after Stiles. It was time to save their friend.
His focus was solely on the road as they headed off to where Theo said he was keeping her. With how fast Stiles was driving, they would arrive in less than five minutes.
“Stiles, are you okay?” Lydia questioned when she noticed how hard he was gripping the steering wheel.
He sighed. “I want to kill Theo but more than that, I just want to save Y/n and tell her how I feel.”
“That’s what we’re doing. She’s going to be okay. I just know it.”
“Maybe so, but I should have protected her better than I did.”
“We all feel that way, but we didn’t know Theo would lose his mind like that. But we can’t blame ourselves. All we can do is save her and then make him pay.” Lydia was right of course, but he still felt responsible.
They pulled up beside the building. The two rushed from the jeep and up to the electrical building. Dim lights lit their way. Stiles wasted no time to push open the door. When he did, the sight in front of him broke his heart.
Y/n was bound to a chair with duct tape over her mouth. Her eyes widened in surprise when she saw who was there. She had not expected them to find her. In fact, she’d been pretty sure that Theo was going to come back and finish her off before they found her.
The two of them rushed forward. Stiles gently ripped the tape from her mouth, even though he was gentle, it still stung. Lydia was already working on untying the ropes that kept her bound to the chair. Stiles quickly jumped in and helped her. Two minutes later, they had Y/n unbound.
“Thank god we found you, Y/n. I don’t know what I would have done if we couldn’t get to you.” Stiles said as he took in all the possible injuries. “What did he do to you?” He noticed the cuts, some which still had glass embedded in them. He also saw the busted lip, that was already bruising.
“He threw a glass vase at me. But then he threw me into the ground which knocked me out. I woke up bound to this chair with him looking like a crazy lunatic.” She explained as the pain finally hit her now that the adrenaline was starting to fade.
Stiles looked pissed. “Oh, I want to kill him.” He mumbled, looking towards the door.
“No Stiles. Scott and the others will handle him. Right now, we need to get Y/n out of here.” Lydia brought some sense back into him and he agreed.
“How did you find me?” Y/n questioned looking between the two.
“We got Theo to spill before Scott, Liam, and Malia decided to teach him a lesson.” Lydia explained.
A thought hit her. “Did Malia use the taser on him?”
Stiles looked surprised. “How did you know we had that?”
“Malia was talking about it a couple weeks ago. She said she would happily use it on anyone who messed with her friends.” Now that she thinks about it, Malia completely considered Y/n her friend. So did Lydia. Perhaps she was a part of the pack after all.
“Yeah, she tortured him with it. That’s how we got him to talk.”
“Good, he deserves it.”
They both agreed before realizing they needed to get her out of there and to the hospital to get looked at. Stiles didn’t waste a moment before grabbing her and pulling her into his arms. Y/n had been taken off guard by this, but she knew she couldn’t fight it. Her body was way too sore for her to attempt to walk herself.
The two pack members brought her to Stiles’ jeep. Lydia hopped into the back, while Stiles placed Y/n in the passenger seat. He jumped into the car and was quick to drive away from the place Theo had kept her captive.
“So, Theo broke into your house?” Lydia asked as Stiles focused on getting them to the hospital.
“Yes, I had set the alarm and everything, but he didn’t seem to care.”
Stiles grumbled. “Yeah, he broke down your back door. Before you ask, yes, we went to your house.” He reached into the console and pulled up a familiar object. Y/n’s phone. Something she didn’t even realize she didn’t have. The screen was really badly cracked, making her frown. “Don’t worry, we will replace it.” His voice was calming her.
****
You reached the hospital and Stiles jumped out and quickly retrieved you from the passenger side. He started carrying you towards the entrance, Lydia wasn’t far behind. Entering the hospital, Scott’s mom was already waiting.
“Bring her in here.” She led the group to a room and Stiles placed you on the vacant bed. “What happened?”
Stiles looked to you for permission to tell her, you nodded in acceptance. You were way too exhausted to recall the whole story yourself.
“Theo kidnapped her and tortured her. Basically, all because he wanted to be a part of the pack.” The explanation was quick and to the point.
Mrs. McCall started checking the cuts and saw the glass. She pulled on a pair of gloves. “Theo Raeken? Wow, he doesn’t seem like he’d be the type to do this.” She grabbed a pair of tweezers that looked sterile. “I’m going to have to get the glass out, this may sting but once it’s out we can start assessing the damage for deep cuts and get you cleaned up.”
“Well, you’d be surprised how much Theo has changed. He’s become a real issue.” Stiles growled. The distaste clear.
You winced when she started pulling the glass from the cuts. Stiles saw this and jumped forward to grab your hand. Each time she pulled a piece out, your grip tightened with the sharp pain. It took about five minutes for her to get all the glass that had embedded itself into you face, neck, chest, and upper arms.
“Okay, the glass is all gone. I see at least two cuts that will need stitches. But I need to clean them up to accurately see the rest.” She went back to the supplies and gathered what she would need to clean up the cuts. “Does Scott have Theo?”
“He does. Sheriff Stilinski is also there.” Lydia said from across the room. “Actually, Malia is calling me now. I will be back.” She left the room.
Silence filled the air as Mrs. McCall cleaned up the cuts. You happily gripped Stiles’ hand. He was comforting you and he must have known that it was what you really needed right now.
“Alright, we only need to stitch up two cuts. One above your eyebrow and one on your jaw. Any other pain?”
“Yes, my head is throbbing. He threw me to the ground.”
She nodded. “We will check for a concussion and keep you overnight. Well, it’s nearly morning, but you know what I mean.” You nodded hoping that you didn’t have a concussion. That was not something you wanted to deal with right now.
Once again, the silence took over as Mrs. McCall stitched up the cuts. Stiles was still gripping your hand, soothingly squeezing it every once in a while. After that was done, Mrs. McCall said she had to check on her other patients, but she’d be back to check on your head. This left you and Stiles alone.
He was still gripping your hand. It felt like he didn’t want to let go; in fear you would disappear if he did.
“Thank you for finding me, Stiles.” You gained his attention and he looked up at you. His eyes were glassy, showing the boy was clearly still upset.
“I’m sorry I ever let Theo get that close. Shit, I should have known he would plan something like that.” He said with a frown.
“Oh Stiles, none of that was your fault. Not at all. Theo is a twisted individual. He would have done anything to get himself into Scott’s pack.” Which was the truth, but you also didn’t want Stiles to beat himself up over this.
He nodded and looked down to your intertwined hands. “I know he was blackmailing you. He’s such a slime ball.”
“Oh yes, he was blackmailing me.” You hoped he didn’t know why.
Suddenly Stiles was blushing. “I know why he was too.”
Now your face was heating up in embarrassment. Did Theo tell him? Damn it. Now you have face Stiles telling you he doesn’t feel the same about you. You didn’t respond because there was nothing you could say to him.
“Y/n, I like you too. Well actually I love you. I really really do. When I found out you were missing, I was a total wreck. I thought I would never be able to tell you how I feel.”
Your eyes raised to meet Stiles’. Did he really just say that? Maybe you did have a concussion.
“What did you just say?” Your voice was small, in fear that you’d make an even bigger fool of yourself.
“I love you, Y/n Y/l/n. I love you so much. You’re the only girl I can really see myself with.”
This was unreal. “Impossible. Are you joking with me?”
He shook his head and pulled his phone from his pocket. “No, I even sent you a text spilling my feelings. You never got to read it, but I did send it.” He pulled up the messages and handed you the phone.
Stiles: I have been meaning to tell you, but I really really like you. Like more than a friend. Shit, I love you. Yes, I love you Y/n Y/m/n Y/l/n. So much. I know I said for years that I was in love with Lydia, but I’m not. She doesn’t really compare to you, in fact she’s better off being my friend. Damn it. I love you and I have for a while now. I know what you feel for me because I just could tell and well Scott figured it out and pointed it out to me. You deserve to know, and I hope this makes you happy.
Tears pricked your eyes. Happy tears. This wasn’t something you could have expected to happen. Especially not with what lies Theo was feeding to you.
“Oh my god, Stiles. I love you too. I have for such a long time. I never said anything because you have always loved Lydia and then you were with Malia.”
Stiles smiled. “I’m glad you can finally tell me. There were so many times I almost slipped and spilled it all when we were together. Y/n, will you be my girlfriend?”
You smiled and reached up, pulling his head down to yours and nodded. “Yes, I will.” You sealed it with a kiss which Stiles so happily reciprocated. His lips fit perfectly against yours. It was pure magic.
“Finally!” Someone said from the doorway. We separated to see Lydia standing there with a big smile on her face. “I was seriously going to tell Y/n if you didn’t, Stiles.”
“I’m glad I did it then.” He turned back and kissed you again. You loved the sparks that seemed to appear when he kissed you.
“I hate to break it up, but I just got off the phone with Malia and Scott.”
“And?” Stiles asked, not letting go of your hand.
She walked into the room and shut the door behind her. “Well Scott and Liam taught him a lesson before your dad showed up and arrested Theo. He’s being held at the station. Your dad is going to keep him there until we know what to do with him.” She explained.
“I want to punch him.” You mumbled.
Stiles chuckled. “How about I punch him for you?”
You liked the sound of that. “Okay, that is something I can deal with. As long as he learns a lesson.”
“Oh, he will.” Lydia felt relieved to know they saved you and they would be handling Theo. It was still horrible what you had gone through, and she was kicking herself for not realizing Theo would do something like this.
Mrs. McCall entered the room. “Let’s check that head of yours.” She said as she started her examination for a concussion. “Okay, you may have a mild concussion, but you’re going to be okay. We want to keep you for a bit. You should be able to go home tomorrow.” With that, she left you to rest.
Lydia was quietly waiting. “Kira’s going to pick me up. Are you going to be okay?”
You smiled at her. “Yes, thank you Lydia. You’re the best.” You were grateful that she’d been there when Theo was threatening you earlier. If she hadn’t, well you didn’t know if they would have known Theo was the one who kidnapped you. Lydia smiled before leaving.
This left you and Stiles alone now. He was quietly studying you. His eyes lingered on the bruises that were becoming visible on your skin.
“What’s on your mind?” You asked.
He looked up. “I’m just fantasizing how I will punch Theo and make him pay.” This made you giggle.
“I love that. But you look tired.” He really did. It looked like Stiles hadn’t slept in a few days, which had to have been the stress of you going missing.
“I am. I was freaking out about you going missing.” He admitted while taking hold of your hand again.
You smiled up at him. “I appreciate what you did for me, Stiles.”
“It really was all Scott.”
“You had a huge hand in finding me. You’re the one who initiated it.”
“How do you know that?”
“Well, I know you, Stiles. You are the first one to show up at every scene. I could also see it in your eyes when you found me.”
