CAMREN BICONDOVA: Halle inspired me as an actress throughout those five years [on 'Gotham'] and still does! Halle is a powerhouse with crazy athleticism, versatility, and depth. Her work is reflective of her consistent effort to be curious and knowledgeable about her characters. She showed that in her rendition of Catwoman and is still doing it 20 years later. Halle exudes femininity through her strength and class. She carries curiosity and perseverance in her eyes. She’s one who takes her job seriously and does it well. But, more importantly, she broke down doors so others could walk through them — and did that with style and grace. To me, it’s what made her perfect to play Catwoman. Just like Catwoman has been *that* girl, Halle Berry has been *that* woman and forever will be.

LILI SIMMONS: Halle’s performance is iconic. When you think of Catwoman, you think of her; her fluidity in movement while nailing every scene; effortlessly sexy, powerful, and grounded. I think seeing her as Catwoman brought a strength to young girls around the world in knowing that they, too, could be action heroes — not just men.
