I don't have as many deep or insightful thoughts about this scene as the rest of y'all, but this scene does have a huge emotional gut punch for me. Of course, there's the obvious gut punch of Vincent finally slipping into a spiral that no one can really help him out of, but it also made me start questioning how well *I* knew Vincent in that moment as well. The moment where everyone tries to "wake him up" by reminding him of his life only to come up short for details made me start wondering how much I knew about Vincent as a person, and whether or not I'd taken his role for granted. ESPECIALLY when he asked the group "What's my oldest child's name?"

I KNEW that Taylor was featured as a character in the Lotus Eater episode and that her name was mentioned, but for the life of me I couldn't remember. And I know Vincent didn't talk about her (or his family, for that matter) all that much beforehand, but it still made me feel incredibly guilty for not knowing something like that.

On my first rewatch of the series, I sorta gave myself a side mission to try and learn as much as I could about Vincent's life before that moment, as though that could somehow stop it from happening. Marshall, Taylor, Abigail, Sam, Alex, Tom, any small moment where Vincent opened up about his past, I absorbed as many details as I could.

And of course, that only made his breakdown even more heartbreaking in the end. Great job, me XD

All that is to say, Discord Murder Party is awesome.

Watching DMP S1 is so wild. We got MG and Vinny absolutely BITCHING at each other on end and she broke his arm to keep him in line and looking back the "You're interesting, I can get used to interesting // A game for a game seems fair" Charlie probably saw a little bit of her old self in Vincent, the rebellion and fire. And it's SO funny seeing Vinny go "I'm gonna make your life hell." And look where we are guy they got out together he helped her break out of the Black Stars and she saved humanity from the everlooming threat of Fate and now she's godhunting and Vincent succeeded and all the Awakened are happy, god I love happy endings.

Sorry for the super long delay, but I'm back with more Sonic Yu-Gi-Oh! I'm honestly surprised at how much traction the Team Dark post got as opposed to the Team Sonic showcase, but I guess that's what's selling these days XD

Sonic the Hedgehog Yu-Gi-Oh, Heroes/Team Archetype

This is the first time I've posted anything like this, so wooooooooo flying bliiinndddddddd XD (And before anyone points it out, yes, I am aware of how silly the new Mobian typing is. This is mostly just me having fun XD) This is one of the first archetypes I made, primarily based on drawing out the chemistry in Team Sonic, Sonic Heroes-style. It also received SEVERAL overhauls since its creation XD

(full disclosure, I have no idea who made any of this fanart. Back in the day I kinda just grabbed anything that looked cool and saved it to my laptop because I didn't know if I'd be able to find it again. So my sincerest apologies to all the incredible artists who I unfortunately cannot credit here.)

And a bit of a bonus here, and a slight foreshadowing of things to come!

Since y'all are done looking at the cards above, I'll provide a bit of background for those who would like to hear.

About a year ago one of my friends decided to turn our friend group into Yu-Gi-Oh cards and helpfully linked the site.

I was in a YGO phase at the time and had just discovered that a large portion of the monsters and archetypes had LOOOOORREEEEE and that their effects actually lined up with it. You know, things like Gagagigo and Albaz.

So I decided to make some cards for one of my favorite things, Sonic! ...Then my friend made some cards. ...Annnd then I made some more cards. And we just kept going back and forth until I had made WAY more cards than I had originally planned to.

Then about a week ago I decided to look them over and compare them to my actual cards, and YIKES XD So many things were off. Wording, typos, whole effects that contradicted each other... so I decided to redo (and in some cases, completely overhaul) most of the cards I'd made.

And now I'm sharing them with you! I might also show off some of the cards my friend made if he's cool with it. He's a LOT better at making these than I am^^ I hope y'all enjoy and that this inspires you to make stuff even better than this! I mean, it shouldn't be too hard, right? XD