“Yes, my dad got a call to your house. I had to go.”
You really loved this boy. “Thank you.” You squeezed his hand. “Now I know we haven’t really made anything official yet, I was wondering if you’d cuddle me?” Your cheeks heated up.
“Are you sure that’s okay?”
“Of course. People do it all the time.”
He chuckled. “No, I mean, I don’t want to hurt you.”
“Ah, you won’t. In fact, it may even help me heal faster.”
“I’m not a werewolf, I couldn’t do that.”
“Just cuddle me please?” You pouted your lip in hopes to convince him.
“Of course.” Stiles pulled off his jacket and put it on the couch. Then he removed his shoes. He gently climbed in bed beside you, wrapping you up in his comforting arms. He made you feel so safe. You drifted off to sleep with a smile on hour face and the feeling of true contentment.
**
“I take it he finally told her how he feels?” Someone’s voice woke you from your sleep.
“He did. I was almost positive he was going to confess to her when we first found her.” The reply made the first person chuckle.
“I’m proud of him. He’s kept it in for so long. He deserves to be happy.” Someone else chimed in.
“So, you’re really okay with your ex moving on?”
“Of course. He and I are better as friends, and we all know that.”
It felt wrong to listen in on the conversation, so you decided it was time to actually wake up. You cracked open your eyes to see Scott, Lydia, and Malia standing by the end of the bed. Malia was the first person to notice.
“Good afternoon sleepy head.” She stated with a smile. You looked to find Stiles still fast asleep beside you. His arms were still tightly wound around your body.
“Hi guys. What time is it?” You noticed it was sunny out.
“Around 2.” Scott stated.
Damn, you slept for a long time.
“Damn, that was a lot of sleep.”
“Well, you deserved it. After what went down last night.” Lydia said. “Oh, before I forget. Your parents called me. I filled them in on the break in. I didn’t say anything about the kidnapping, I didn’t want them to worry too much.”
In all of this, you’d forgotten to call your parents. Damn.
“Thank you, Lydia. You’re the best.” Next to you, Stiles groaned before his eyes popped open. He took a look around the room and smiled.
“Hi guys.” His arms still were wrapped around you.
“Someone was tired.” Scott teased, as they took in the messy head of hair Stiles had.
Stiles shrugged. “You would be too if you thought you had lost the girl you loved. Just having her in my arms helped.”
Hearing him say that warmed your heart. You smiled over at him, wanting nothing more than to kiss him and show him just how much you appreciate him.
“Damn, I didn’t realize my best friend was such a sap.” Scott said, making us all laugh. It didn’t seem to bother Stiles at all.
The door opened and Mrs. McCall popped into the room. “Good afternoon, Y/n. How are we feeling?” She asked as she went over the vitals.
“I feel better. I mean I am still sore, but my head definitely feels better.” There was no longer an excruciating pain in your head. It was a dull ache now.
“That’s a good sign. That means it was a very mild concussion. From the look of things, we can release you now. But you need to rest and take it easy for the next week or so. That way everything can heal up nicely.” She explained. You frowned when you remembered your parents wouldn’t be back home until Tuesday. It was Saturday. “I will go get the discharge papers.” She left us again.
“What’s wrong Y/n?” Stiles saw the way your facial expression changed.
“My parents aren’t going to be home for another couple of days.” You said softly.
He realized immediately why you were so upset. “Don’t worry, I’m positive my dad will let you stay at our house.”
“Would he really?” You really hoped he would cause you knew staying alone was not at all good for you right now.
“Of course. I can call him if that makes you feel better?”
“Yes, please. Then I need to call my parents.”
Lydia was quick to pull her phone out. “Use my phone.”
Stiles smiled and kissed your cheek before excusing himself to call his dad. You dialed your parents while Malia and Scott followed Stiles. Your parents were so relieved to hear you were okay, again you didn’t want them to know you’d been kidnapped. They agreed you should stay with someone; they didn’t want you alone at the house after what happened.
Sheriff Stilinski was more than happy to have you stay over, knowing that being alone in a house after a break in was not an easy thing to do. Stiles just wanted to protect you no matter what, so he was happy to have you come home with him. The two of you wasted too much time not telling each other how you feel, so you needed to make up for all the time you lost, and you knew you would.

Solitude - Part One | Stiles Stilinski
Title: Solitude – Part One of Two
Pairing: Stiles x Reader
Summary: Y/ns in love with Stiles, but he loves Lydia, or that’s what he’s been saying forever now. Theo see’s this and decides to take advantage of Y/n and blackmail her. All the while, no one actually knows how Stiles feels. Not until the Y/n is in desperate need of help from Stiles and Scott.
Word Count: 5.8k
Notes: I’m just sitting there scrolling through Pinterest, listening to nostalgic songs when this song hits me. It’s called ‘Solitude’ by Amy Lee and the tone is unrequited love. So, angst central. Then I come across Stiles and my brain goes why don’t you write some angst about Stiles and the reader. Now of course it will not end on an angsty note. So yes, the reader gets to be happy.
In this fic, Chimera’s were a thing, but Theo never created the beast. He’s just a really annoying asshole who is still trying to get into Scott’s pack in any way he can.

Once again it happened. You zoned out staring at the guy you’ve basically loved for an awfully long time. You did all this while Kira was talking about the date her, and Scott had the night before. Of course, you didn’t mean to zone out on her, but your eyes just found him in the crowd of people, and you couldn’t look away.
He wasn’t looking your way. He was sitting beside the girl he was in love with and his best friend, and they must have been talking about something important, because the conversation looked serious.
“Did you hear what I said, Y/n?” Kira asked when she finally noticed you weren’t paying attention.
This made you snap out of it. “I’m sorry Kira, I didn’t mean to zone out on you like that.”
“You’ve been doing that a lot lately. Is everything okay?” She asked with full concern.
Of course, it wasn’t okay. The boy you loved would never love you back. He would always strictly see you as just a friend of his. Nothing more. But she didn’t need to know. In fact, no one knew you were in love with Stiles. You’d kept it to yourself for as long as you knew you were in love with him.
“Yeah, I’m okay. I think I’m studying way too late at night. I don’t get enough sleep.” You admitted, even though that was not the reason you didn’t get sleep but again, she didn’t have to know that. You forced yourself to look away from Stiles and focus on Kira and the conversation the two of you had been having before he distracted you.
“You work way too hard, Y/n. You need to take a break.” She stated as the doors to the library opened, and someone walked into the room. You found Theo walking into the library, with a disgusting little smirk on his face. Glancing over at Stiles, you could see him frowning when Theo joined him, Scott, and Lydia.
“Maybe I do.” You admitted, watching Stiles as he endured Theo’s presence. As you watched Stiles, Theo’s eyes flashed to you, and he noticed you were staring at Stiles. A wicked grin graced his face when he put it all together. You quickly looked away, hoping he didn’t figure out what you were trying to keep secret.
“I have the perfect way for you to do that. Lydia is having a party tonight. I know you don’t like to party, but you really should come and let loose for a little.” Kira explained, as her eyes found Scott coming towards the two of you. Her eyes lit up at the sight of her boyfriend. Behind him, Stiles was pulling Lydia away from Theo and out of the room.
Jealousy bloomed deep in your chest.
“Did Kira tell you about the party tonight?” Scott asked as he leaned down in front of Kira, giving her love eyes.
“She did.” You confirmed, looking away from the couple. You hated being the single lonely one of the group. It really sucked to watch everyone be all over each other. Of course, Stiles hasn’t told Lydia his feelings yet, but it was only a matter of time before he did.
“Well, are you coming?” Scott asked, finally looking over at you.
“Umm, I don’t know. You know I hate parties.” You mumbled, seeing Theo still sitting at the table Scott had just left. His eyes were on your table. When he knew you were watching, he sent you a wink before he got up and walked away.
“No, you have to come. I promise you will have fun. But you have to come.” Kira begged.
You sighed. “Okay, I will go. But don’t expect me to stay long.” Almost immediately, you regretted agreeing to come. But maybe you could let loose for the night and forget about the bitter feelings that filled you when you watched Stiles talking to Lydia. Shit, this was not normal.
“Yay!” Kira hugged you happily. “You’re not going to regret coming to this party!”
****
Fuck. You regretted coming to this party. Here you were, dressed up and all that, and no one had even taken notice of you, not even Kira. She’d been wrapped up in Scott when you arrived. There was no reason for you to be here.
Sighing, you went and poured yourself another drink. The drinks helped a little, but they didn’t truly stop the regret you felt for coming.
Across the yard, Stiles was next to Lydia. They were deep in conversation, so they didn’t seem to pay attention to anyone else. It looked like he was spilling his feelings for her. Lovely.
“You look like you’re having a lot of fun.” Someone asked from beside you. You turned to them and groaned. It was Theo.
“What do you want?” You asked knowing he had something up his sleeve.
He laughed. “Why do I have to want something?”
“I know you Theo, you are planning something.” You turned away from the scene in front of you, to fill your drink.
“My my, someone is sounding a lot like Stiles over there.” His tone was taunting.
“Because he knows what he’s talking about when it comes to you.”
“Calm down, little Y/n. Let’s have a chat.”
You rolled your eyes. “No, I’m good.” As you turned to walk away, he grabbed your wrist in a tight hold.
You tried to pull yourself from his grip, but the asshole was strong. “No, I really think we should have a little conversation about your secret.”
“You don’t know what you’re talking about. Now let me go.” Once again you struggled to get out of his hold, but he pulled you back with force.
“Oh, so little miss Y/n doesn’t have a huge crush on Stiles over there.” He nodded in the direction where Stiles was.
“What? No! You don’t know what you’re talking about. Stop!”
Despite telling him to stop, he only pulled you closer. “Now now, perhaps we should go somewhere a little less public.” Theo took hold of your body and yanked you away from the party. You dropped your drink on the ground in the process.
Theo dragged you to the alley between Lydia and her neighbor’s house. You still struggled to get away from him. He shoved you against the wall and placed his hands on either side of you, trapping you against the wall.
“What the fuck are you doing?” You tried to shove him away from you, but the douchebag was strong.
“Listen here, Y/n. You’re going to help me get into Scott’s pack. Tell him I’m good and worthy for a spot in the pack.” He growled, face close to yours.
“Why the hell would I do that?”
A demented little smirk graced his evil face. “Well Y/n. If you don’t help me, get into the pack, you’re little crush on Stiles is gonna get spilled in front of everyone at school.” This asshole. “Do you want that to happen? Would you like me to embarrass you in front of the whole school and Stiles?” He taunted you, holding your love for Stiles over you.
“No, please don’t do that. I’m begging you!” You hated that Theo was evil enough to pull you into blackmail.
“So, are you going to help me get into Scott’s pack?”
You turned your head away from him and nodded. He didn’t like that and jerked your head back to look at him.
“What was that? You need to use your words, Y/n. I need you to say it out loud.” He was holding your head in position to look at him. His grip was borderline bruising.
“Yes Theo, I will help you get into Scott’s pack.” You mumbled begrudgingly.
“Good girl. Now do what you’re told, and we won’t have any problems. You have a week to do this for me.” He then pushed you away from him, making you fall to the ground surprised at the unexpected move. “Pick yourself up, you look pathetic.” He spat as he walked over you and left you in the alleyway, absolutely terrified of his power.
The fall had caused you to scrape your knee. A dribble of red liquid could be seen on the torn-up knee. Fuck Theo Raeken.
Joining the party again, you were more than ready to leave. Theo’s threat loomed in the back of your mind as you looked around for your friends.
“There you are Y/n. I’ve been looking all over for you.” Lydia smiled sweetly at you.
“Oh, hey Lydia. Yeah, I promised Kira I would stop by.” Your voice gave away the nerves you felt.
Lydia looked down and noticed your scraped knee. “Are you okay? What happened?” She pointed to the scrape.
Looking down, you assessed the wound. “Oh, it was nothing. I tripped and fell.” You lied, hoping she didn’t catch it.
She knew it was more than just you tripping but she let it slide, she had more important things to do than worry about a small lie you told.
“Alright, well Stiles was looking for you a few minutes ago.” She stated.
Wait really? “Really? Why?”
“He didn’t say. He just asked if I had seen you. I think he went inside; you should go talk to him.” You remembered seeing them in deep conversation, and suddenly you didn’t feel like being here anymore.
“Okay, well I actually think I’m going to head home. Parties aren’t my thing and now I have made a fool of myself. Thanks for the invite.” You quickly said goodbye before dipping from the party.
Lydia stared at you in surprise. She hadn’t expected you to run off the way you had. She sighed and pulled out her phone.
Mission abort. She just rushed out of the party seriously spooked about something.
She looked up to see you gone and out of sight. Something was definitely up, and she was going to find out what.
****
Monday rolled around and you debated skipping school because you didn’t want to face Theo and his demands for you to get him into Scott’s pack. Hell, you weren’t even a part of the pack. How the hell did he expect you to get him into it? Fuck Theo Raeken. He was a weasel.
Walking into school, you found Theo waiting by your locker, evil smirk, and all. Gosh, you really wanted to slap him. You would if he wasn’t a fucking werewolf who could kill you easily.
“Morning, Y/n. Hope the weekend was good.” He sounded like a conceded asshole.
“It was great, thanks for asking.” You pushed him away from your locker. He didn’t appreciate that and took your wrist in his hand.
“Stop with the attitude, little girl. I own you now.” That statement made you cringe hard.
“You don’t own me, please stop.” Could he be anymore full of himself?
He laughed loudly, causing people to stare your way. “I think you forget what I have over you.”
Once you had grabbed your books for class, you slammed your locker shut and turned to face him. “I know fucking well what you have over me, asshole. Now please leave me alone, I have class.” You tried to walk away but once again he had your wrist in his hands. He must love holding you like that.
“Don’t you forget what you have to do. Time is ticking. By Friday I expect a spot in Scott’s pack. If that doesn’t happen, well you can say goodbye to your friends.” His words held a dark connotation to them. You hated to find out what it was.
You groaned and pulled your wrist from his grip. “I got it.” Then you finally walked away from him. You rubbed your wrist because it was sore from Theo gripping it so tightly. Fucking asshole. Of course, he would target you.
You entered class and took a seat in a desk in the back of the room. Out of all the seats, you always preferred he back, that way you could stay out of people’s vision and not be involved in some petty drama. Somehow, you seemed to focus more from the back of the class.
“There you are. What happened to you at the party.” Kira questioned while taking a seat beside you.
You decided you were going to confide in Kira. “Theo happened.” You mumbled.
“Uh oh, what did he do?” Kira knew there was something off with him.
“He cornered me at the party. He was grilling me for information and when I wouldn’t give it to him, he got mad.” Okay maybe you weren’t telling her the whole truth.
“Damn, Stiles is so right about him. Are you okay?” Kira was truly concerned for you, which had you feeling better.
You shrugged. “I’m okay. He pushed me, but that’s about it.”
“What’s his problem? He needs to learn to be nicer. If Scott saw him doing any of that, he’d be upset.”
“Well, he won’t see it. Theo wants to be accepted into the pack and we’re not going to tell Scott what Theo did to me. It’s not important.”
She was confused. “Are you standing up for him? That’s odd.”
“I’m not. At all. I just don’t want Scott to hate me for any reason. I have a tough time making friends as it is.” You really hadn’t mentioned this before.
Kira was shocked to hear this. “Y/n, you do know you are a part of the pack, right? Scott values you in the group. We all do.”
Her words warmed you. “Really? That’s never been the case before.”
“Really. Whatever happened with previous friends, you can forget it. We’re here and we like you a lot.”
You sent her a smile. “Thank you, Kira. You don’t know how much I needed to hear that right now.”
“Of course. You’re my best friend and I want you to know you can trust us.” And you did know that. But you couldn’t tell them Theo was blackmailing you. Not when your feelings for Stiles were on the line.
**
Lunch rolled around and you walked into the cafeteria only to walk back out when you spotted Theo sitting at the table with everyone. You didn’t want to be around him, not now and not ever. So instead of going to lunch, you went to hide in the library.
Putting your bag on the table, you went to search for a book to keep you occupied and help you with your history essay. Skipping lunch was better than willingly subjecting yourself to Theo.
“There you are. I saw you leave the cafeteria.” You looked up to find Stiles watching you from the beginning of the aisle.
“Oh, hey Stiles. Yeah, I’m sorry. I didn’t want to sit at a table with Theo. I’ve had enough of him.” You admitted as you pulled the desired book from the shelf.
Stiles smiled. “Thank god I’m not the only one. The dude has a bad vibe and Scott refuses to believe it.”
“You can say that again. I can’t deal with talking to him anymore. He really gets on my nerves.” Not to mention he gets off on blackmailing people.
Stiles followed you to the table you’d put your bag. He took a seat across from you. “I can’t help but feel there is something else going on that is making you hate Theo.”
The ever-observant Stiles never misses a thing. “You would be right.” You flipped through the book, gauging if it would give you the desired information you needed for your history essay.
“Want to talk about it?”
You looked up to see him watching you. “I do but I can’t. Not yet at least.”
He looked at you with concern. “Is he the reason you left the party so early?”
You nodded.
“Did he hurt you?” Stiles’ eyes zeroed in on your wrist, which was bruised pretty significantly.
“I can’t say. But I’m sure you know the answer.”
He frowned. “So, he caused those bruises then?” He pointed to your wrist.
“Yeah. He was a little to abrasive when talking to me.”
“A little. Y/n, he used a significant amount of strength to cause that. That’s more than a little.”
He was right. “Yes. That is true.”
Stiles looked pissed. “What gives him the right to be that way? I could punch him.”
“Except it would be way more painful for you to punch a werewolf. You don’t have to fight him for my benefit. I’m really not that special.”
“Oh, you’re special to me. I would fight anyone any day for hurting you. They shouldn’t get away with doing that. Theo needs to learn he can’t go around being rough with girls.” Those words were not anything you expected Stiles to say about you.
Your face had heated up at his words. “Thank you, Stiles. I really appreciate that.” The fact that Stiles would willingly fight a werewolf for you, was insane. But your brain told you he would do it for all of his friends.
“I would do anything for you. I missed you at the party. I was so looking forward to talking to you.”
“You didn’t miss much at all. I’m really boring at parties. So, you did the right thing by staying around Lydia.” You don’t know why you were so demeaning to yourself but it’s just how it’s been for a while now.
Stiles reached across the table and took your hand in his. “Please don’t say that about yourself. You’re not boring at all. You just have social anxiety like me.”
What was going on with Stiles? He wasn’t usually this touchy with you. You’d seen it plenty of times when he was around Lydia.
“You’re too nice to me, Stiles.”
“You deserve all the kindness in the world, Y/n. I hate to see you or anyone else bring you down. You deserve to smile and laugh every day.” This boy really was something else.
You so bad wanted to spill your feelings for him at this current moment. There has never been a more perfect time to bring it up. Instead, your brain decided to say the worst thing.
“Like Lydia?”
Shit, you wanted to slap yourself.
He looked confused. “What does Lydia have to do with this?”
“Well, she’s always so upbeat and happy. She never gets dragged down by herself or anyone else. It would be easier if I were like her.” And then maybe you would have a chance with Stiles.
“No, don’t do that. Don’t compare yourself to anyone. You’re perfect in your own way and I prefer you like that any day.”
How was he doing this?
“Gosh you’re perfect Stiles.” You wanted to tell him so bad. “No wonder the pack loves you. You’re the smartest of all of us.” He really was an amazing human. No wonder you liked him so much.
“I may be smart, but you are too. Give yourself some credit, Y/n.” His amber eyes seemed to see into your soul.
“I’m trying.” You said before the two of you were interrupted by the demon himself.
“There you two are. Everyone was wondering where you had disappeared off to.” Theo stood by the table with a creepy smirk as he looked between you and Stiles. “Having fun?”
“Can we help you?” Stiles looked to Theo with a super annoyed expression.
Theo laughed like he has told him a joke. “What are we talking about?”
His behavior was the worst. “It’s none of your business. Please go away.” You said earning a hard glare from him.
“I agree. We really don’t want you in our conversation.” Stiles added.
“Hmmm, what would Scott say about that? I thought you were all about sucking up to Scott and accepting everyone?” There was never a time where Theo wouldn’t be an absolute dick about everything.
You sighed. Your alone time with Stiles was ruined with him here. “Theo, why are you doing this?”
“Well Y/n, I’m quite sure you know why I’m doing this. Have you spoken to Scott today?”
“No, I haven’t seen him yet.” You had to fight to not express just how much you disliked him.
Stiles silently watched the exchange.
“You should get on it, Y/n. Tick tock.” He winked before he left the two of you alone.
“What the hell was that?” Stiles asked, glaring at Theo’s back as he left the library.
The whole exchange had you mortified. “I don’t know. I fucking hate that guy.” You mumbled.
“Me too. Shit, why did it sound like he is blackmailing you?”
“I mean I could say the same with the way he talked to you. That’s like his natural tone.” You were trying to deflect the conversation because Stiles could not know that is exactly what Theo was doing.
He nodded. “You’re right. How does Scott still think he’s good?”
You could hear the frustration Stiles felt when it came to Theo. It made you believe there was something deeper going on between Theo and Stiles, much like what Theo was doing to you.
“I wish I knew.” The bell went off, and we had to head off to class.
“Wait Y/n.” Stiles stopped you before you could leave. “If Theo was blackmailing you, you’d tell me, right?” He knew deep down that there was something Theo was holding over you. He’d gone through the same thing a few months back with the whole Chimera Donovan thing.
“Yes, I trust you a lot, Stiles.” You said, avoiding looking right at him in case he could see the lie.
“Good, I’m here for you. Don’t forget that.” He was so good to you. It really was easy to fall deeper in love with him when he did these things.

The week was hell. Complete and utter hell. Theo was on you to talk to Scott all week but every time you tried to talk to him, he was pulled off to do something. Granite, you were kind of glad you hadn’t been able to talk to Scott. There was no way you could speak positively about Theo, no matter what. But each day, Theo grew more and more angry when you didn’t talk to Scott.
“Y/n, what the hell is your deal?” Theo asked after school. A few students looked our way.
You rolled your eyes at him. “I’m doing my best. Scott’s been super busy this week. I haven’t been able to get him alone at all.”
His eyes were slits at this point. “Bullshit. You haven’t tried at all. It’s almost like you want me to spill your secret to the group.”
Behind the two of you, Lydia exited a classroom and noticed the tenseness of the conversation. She decided to stick around to see what was going on. She had noticed the animosity between Theo and you. Not to mention, Stiles had voiced his concerns to her earlier in the week after he told her that Theo wasn’t being the kindest person to you.
“Theo please, you have to understand that it doesn’t happen right away. Scott is an Alpha and has lots of things he needs to do that don’t involve talking to me.”
He lost his temper, and his fist flew into the locker next to your head. You jumped when this happened. Afraid of what he would do next.
“You’re not trying hard enough.” His teeth were clenched in pure anger. “You have one more day. If you can’t do this for me, well there will be no use for you. Your little crush on Stiles is the least of my worries now. Talk to Scott by tomorrow or else.” He hit the locker once again before stalking away from you.
Lydia watched in anger as this unfolded. You leaned against the locker, overcome with emotion at the encounter. His anger scared you enough to make you fear for your life.
“Y/n, are you okay?” Lydia rushed over to you and pulled you into her arms. Why was she so nice?
You sniffled and shook your head while separating from the hug. “No, I’m not. Not at all.” There was no use in holding in your emotions about this. Theo was breaking you down and he crossed the line from blackmail to threats.
“What is Theo doing to you?” She asked.
You looked around and noticed the group of students still around. “Not here.” You mumbled before pulling her off to the girl’s locker room, where Theo would not be able to find you.
“What’s going on?” She asked once you closed the door.
You sighed. “Theo started blackmailing me at your party last week. He wants me to convince Scott that he should be let into the pack.”
Lydia didn’t look happy that Theo was doing this. “What was he blackmailing you about?”
Now that was something you couldn’t tell her. Not if she and Stiles were a thing. “I don’t want to say.”
“It’s about your feelings for Stiles, isn’t it?”
What in the world. “How did you know?”
“Y/n, I’ve known about them for a while now. It’s pretty easy to see when you’re not Stiles.”
“Wait what?”
Lydia giggled. “Everyone but Stiles knows about them. Theo really needs to reevaluate himself.”
You were stuck on the fact that everyone apparently knew about your feelings for Stiles. Everyone but Stiles. That was not what you expected at all.
“Wow. I’m really bad at hiding this. Damn it.” You buried your face in your hands. It was embarrassing how transparent you were.
“No, Y/n. Don’t think like that. It’s okay.” She was trying to calm you down. She could see your anxiety had taken over and made you feel worse.
“I think Theo is going to do something much worse if I don’t talk to Scott.” His words replayed in your head.
Lydia couldn’t deny the feeling she got about it. Theo had something planned and she could feel it. So, here she was, trying to protect her friend from getting hurt.
“Well, if you are surrounded by us tomorrow, you will be okay. We won’t let anything happen to you.” She promised, and it did make you feel a little better. You knew that they could protect you from someone like Theo, but Scott still didn’t know how horrible Theo actually was.
“Okay, that could work.” You really hoped it did. At this point you didn’t care if Theo spilled your crush to Stiles. You just didn’t want to get hurt in the hands of the unstable wolf.
“Don’t worry, we will get Scott to see that Theo isn’t who he thinks he is. After watching him threaten you, I worry about allowing him into the pack.”
“Me too.” Having him in the pack would be hell for not only you but for Stiles too. Stiles has hated Theo since he came back and now, we all know why. You looked at your phone. “Oh, I have to head home. Thank you for talking to me, Lydia. You’re always so sweet to me.”
“That’s because I’m your friend. Please text us if you need us. We are here no matter what.” You couldn’t help but pull her into a hug. Lydia was the sweetest human ever. No wonder Stiles loved her.
**
At home, you were left alone because your parents had to go into the city for a few days. You weren’t all that happy to be left completely alone but you weren’t about to beg one of your friends to come stay with you for the night. It was Thursday night, and no one would want to come at 10 in the evening.
After your parents left, you locked the doors. Made sure all the windows were tightly shut and locked as well. There was no way you were going to let anyone in. To add to it, you turned on the security system. Once you were sufficiently guarded, you retired to your room.
A text waited on your phone from Stiles.
Stiles: Lydia told me that Theo was being an asshole to you again. Can I please punch him for you?
His message made you laugh.
Y/n: No, please don’t hurt yourself that way. You’re way too pretty to get hurt by someone like Theo.
You were a little unsure about that message, but you had to be okay with it because it was too late now.
Stiles: Awe, you think I’m pretty. That’s very flattering coming from you.
Y/n: You’re the prettiest ever. Like damn, I could stare at you for hours and never get bored.
Shit, what were you doing? This was not what you should be saying to Stiles.
Stiles: Damn, I’m over here blushing at my phone. My dad is for sure looking at me like I lost my mind. That means a lot coming from the most beautiful girl in school.
Wait what? Was Stiles being serious?
Y/n: Don’t joke with me, Stiles.
Stiles: I’d never joke about this, Y/n. Is it that hard to believe I think you’re beautiful?
There was no mistaking it. Stiles was for sure flirting with you right now. This was probably the most unexpected thing.
Y/n: Yes, it is. I never expected you to say that too me. I love it.
The biggest smile made its way to your face. You just stared at the message, feeling positive and simply happy.
Stiles: Y/n, I have to tell you something. I was going to tell you last weekend at Lydia’s party, but it never happened.
Y/n: Oooo, what is it?
The thoughts of what he could possibly say to you bloomed deep inside of you. You anxiously watched the three dots that signaled that Stiles was typing. As you did, as loud crash sounded from downstairs and almost immediately the security system went off.
Shit. This is what you wanted to avoid.
Y/n: I will be right back. Uh, something happened. Please don’t stop.
You sent him the message before standing from your bed. You instantly searched your room looking for any type of weapon to protect yourself from whoever decided they wanted to break into your room at 10:30 at night. There was virtually nothing you could use to adequately protect yourself from whoever was down there. Suddenly, you remembered there was a bat under your bed. Random, but so helpful. Bending down, you pulled out a metal bat, then you grabbed your phone and put it in your pocket.
Opening your door, your heartrate sped up. There were no sounds coming from downstairs. But you know you heard a window break. You held your breath as you silently traveled down the stairs. A thought hit you as you reached the bottom of the stairs. You should have called 911 and not investigated it, but you didn’t seem to make the smartest decision.
Walking towards the kitchen, you found the patio door was shattered, but there was no one there. Shit. There had to be someone here. You held the bat up and turned around, looking for whoever decided to break into your house. Walking back to the living room, there was no one, or you thought there was no one. A hand wrapped around your neck and scared you. The motion caused you to drop the bat.
“Silly girl. Thinking a bat would save you from me. You can’t even fucking keep a hold of it.” The person threw you back into the kitchen, where you crashed to the floor. “I also like how you thought locking the doors would stop me. Nothing can stop me.” They stood over you.
It was Theo and he was in his werewolf form. His eyes glowed blue. You knew what that meant. It meant that Theo had killed someone. That thought was so fucking scary.
“W-what are you doing here. Please Theo, don’t do anything you would regret.” You managed to say.
The words only angered him, and he bent down and grabbed you by your throat and then shoved you into a wall. “You’re so fucking stupid.” His hand tightened around your neck, his nails dug into your neck, drawing blood.
“You don’t have to do this. Please, Theo. Don’t do this.” You begged as the tears flowed down your face. This situation was grave. “Please.” You whispered.
“Nope.” He threw you again and you landed in the pile of glass on the tiled floor. Little jagged pieces of glass cut into your skin, no doubt drawing blood. “You’re not getting out of this. No amount of begging or pleading is going to save you.”
Theo’s head snapped up, almost like he heard something in the distance. He glanced down at you, crumbled on the floor. “Does this fucking system call anyone?” He questioned with anger.
“No, it doesn’t. Please.” You begged.
Theo was not having it. “Shut up. God you’re so pathetic.” He grabbed a vase of flowers from the counter and threw it towards you. It crashed against your body, sending hundreds of jolts of pain through you.
You whimpered as the pain manifested across your body. It was clear that you weren’t going to get out of this.
Once again, he became aware of the surroundings. He bent down and pulled you to your feet, your body cried out in pain. You felt the cuts across your body protest the movements. Theo dragged out the back door and towards an alley that was behind your house. You cried out in paid as he dragged you through the mud in your yard.
“God damnit. Shut the fuck up.” He threw you down on the ground, hitting your head against a rock. Knocking you out cold. “Finally, some peace and quiet!” He yelled as he continued to drag you away from your house.
Theo had parked his truck in the alley, so he could easily leave once he got you. He threw open his truck bed and hoisted you in. As he did so, he spotted your cellphone in your pocket he grabbed it. A couple messages were displayed on the screen. All from Stiles.
“Well, well well, what is this?” Theo tried to open your phone, but it was locked. That frustrated him. He scanned the message previews.
Stiles: I have been meaning to tell you, but I really really like you. Like more than a ……
Damn, Theo would love to see what else Stiles had to say.
Stiles: Are you okay? It’s been a while since you responded.
Theo let out a manic laugh as he read that. He couldn’t believe Stiles actually had feelings for you. It just wasn’t something he expected. Theo threw the phone on the ground and watched it crack. Satisfied, he shut the tailgate and hopped into the truck. He knew just where to take you.

PART THREE
Tumblr media
After seeing the Sheriff, everyone met back at Scott’s. His mom was working another late shift, so we would not be bothering her. Scott led us into the house, it was time to make some plans.
“While you were talking to Claudia, we were asking about Elijah. We think we should go visit him, but the Sheriff was pretty set on telling us not to visit him.” Malia explained as you all settled into the living room.
“Let me take a guess, you’re not going to listen to him, and you will go talk to him anyway?” You knew how they worked, and this was so on brand for them.
Scott shrugged, “You know us well.”
It was kinda funny that you knew they would go against the Sheriff’s wishes. Also, it left you feeling happy that they believed you enough to help you like this.
“I think it’s a good plan. I really can’t be the only one who remembers Stiles.”
“You aren’t.” Someone said from the doorway. You looked up to find Theo. Liam, Mason, and Corey were behind him. “I remember him quite well.”
“Theo.” His name left a bitter taste in your mouth. “It’s nice of you to join us. How was hell?” Of course, you had to be a little sarcastic to him.
“Here I am. Hell was…. interesting. But I’m glad to be out. Even if it is because you all need my help.” Theo strode into the room; the egotistical attitude was still evident.
From the other side of the room, Scott cleared his throat and gained Theo’s attention.
“Ahh Scott. How’s Alpha life treating you?”
Everyone rolled their eyes at him. He was being his typical self and it was highly annoying.
“You’re here to help us, not make conversation about what you wish you were.” You snapped at him. His talking about useless shit was wasting time.
Theo’s eyes grew wide. “Whoa, someone’s got an attitude. I guess this is why Stiles is with you.”
“Shut it. Tell us what you know about the ghost riders.” Lydia took charge, knowing you would only snap some more at the annoying wolf.
A look of amusement crossed Theo’s face. “My my, we’re all so on edge in here, are we?” He laughed and took a seat on one of the vacant chairs.
“Start talking.” Scott used his alpha voice, not that it really affected Theo. Scott wasn’t his alpha and he would do whatever he wanted.
He rolled his eyes. “Okay, calm down.” He stood up again. “I encountered the ghost riders once before. I was in Nevada, and they showed up in the town I was at.”
“We need more.” Malia snapped.
“Hey, I’m getting there. I could never see them, but I heard people talking about them. There was this woman, she was able to see them. It was weird because she wasn’t a wolf, banshee, or anything for that matter. She was just a regular human.”
This surprised you. “She could see them?”
He rolled his eyes. “I just said that didn’t I?”
“Curb the idiotic attitude Theo and just answer us.” Malia was not having his attitude. Especially if he was going to snap at Y/n.
“Fine. Yes, she could hear and see them.”
“I can hear them. The only time I have ever seen them is once in my dreams, and the other time when Corey showed me.”
Theo’s eyes snapped to you. “You hear them?”
“I do.” You hated being under his scrutiny.
“Well, isn’t this interesting.” He walked closer to you, stopping in front of you. His eyes studied you closely. “Are you sure you’re not a banshee like Lydia?”
“She’s not.” Lydia stepped up and pulled him away from you. “Is there anything else you know about the ghost riders?”
“I’m disappointed no one wants to ask how I’m doing. I’ve been locked away for a couple months and instead of asking me how I am, you demand so much from me right away.” Theo was smiling like the asshole he was.
“Shut up, Theo. We brought you here to help us. If you can’t help us, we will happily send you back.” Scott wasn’t taking his shit. Theo’s behavior was just grating on everyone.
“Fine.” He rolled his eyes the way a petulant child would when asked to do something. “I can say that a sudden thunderstorm is the sign that the ghost riders are here. They arrive with the lightning. It’s a power source for them I guess.”
Just as you thought.
“Okay, do you have any clue where the ghost riders take people?” Malia asked.
“No, I can’t help you there.” Theo looked away from her and looked towards you. “So, you really hear the ghost riders?”
You rolled your eyes. “Yes, we don’t have time for this shit.” You stood up. “Scott, Malia, and Lydia, we need to talk to Elijah Stilinski.”
“I agree.” Lydia stood up and joined her cousin.
Theo just rolled his eyes. “I see how it is. Now what should I do why you four go off on your own?”
“You’re going to stay with Liam, Mason, and Corey while we go do this. Also, you’re going to stay out of trouble.”
“I don’t think that will be a problem.” Liam said holding up Noshiko Yukimura’s sword, which had been used to send him down with the skin walkers.
Theo huffed from his chair, clearly unamused at the groups way of keeping him in line. But that was the last thing you cared about. Stiles was the only reason you were here talking to Theo. If it weren’t for that, you wouldn’t stick around to listen to what he had to say.
“Have fun.” Theo taunted as your group exited the house. Of course, you rolled your eyes at his words. He was just so damn immature, and he knew how to annoy the shit out of all of you.
The drive to the home where Elijah lived was silent. It seemed everyone was stuck in their heads about this. You were still the only one who remembered Stiles, but you were slowly cracking through the barriers in everyone else’s minds. You hoped Elijah could bring a little more clarity to everything, but you weren’t going to hold out hope for it.
Lydia and Scott already had a plan to get us in, and it worked quite well. Now the group was waiting in a room with a bunch of round tables. It looked to be a game hall or something of the sort. You sat there, playing with your fingers, trying to not let the anxiety get the best of you.
“Who are you?” A voice asked. You looked up to see an older man who you could see the family resemblance through. He was completely a Stilinski. You had never met him before, but there was no doubt this was Stiles’ grandfather.
“Hi, Mr. Stilinski. We know your son, Sherriff Stilinski.” Scott said to him.
The man scowled. “Did he sent you here to visit me instead of him? Coward.”
“No, that’s not why we’re here. In fact, he doesn’t know we came.” Scott clarified.
“Do you know the name Stiles?” You asked, hoping he knew it.
“Yes, I do.” Hope bloomed inside of you. “It was my nickname while I was off at war. I haven’t been called that in years.” The hope quickly died.
“Oh, okay.” You said, suddenly feeling you wouldn’t get a thing out of him.
“Wait, my grandson is also called Stiles. It’s been an exceptionally long time since I have seen him though.”
You quickly looked up. “You remember your grandson?”
“Of course. I may be old, but I do remember him. Although I wish he would visit me from time to time, but I understand he’s busy with school and all that. Are you his friends?” His eyes looked to us.
“Yes, well we think so.” Scott said.
“We are. I’m his girlfriend.” You said without any hesitation.
Elijah looked you over. “Good for him. He’s got himself a good girl. Maybe you can convince him to come see me?” He looked at you with hope.
“I can try.” You assured him.
You had so much you wanted to ask him, but it was all cut short when Sheriff Stilinski walked in. “I told you I didn’t want you guys to come here.” He sounded angry.
“Sorry, Sheriff. We needed to talk to Elijah, it was important.” Lydia said standing up.
“No, you don’t need to involve my father in whatever game you’re trying to pull. He doesn’t need this.”
“Okay, we’re sorry.” Scott said.
“Y/n, can I talk to you?” Sheriff asked, looking imposing even though you had never seen him that way.
“Oh sure.” You stood up and grabbed your bag.
“Now you guys can all go wait outside for her.” They were quick to gather their things and get out.
Sheriff Stilinski led you away from is father, into the hallway. You could tell he was extremely disappointed in you, and it felt horrible to witness.
“Y/n what’s going on? Lately you have not been yourself at all and you are dragging your friends into this and it’s worrying. Is this about your parents?” Him bringing them up was a stinging reminder of just how hard it was to get anyone to believe you.
“What, no. This has nothing to do with them. This is about me finding Stiles and bringing him home. Your son is out there, and I vowed to save him, even though no one believes me.” You were sick of acting like it was okay that everyone forgot him. It was hard just keeping your feelings at bay.
Sheriff sighed. “How many times do I need to tell you, I don’t have a son and I never have. You sound like you’re going off the rails when you say this and it worries me, Y/n. What is really going on? Did someone introduce you to something new at a party? Is this a mental breakdown. We can help you; we just need you to open up to us.”
The words sounded familiar. “Did my aunt talk to you?”
“She did because she’s worried for you. When you came to her, you weren’t in the right state of mind, and she’s worried you slipped back into that again. So, we only want to help you. Please let us do that.” He was pleading at this point.
You felt offended and at your wit’s end. “How can you help me? The boy I’m in love with was taken from me, only three people remember him. I don’t think you can help me.” You deadpanned.
“We can get you help, Y/n. There are so great psychologists at Eichen that can help you. They helped Claudia when she went through her breakthrough, so I am sure they can help you.” The way he was speaking was terrifying.
You started backing up, feeling threatened by these words. “I don’t need their help. Please understand that this is not a mental breakdown. Not at all.”
He didn’t look convinced. Behind him, you saw a man in a grey uniform. He looked like he was a worker from Eichen house.
“No way. You’re just prepared to take me there without my permission?” You backed up some more, inching closer to the door.
“You’re underaged, so your aunt has the last say in this. Please Y/n, let’s do this the easy way.”
“No, I’m not going there.” With that you turned and ran from the building. Sheriff was hot on you heals, but you were quicker as you hopped into the car and told your friends to go. Lydia wasted no time before pealing out of the parking lot.
“What was that? Are you okay, Y/n?” Malia asked completely concerned with what had just happened.
Tears had already started pouring down your face. “No. Lydia, your mom talked to the sheriff, and she wants me brought to Eichen House. Sheriff Stilinski brought someone from Eichen here and they were just going to take me against my will.” You said, completely freaked out by the whole thing.
“Wait, she actually called Eichen?” Lydia asked, seeming pissed that she had done this.
“Yes, and Sheriff told me that since I’m underaged, she has the last say in what happens with me.” You spoke.
Lydia’s phone started ringing. “Shit, it’s my mom. Answer it and put it on speaker.” She said as she handed Scott her phone.
“Hi Mom.” She said, making sure everyone else was quiet.
“Lydia, where are you?” She asked.
“I had to do some studying, but I’m in the car now. Why, what’s up?”
“Do you know where Y/n is?” Clearly Sheriff knew we had all been together and there was not doubt that Natalie knew this.
“Why? Trying to send her off to Eichen?” Lydia was pissed and you could hear the pure venom in her words.
Natalie sighed. “Lydia, it’s for her own good. We don’t want her to have a full out breakdown. I met with some psychologists, and they all agree it would be best if we bring her in. It will only be for a week or so until they can figure out what’s going on with her.”
“That’s not right mom. You can’t just send her away like that. She needs us, not some stupid psychologist at some stupid mental hospital. This is not how you handle this.”
“I talked to a teacher at the school, Lydia. Mr. Douglas. He said he thinks she’s been doing drugs and that she has been erratic at school.”
The mention of Douglas made your blood boil. Of course, he was involved in this.
“He’s lying, mom. Douglas doesn’t even have her in class, so how would he know any of that. You can’t be serious about this.”
The phone was silent for a second. “I’m serious. I know you are with her, and you need to bring her home right now. This is an important matter and if you don’t bring her home. This will only get worse.”
Lydia’s knuckles were white with how tight she was holding the steering wheel. “No, she’s not going there. Not now, not ever.” She hung up the phone and let out a small scream. “This is so messed up. Y/n. I’m so sorry she’s doing this.”
You shrugged. “She cares about me and she’s only doing what she thinks is right. But if I get sent there, I will never be able to save Stiles.”
“That’s why we aren’t going to let this happen. Not at all.” Scott pulled out his phone. “I know where we can take you, but we need to get another car, so they don’t follow us. I’m going to call Liam and we will see if Theo still his truck has, then we will use that to get you too somewhere safe.”
You just nodded, putting your trust into Scott. If anyone could keep you safe. It’s him.
**
“Are you sure they won’t find me at Derek’s loft?” You asked as you piled into Theo’s truck.
“No, Derek is there and he’s not going to let anyone through.” Scott assured as he hopped into the passenger seat.
Theo turned around. “Plus, you will have the added protection of me.” He shot you a wink. Malia growled from beside you.
“Yeah, and you’re much help.” Malia said.
“Well, I mean, I can be helpful. Right now, you have no choice but to accept me.” He was smug and it was annoying.
You said nothing, knowing you would curse him out if you did open your mouth. Theo was going to be staying at Derek’s loft with you and you weren’t all too happy about it. But it was true that he could help you research what needed to be done in order to find Stiles.
The truck stopped at the warehouse, and you were ushered into the building quickly. Derek was there to greet everyone and be briefed on the situation.
“Can you make sure they don’t find her here?” Scott asked.
“Yes, I can. No one in town knows I still live here. It’s also decked out in alarms if anyone steps in unannounced.” He assured everyone.
“Good. Then I should be safe here.” You said taking a seat on the couch.
“We’re going to try and keep it that way. Tomorrow we’re going to Canaan but of course you will stay here. But perhaps you can find some information about Canaan for us?” Scott suggested.
You nodded, disappointed that you couldn’t go to Canaan, but you knew it was in your best interest. “Got it. I will try and find any helpful information.”
Lydia pulled you into a hug. “I’m sorry mom is doing this.”
“It’s okay. I understand why but it’s not good timing.” Not to mention, it brought up a whole world of pain every time someone brought up your parents and the depression you went through after losing them.
“No and it’s honestly too far. Now you know to use this phone to call me if you need me.” She held up a burner phone Liam and Hayden had picked up for us.
“Yes, and I will. Now go before you get into more trouble because of me.” She hugged you once more before the group left you, Derek, and Theo alone at the warehouse. Scott was taking Theo’s truck, so there was no trail to the warehouse.
“Ah it’s no fun being on the run, huh?” Theo asked.
You turned and glared. “Now is not the time, Theo.”
He shrugged. “Just playing with you.”
“Not funny.” You grumbled walking away from the infuriating man.
Not getting the hint, he followed you. “Wait, I have important information you should know.”
Derek just silently watched us.
“Okay, what is it?”
“When people went missing in Nevada, I didn’t forget them either. I think it has something to do with being an outsider. Because I remembered them all but quickly realized no one else did.”
“Oh really? So do you think it will work here?”
“Well, I can’t be certain, but I remember Stiles and I know the Alex kid.” He offered.
“Could be because you were in exile?” You pointed out.
“Maybe but a couple more people have gone missing, and I remember every single one of them.” Now this was interesting.
“Okay, come on. We have to update the notebook.” You crossed the loft and set your bag on the table, pulling out the notebook. But as you did this, a chilled feeling came over you. “We need to be quick.” You added.
“What was that?” Derek asked, noticing the change.
“Um. I think they are coming for me.” You mumbled as a distant sound of horse hooves resonated the room and clearly only you could hear it.
“Who?” He asked.
“The ghost riders. The person they come to take hears the horse before they come.” Theo explained as you frantically wrote down what you needed to add into the notes.
“So, you hear them?” Derek sounded intrigued. But you kept writing.
The horses got louder, and you knew you were running out of time. “Yes.”
“Shit.” Theo said.
“Theo, I’m giving this notebook to you. If it’s true and you can remember everyone, you will remember me. I need you to take this to Scott and make him read it.” You explained as you finished the task of writing in the new information. You closed the notebook and slid it over to Theo.
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, I have faith in you right now. Please don’t betray it.” You said standing up.
“I will try not to.” He picked the notebook up as the vibration of the galloping horse reverberated through the room.
“Okay. It’s time.” You said as the doors of the loft burst open, and you could see the ghost riders as clear as day on your own. They galloped in and pointed the gun at you. You braced for impact as they shot.
**
In the next moment, you were hanging off the back of a horse while the ghost rider smashed through the portal. The hoard galloped into the abandoned train station you had seen before and through the tunnel into the waiting area.
You were thrown from the horse violently, and you crashed to the ground. In a matter of seconds, the ghost riders were headed out of the tunnel.
“Y/n?” A familiar voice asked.
You looked up to see Stiles. “Stiles!” You jumped up and pulled him into your arms. He was quick to claim your lips. Feeling him in your arms was so unbelievably good. It felt like ages since he was taken.
“What are you doing here?” He asked as it finally hit him that you were actually here and not his imagination.
“The ghost riders got me. But I did a lot of work to figure out why they are doing this before I came. It was hell.”
“You didn’t forget me?”
“No, not at all. It was hard convincing Scott and everyone you were real. They all thought I was losing my mind.” Stiles hated that you went through that.
He took your hand in his. “Let’s move away from the tunnel. I haven’t been able to predict the timing of the ghost riders yet, but I do know they come multiple times a day.” Stiles led you to the other end of the station.
“I never figured out how often someone went missing. But since you were taken, I was able to hear them.” You stopped when you remembered the dreams. “Wait, I was here in a dream. I saw you in a catatonic state.”
Stiles eyes went wide. “I think I remember hearing you at some point. I called out but there was no reply.”
The two of you had been so close but still so far from each other. There was a connection between you that bonded you.
“That’s amazing, because when I saw you, you mumbled my name.”
“Wow. Now I need to know what you know.” He could see you knew a lot.
“I know a lot. But first.” You leaned up and kissed him again. “I missed you so much. I didn’t know if I would ever see you again. It’s so good to see you and feel you next to me.” You had wrapped your arms around him again, just needing him as close as possible.
Stiles wrapped his arms around you and held you close. He missed you just as much as you had missed him. “I’m so happy to have you here with me. I never got to tell you, but I love you too.” He remembered perfectly what you said as the ghost riders were taking him.
Your heart sped up at those words. “Oh, I love you so much. I know it may be too soon, but you have been there since I moved to Beacon Hills. You are the reason I am still here. I owe so much to you.”
“I would do anything for you! You mean the world to me.” His amber eyes showed the truth in his words, and it made you feel like you were in a dream world.
“Fuck I missed you, Stiles. I thought I lost you and it killed me.”
“Well, I am here and we’re going to get out of here together.”
Behind the two of you, someone scoffed. “Lovely reunion but we really need to make a solid plan to get out of here, or I am going to lose my mind.”
Stiles rolled his eyes at the voice behind the two of you. “You can’t let me enjoy time with my girlfriend, can you?”
“Girlfriend? Oh, excuse me for caring if I live or die in this place.” He sassed.
“This is Peter. I uh found him here when I came out of the catatonic state.” Stiles explained.
You nodded, having heard some things about the man.
“I thought you were dating Malia, my daughter.” Peter commented with a scowl.
“Oh, he’s the one Malia has been talking about.” You commented.
“Well Malia and I realized we were better off as friends a while back. My feelings for Y/n were too strong to deny for any of us.” Stiles looked upon you with a fondness that made your heart feel wonderful and light. “Also, how the hell did you know about Malia and I?”
Peter rolled his eyes. “Sure, I was locked up, but I heard things. Trust me, I wanted to get out and get you away from her.” He was being dramatic which you knew he was known for. “Be careful with him, hun. He’s not the best guy.”
Stiles looked fed up. “How would you know?”
“Again, I heard things.”
“Shut up, Peter. Stiles is perfect and you’re just mad he dated your daughter.” You said grabbing Stiles’ hand.
“Well, what does your father think of Stiles. Probably similar to what I do.” His words sliced into you.
“My father is dead.” You deadpanned.
Peter paled and realized he fucked up. “Oh, I.”
“Whatever. I have information about what has been happening and I think it can help us get out of here.” You said quickly, cutting him off.
Stiles grinned at you. “I knew you would be the one to save me. I never had a doubt.” He was so happy to see you again. Once he had come out of the catatonic state, all he wanted to do was see you. Now you were right in front of him, with information that could help save the two of you.

Updates!!
First, I have a new name!!!!
darkmoonfics >>>>>>>> goddesswritings
Second, an explanation.
I know I haven't updated in months and I sincerely apologize for that. I have been under a lot of stress and anxiety and it has made writing so so hard for me. But things are starting to look up for me. It is just taking a while.
My ex fave singer is finally single again, and my love for MCR is back in full swing, so I think some new works will be on the way soon. I'm working really hard to get my brain back into writing. I just hyperfixate on useless things that make writing hard. I will be back though.
Let me know what you want to see and maybe it will inspire me to work on my writing. :D

F*cking Haunted - Colby Brock | Part One
Title: F*cking Haunted – Part One
Pairing: Colby Brock x Reader
Summary: The boys of the Traphouse have noticed some weird things in their house after they decided playing with spirits was a totally normal and fun thing to do for YouTube. Y/n has her own channel, but she specializes in Demons and understanding why spirits are in a place. She is called in to help the boys and they may not like what she finds.
Word Count: 6.1k
Warnings: mention of death, gruesome murder scene mention, ghostly hauntings, demons, and traphouse shenanigans.
So I sort of based the reader of my own experiences with spirits and what I can personally do, but I just made their experiences and abilities a lot stronger than what I can do. It made for a cool story.

Nerves bubbled in your stomach as you drove closer to your destination. This wasn’t the first time you agreed to do anything like this but it was the first time you would be working with well-known YouTubers. You were feeling slightly unsure about it, but you knew it was something you needed to do, and this group was desperate for some help.
Your YouTube channel was small. With only about 50k subscribers, so it was still a mystery how such big YouTubers found you in the sea of endless similar channels. But you were one of the most genuine in the field.
So your channel consisted of you and your abilities, and that’s the best way to put it. Basically, you could communicate with spirits and so you used that in paranormal investigations where someone needed guidance. You also used it when someone was desperate to contact a loved one. So it was not the norm, but you enjoyed it.

A Change of Weather - Stardew Valley Sebastian
Title: A Change of Weather
Pairing: Stardew Valley Sebastian x Reader
Summary: Farmer Y/n has a crush on Sebastian and she’s ready to tell him how she feels with a bouquet. But things don’t go as planned thanks to Sam and his big mouth.

“She’s so perfect, Sam. Like the way she laughs and the way she makes me feel appreciated. I never thought I would feel this way about someone but wow, here I am!” Sebastian and Sam were standing by the river in front of Sam’s house and Sebastian was smoking while he talked about the woman he liked.
Sam smiled at the happiness Sebastian exuded when talking about this ‘mystery woman’. He knew it was Abigail, but he knew Sebastian wasn’t about to admit it.
“Well Seb, you should ask her out. That way she knows how you feel, and I guarantee she feels the same!” Sam had seen the signs with Abi, so he was sure she felt the same.
Sebastian smiled when he thought about her. He never saw himself falling for a farmer, but she wasn’t always a farmer. When she moved to Pelican Town, he hadn’t been all that keen on becoming friends with her, but she was persistent. So he finally cracked, and they became friends.
“I think I might.” Tomorrow was probably the best day because they were all meeting for a pizza night at Sam’s.
“Good, you deserve to be happy and from what I can see, she likes you too!” Sam clapped a hand onto his friends shoulder.
Sebastians eyes widened. “You know who it is?”
“Of course. You two are so oblivious to think no one else can see it. It’s so cute!” All the while, Sam was under the impression it was Abigail he was talking about, he didn’t suspect it to be the farmer.
“Wow, okay. Well I’m going to do it then.” It wasn’t easy for Sebastian to feel confidence because living in a house with Demetrius for 15 years, sure did a number on him.
“Good! She’s going to love it! If you can find some Amethyst, she will love that!”
“Oh yeah! That’s perfect. I think Maru has some extra amethyst she used for an experiment. She won’t miss it.”
“Great! Oh good luck, man. Although you don’t need it, she will say yes in a heartbeat.” Sam watched as his beat friend snuffed out the cigarette butt with some water.
“This will be good.” He said as he discarded the cigarette into the trash.
“It will!”
****
You felt a bit nervous as you prepared for a pizza night at Sam’s. A flower bouquet sat on the dresser taunting you. The mere thought of giving the bouquet to the desired target made you nervous.
Eight months ago, when you moved to Pelican Town, you met Sebastian the second day here. You had immediately been drawn to him. His darkness appealed to you. It had taken time for him to open up to you but when he did, things really bloomed.
“Tonight is the night we ask him out.” You said as you studied your reflection. A small bark came from Cal, your German Shepard. “Don’t worry, I’m not replacing you, bud.” He whined in reply. “Yes, we can trust Sebastian.” His reply was a positive one.
In the time you had know him, Sebastian was so good at hiding his real emotions from you. But at this point, you felt like there was something more flourishing between the two of you. You were ready to ask him if he actually wanted to explore it. You were nervous but you were also really excited.
Once you were sure you looked good enough, you put the fresh bouquet into your backpack and pet Cal on your way out. Tonight was the night you admitted your feelings to Sebastian. Hopefully, he felt the same, and things would work out for you two.
Of course, you were early to Sam’s house. His parents and his little brother were away in the city for the weekend, so he had the house completely to himself.
“Y/n! You’re here!” Sam pulled you into a warm hug as you entered the house. “You’re the first.”
You giggled. “Of course I am. Well that’s okay. I can help you set up.” You stated as you set the bag gently on the ground by the door.
“Thank you, you’re so sweet. I have mostly everything ready, I am just waiting for the pizza, which Penny said she would pick up on her way over. She will be leaving soon, once she makes sure Pam doesn’t go out to the Saloon again.” Sam said it but you both knew Pam would still go to the Saloon no matter what. She poured all her problems into alcohol and everyone knew it.
“Nice. I guess Sebastian and Abigail will be coming shortly?” Your eyes lit up when you said Sebastian, but Sam didn’t catch it.
“Oh yes. Sebastian is finally going to tell her he likes her. Finally after all this time, he’s going to admit it to her. It’s going to be adorable.” He blabbered and your heart skipped a beat.
“Wait. Sebastian likes Abigail?” You were trying your best not to let the hurt seep through.
Sam smiled. “Of course he does. They are perfect for each other. He was just telling me how much he liked her two days ago. He was going on and on about how perfect she is for him and how she makes him feel appreciated. It was so cute.”
Inside, you felt your heart cracking. Your chest suddenly felt tight when you thought about it. It truly felt like you were going to crack into several pieces right there. Of course Sebastian likes Abigail. Why wouldn’t he? They have known each other for years and she really was perfect for him. How could you have ever thought anything would happen between the two of you?
“Hey, are you okay? You look pale.”
“Um, yeah. I am okay.” You tried to even your breathing, but it was getting harder by the second.
Sam’s phone buzzed in his hand. “Oh Sebastian is almost here. He’s bringing some beer.”
You tuned out what Sam was saying as your brain tried to understand what was happening. “Actually, I’m going to head home. I suddenly don’t feel particularly good. I think I worked to hard in the sun today.”
His eyes looked up at you and he frowned. “Oh no. We told you that you were working to hard. Do you want me to walk you home?”
“No, I will be okay. Enjoy the night.” You were quick to grab your bag and sling it over your shoulder. “Bye Sam.” With that, you rushed out the door, eager to get away from anyone who you didn’t want to see you break down. You rushed off towards Marnie’s farm, to access your farm through the dirt path there.
By the time you were covered by the dark, you felt the wet tears flowing down your face. ‘Stupid. I am so stupid for thinking I even had a chance. Sebastian would never see me that.’ You berated yourself as you walked. You made it to your farm and walked through the thick trees you had yet to clear from the land. Once you were walking up the steps to the farmhouse, you felt completely defeated.
Cal was at your feet the second you unlocked the door. He could tell you were upset, and he didn’t like it. “It’s okay Cal, I just got my hopes up for nothing.”
You set the backpack on the small dining table and opened it, removing the bouquet and throwing it into the sink. You would dispose of it tomorrow. Next you opened the chest where you kept your swords, you decided that instead of sitting at home and crying, you would go to the mines and cry.
“I’ll be okay, Cal. I just need to get my frustrations out at the mines. I will be back in a few hours.” You pet his head and he panted in complete love at the attention you gave him. “I love you, buddy.” You leaned down and kissed his nose. Then you fastened the sword to your back and filled your backpack with a water bottle and some snacks. Your pickaxe hung from the backpack.
The walk to the mines was quick and by the time you reached the elevator, it was 9:00. You would have several hours to explore tonight before you had to be home. You were still pretty emotional, but the crying had stopped on the walk over. Entering the elevator, you went down to level 70. You had been working hard in the mines but hadn’t reached the bottom of the mines yet.
Just last week, you first encountered the skeletons. They took you off guard when you first saw them, but you quickly learned the best way to defeat them. You stepped out on level 70, taking out your pickaxe to begin the plight of smashing rocks and fighting odd creatures that dwelled in the mine.
****
Sebastian was feeling happy when he walked into Sam’s house, because he was so excited to talk to Y/n and admit his feelings. He was finally ready to take the next step and he hoped you were ready too. He was quite sure you were, but he was still nervous.
“Sebastian, good to see you. Thanks for the beer, you bought the good stuff.” Sam said while taking the case of beer from his best friend.
“You know I only provide the best for my friends.”
“Oh I do. We are grateful for it. Like really grateful. I think Abigail said she was able to score some weed when she was in the city last weekend with her dad. So more fun.” He set the beer on the coffee table.
“Really? Than this is a full out party, huh?”
“You bet. I mean we do have some celebrating to do, when you tell your girl you like her. So we have plenty of options.”
“We sure do. Oh I am nervous.” Sebastian said.
Sam turned to him. “Yo man, you have nothing to be nervous about. I already told you that she for sure likes you. Just calm down and let the night happen.”
“Okay, I will try.”
The door opened and in walked Penny followed by Abigail. “Look who I ran in to on the way over.” Abi said taking a pizza box from Penny.
“Perfect, I am dying for some pizza.” Sam then promptly took the box from Abi and opened it, grabbing a slice immediately.
“Oh Seb, you got the best beer! Yes, I always knew I could trust you.” Abigail hugged Sebastian and he hugged her back. Sam was watching the two of them with a strange smile on his face. Penny nudged his side and made him stop.
“You can trust him alright. Now did you bring the weed?” Sam motioned to Abi’s bag.
“I sure did. Let’s have some fun.” She opened the bag and dropped a pretty substantial amount of weed on the table. Penny looked away in embarrassment, not liking the idea of drinking and doing drugs but she came for Sam.
Abi set up the weed, while Sam passed a beer to everyone and opened the pizza boxes. Sebastian kept glancing to the door, waiting for you to come in but the later it got, he started to realize something wasn’t right.
“Dude, you haven’t touched your pizza. Why is that?” Sam was the first to notice how distant he was, and he wasn’t going to let him mope and ruin their night.
“I uh, have a lot on my mind.”
He suddenly looked like he understood. “Oh, then maybe you and Abi should go for a walk and talk. It’s the perfect time.”
Sebastian cocked his head. “Perfect time for what?”
“Dude, you know what I’m talking about. Do it now and you will feel better.”
“Do what?” Then it hit him. Sam was under the impression that the woman he had been talking about was Abigail. Suddenly it made all the sense in the world. “Sam you have it all wrong.” Now Sebastian needed to know where Y/n was. “Why is Y/n still not here?”
Sam laughed. “She overworked herself. Seriously, you are so thick headed. Abigail, Sebastian likes you and wants to be with you.”
Sebastian groaned and buried his head into his hands, while Abigail scowled at Sam. She knew about Sebastian liking the farmer, because she got it out of him a few months back. So of course she knew this wasn’t true. But also, Sebastian was the only one who knew Abigail fully, so of course Sam was putting the two of them together.
“Sam, you’re an idiot.” Abigail growled.
“What? Why?”
“Sebastian doesn’t like me you, dumbass. Not at all.”
“How? You’re the only girl I ever see him with. Wait, shit. Y/n. Fuck, you were talking about Y/n?” Sam slapped his forehead in complete frustration.
“Yes I was, Sam. Abigail and I are friends. You really thought I was talking about her?” Sebastian felt mad but he also needed to clear this up.
“Yes, I mean how could I not. You two are like the exact same!”
Penny was covering her mouth as she watched the exchange.
“Sam, fuck, I’m not straight. I didn’t tell you because I know you have a huge mouth that you can’t ever shut but Sebastian knows. So of course him and I would never work. We’re more like siblings than anything else.” Abi explained while Sam’s eyes went wide.
“Oh. I’m sorry Abigail. I didn’t mean to push. Shit, I am the biggest idiot.”
“You are.” Abi’s teeth were clenched.
“No, I am much worse. Y/n was here.” He clarified.
Sebastian looked up at the blonde. “Wait, she was actually here?”
Sam nodded solemnly. “She was and she was so happy until I said Sebastian was going to ask Abigail out. She went pale and she left quickly after that.”
“You really are a fucking idiot, Sam. She likes Sebastian and you just broke her heart by telling her he liked me. What the hell!” Abigail was pissed, because she didn’t want Y/n to hate her, and she also didn’t want Y/n to believe what Sam had said.
“Look, I’m sorry. How was I supposed to know. Sebastian never said a name and I didn’t think he was talking about her. You made the most sense in this situation.” He tried to defend himself, but Abi was already marching over to punch him. Sebastian grabbed her before she could.
“No, let’s not punch him. Just let him feel guilty. I’m going to go see if I can talk to her right now. Let’s hope she listens to me and that you haven’t completely messed it up for me.” Sebastian glared at Sam before he quickly left the house. He took the path beside Sam’s house, that led up to the stone walkway that would lead right to your farm. He was practically running.
When he arrived, he saw all of the lights out and cursed to himself. He knocked on the door but heard nothing. He knocked some more, before he decided to go to the back and see if you were home. His fear was confirmed when he saw nothing in the moonlight that spilled into your bedroom. You were not home.
He pulled his phone out and dialed your number. His heart dropped when he heard it ringing from inside. You left without your phone. He took a seat on the steps before a large German Shepard came from the fields and bounded up to him, whining for attention.
“Cal, where did she go?” Then he laughed at himself when he realized the dog wouldn’t be able to respond to him. Cal just rubbed his head against Sebastian leg before laying next to him on the porch. His only option was to sit and wait for you to come home from wherever you were. Given it was nearly 11 at night, so he knew you would be back soon enough.
****
It was a horrible idea to go to the mines when you were upset. Your focus was so off, and you made it easy for the mine creatures to attack you.
A skeleton quickly threw you back into the stone walls almost as soon as you entered the mine, the force had knocked the wind from you.
Later, a blue gray slime attacked, using it’s stun on you. Normally slimes were easy but this one was double the size of a normal slime. It took a lot to fend off the slime.
Then when you finally reached level 75, a cauldron of bats attacked, knocking your sword from your hands. You used the pickaxe to swat them away while you went for the sword. But several slammed into your head, digging their claws in. This caused a big gash below your left eye and another above your right eye near your hairline.
You called it a night after that and booked it to the elevator. Once you reached the surface, the weight of the events in the mine hit you head on as you felt the pain throughout your body.
It felt like the longest walk ever, going back to the farmhouse but you let out a breath when you saw it come into view. But your heart stopped when you saw a tall figure lying on your porch with your dog snuggled beside them.
You drew your sword and silently moved closer to them, not letting your guard down. They glanced up to see you and jumped up in complete surprise.
“Whoa Y/n, don’t stab me! It’s Sebastian!” He held his hands up in surrender.
You quickly dropped the sword to the ground. “What the hell are you doing here, it’s almost 1 am!” Cal jumped up and bounded over to you, happy you were home.
“Can we uh, talk inside?” He asked looking around in the darkness.
“Yeah.” You picked up the sword and ascended the steps before unlocking the door and flicking the lights on. Sebastian was behind you.
He shut the door behind you as you dropped the sword by the door to deal with later. “How long were you waiting?” You asked.
“Since 11.” His eyes went wide when he saw the cuts on your face. “What the hell happened?”
“Oh uh, the monsters won tonight.” Despite trying to play it off, you were thoroughly unsettled by how the night went. “Also, you waited outside for two hours?”
“I did. I really have to talk to you, but I need to clean up those injuries, they look bad.”
“It looks worse than it is.” This was a clear lie.
“No Y/n, baby, don’t do that. It’s okay to admit you’re not okay.” His voice was soft and calming now.
This was all it took before the tears were rushing out and you felt like collapsing to the floor. Sebastian saw this and caught you before you could fall. He picked you up and carried you toward the bedroom and bathroom. He sat you in the armchair by the bathroom door.
“Let me grab the first aide kit and a warm towel. I will clean you up and bandage what I can.” He said and you nodded before wiping the tears from your eyes. Sebastian was being so sweet to you.
He returned with the towel in hand. He bent down in front of you and started to gingerly clean up the cuts, you winced but let him do it. Once they were clean, he started bandage the ones on your face.
“Those monsters really got you, damn.” He whispered as he studied your face.
“Just a little.” You joked.
Sebastian stood up to put the towel in the hamper and the first aide kit back in the bathroom. “Just a little she says as I can literally see bruises forming all over her body.”
He was right. The soreness was becoming more apparent as the minutes ticked by. “Okay, so I fucked up.”
Seb shook his head. “No, you did not fuck up. I am going to blame Sam for this.”
You cocked your head. “Huh, why is Sam to blame for me going to the mines?”
“Because he told you I liked Abigail.” He said simply.
The ill feelings returned. “Oh that is nothing. I hope it went well for you two.”
“Well I don’t like her the way Sam assumed and she’s not into men, so that would not work.” He explained while helping you up from the chair. “Let’s get some comfortable clothes for you.”
You nodded. “Wait, so Sam was wrong about you liking her?”
“Completely wrong. She’s always strictly been a sister to me but for some reason Sam thought we were more.” Sebastian clenched his fists when he thought about it.
“Okay, then who was the girl you were talking about?” You had managed to find some pj’s in the dresser while Sebastian stayed next to you, to make sure you didn’t fall or get hurt again.
“Y/n, isn’t it obvious?”
“No.”
“Surely you know I like you, a lot. In fact, I was going to ask you out at Sam’s. Before he decided to open his mouth and make assumptions.”
“You were going to ask me out?” Those were the words that had stuck out to you.
“Yes, I was and I still am. Y/n, will you be my girlfriend? You’re the only woman whose ever made me feel so appreciate.” His words were so soft.
“Follow me.” You said taking his hand and leading him toward the kitchen. He looked confused until you picked up the bouquet from the sink. “I was going to ask you out as well. Someone told me that giving the one you like a bouquet was the best way to ask them out.”
Sebastian smiled and took the bouquet. “I accept.” He then pulled you close and sealed it all with a kiss. One that took your breath away.
“So this means I get to call you my boyfriend, right?” You had a smile on your face as you asked.
He looked just as happy. “Yes it does. I am completely yours baby.” Once again his lips found yours in a deep kiss that made you feel as though you were floating in the clouds.
“Can you stay the night?” You asked softly, not wanting him to leave just yet. Not so soon after admitting your feelings for each other.
“Of course I can. Someone has to be here to make sure you’re okay in the morning.” He teased.
“I will be fine.” But you actually weren’t so sure.
Sebastian took your hand in his and led you back to the bedroom. “I think you’re going to be very sore tomorrow.” He stated.
“You’re right. I will.” You grabbed the pj’s off the dresser. “Here I have some pj pants that will fit you.” You grabbed them and handed them to him.
“Thank you.”
“Always, boyfriend.” Seb’s cheeks went pink and it was the cutest thing.
“My girlfriend is so beautiful.” He said as you walked to the bathroom. You turned to give him a wink before disappearing into the small room.
**
You and Sebastian were curled up together on your bed, just listening to each other’s heartbeats. It was an extremely calming activity that you never knew you needed. It felt like this alone could heal you.
At some point, you both drifted off to sleep in each others arms. It was the sweetest thing. You felt that you had the best sleep in a long tome with Sebastian pressed up next to you.
When morning came, you heard the calming sound of rain hitting the roof. You lived for rainy days because it meant you didn’t have to spend a lot of time watering the crops. Today that would be useful because you were so sore after yesterday.
“How are you feeling today, baby?” Sebastian’s soft morning voice asked, while pushing some hair from your face.
You turned to look at him and smiled at how adorable he was. But his hair was wet. “You were right last night, I am very sore. Why is your hair wet?”
“I went out to feed the animals. I also made sure the crops were good. Cal assisted me and well, he got more water than I did.” Seb laughed and it made you feel blissfully happy.
“You fed my animals? That’s so sweet. Thank you, Sebby.” You leaned up to kiss him, but he met you halfway, so you wouldn’t have to do too much work.
“It was the least I could do. I will happily help you whenever you need it.”
“I’m so lucky to have you.” You honestly didn’t know how you got lucky enough to meet Sebastian, but you could probably thank your grandfather.
Sebastian looked as happy as you felt. “It’s the same for me.” He then buried his face into your neck, just holding you and enjoying the moment. This was how you spent the rest of the day. Cuddled up into each other, in bed.
**
A week later, you had healed enough to be okay with leaving the house. Sebastian wanted you to come to the Friday night saloon ritual, because he wanted to show you off and he also wanted to make Sam apologize for being a dumbass.
“You look beautiful.” Sebastian said as you locked the farmhouse doors.
You smiled and looked at your boyfriend. “You look pretty good yourself.”
“Pretty good, huh?” He quipped.
“Alright, you look so good to me.” You cracked a smile as he pulled you in for a kiss.
“Are you ready for this, because going to the saloon together means everyone will know we’re together.” He said as you both walked into town.
“I’m ready Sebastian. I don’t care what anyone else thinks. I like you and I’m extremely happy to call you mine.” You squeezed his hand as you said this.
“I’m also incredibly happy to call you mine. Let’s do this.” He looked happy about this.
The two of you walked up the path that led to the saloon. In no time, you reached the place and were walking up the stairs hand in hand. As you entered the saloon, you felt like everyone was watching you.
Robin was the first to notice and actually say something. “Sebby, does this mean what I think it does?” She asked as you both stopped in front of her and Demetrius.
“Yes, meet my girlfriend, Y/n.” Robin was ecstatic. She pulled you both into a hug. Demetrius just stood silently watching the two of you.
“What do you see in him, Y/n. He does nothing but play video games in his room all day.” Demetrius sneered.
Your blood boiled. “You clearly don’t know Sebastian at all. He has a job and that’s what he does in his room. I like him a lot and I will defend him. So if you have nothing nice to say about him or us, I suggest you leave it alone.” It was a wonder how you didn’t scream this.
Sebastian felt like he was falling deeper for you, after seeing you stand up for him like that. You had started to lead him away from there when he stopped you and kissed you right there, in front of everyone.
The two of you entered the arcade room together. Abigail and Sam were already there.
“Look, oh my god! It’s official!” Abigail cheered as Sam looked up from the Joja vending machine.
He looked toward us sheepishly, still feeling angry at himself for what happened last week. “Hi guys. I am glad to see things worked out.” He said to them.
“Yeah, no thanks to you.” Sebastian teased.
“I know. I’m sorry, I am the biggest idiot.”
You shook your head. “Hey Sam, please don’t blame yourself. It happened and we recovered. Let’s move on and forget the bad?”
“Sure, I can do that.” Sam seem relieved to know you weren’t mad at him.
“Damn, I knew there was a reason why I liked you.” Sebastian whispered into your ear, making you smile. Everything felt right and you couldn’t wait to see what the future held.
