How would react Killer Croc, Penguin, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Scarecrow and Riddler if they facing Death ? And I don't mean it metaphorically or rhetorically or poetically or theoretically or any other fancy way. The Death. Straight, up.💀
The PIBTLW reference put the biggest smile on my face you have no idea. Also, you have no idea how nice it is to get an ask like this. Brownie points to you, my dude.
tw: Death
Killer Croc
Croc fights to the death. He's had to fight for his life since he was born and he isn't going to die now. Not to some weirdo in a black cape. (At least not the other weirdo in the black cape.)
When he realizes that it's Death he fights with everything that he's got only for him to feel the cold steel of his blade. Normally blades have a tougher time cutting through his leather-like skin. He's shocked when the last thing he feels is it cutting him down to the bone.
Penguin
If it was a public fight he'd try to outsmart death. If they're in private he bargains with Death. He tries to say he'll change his ways, he'll bribe death with whatever he can. He doesn't want to die. It's really pathetic truth be told.
It's all for nothing and Penguin would accept it in his last moments.
Scarecrow
Honestly, he'd think it's a hallucination at first. He's used to seeing different forms of death due to his fear toxin so he just thinks it's another variation of it. Normally the phantom blades pass through him and then they dissipate.
Only this blade cuts him, right across his throat.
Then he wakes up in the afterlife and realizes it wasn't in his mind. It was real. He yells as loud as he can about what an outrage this is. How dare Death presume.
After all, he is a god too. A god of fear and gods cannot die.
Catwoman
Catwoman also fights for her life. She probably makes some jokes about having 9 lives but after realizing Death's strength she figures out he's the real deal and not some new crazed villain.
Out of all of the rogues, she's the most likely to actually try talking with Death and I think Death would stop fighting and be straight with her.
"There's nothing I can do, Gato. Now if you'll come with me."
That being said I do think Selina would try running as far as she could but after a certain point, she'd know it's time and would go willingly. Why waste her precious time fighting the inevitable?
Harley Quinn
Harley also thinks it's a hallucination but she can't help but notice how real this one feels. When she realizes there's a real threat she fights him with everything in her arsenal. Mallets, guns, baseball bats the works.
Death isn't having any of it and would end up taking her life quickly.
Once Harley figures out they're the real death she goes into a kinda fangirl mode. After all, she's a huge fan of his work. She'd try to befriend death in the afterlife. Like an annoying puppy that won't stop following Death around.
After about a week death would probably have half a mind to bring her back to life just to get her to stop.
Riddler
He doesn't lose. He can't lose, even to death. He won't allow it. Eddie will go down kicking and screaming. He can try fighting off death as much as he'd like. He'd research Lazarus Pits, and life equations but Death would catch him before he'd see any of those plans come to fruition.
He would never beg but he would have the ego to think he could outsmart and trick death. He is very surprised when Death doesn't fall for any of his flatteries or deceptions.
When he dies he's worried not that he'll go to hell, but that he'll have to see his family again.

What would do Waylon, after Arkham Knight events, if theres a baby clone of him ? The baby is small enough to fit in his hands. The nurse seem to genuily care about the little one and is very protective.
This isn't an angst idea. Sorry.

I randomly got the concept in my head. Lyle Bolton who not only abuses his powers as a guard but also goes out of his way to set up that lucky few rogues who were able to go clean for the murders they didn’t actually commit.
Which, obviously, no one believes in, bc with their reputation it’s kind of hard to prove that they didn’t kill that particular person.
Anon if you would allow me I am kissing you with tongue.
Lyle would 100% do that. The more vague the crime the more likely he is to try and frame a rouge.
I imagine he has a partner in the GCPD who can tamper with the crime scenes and leave behind the 'incriminating evidence'. He leaves burlap, question marks and playing cards at any crime scenes.
Batman, being the worlds greatest detective, knows something is up but he can't for the life of him figure it out. All the evidence points to a rogue committing the crime but he knows them well enough to know that they didn't do the specific crime.
The rogues are pissed as well. Their reputations are being tarnished and they can't defend themselves. Even if they have a solid alibi the juries don't want to believe that they didn't do it. The smarter rogues are able to figure out fairly early on that their being framed and they try to get to the bottom of it.
It sucks for the rogues who actually want to try and reform. They're trying to change and yet more and more evidence keeps piling up upon them. It's an inescapable pit that consumes them.

Bookworm from Batman 60s hcs? (I’ll kill for angsty ones)
You mentioned that you watched 60s version so I really hope that you know who he is, but if not feel free to ignore this one
BRO BOOKWORM WAS A CHILDHOOD FAVE I'M SO GLAD YOU'VE ASKED THIS!!!! If the Batman 60s writers won't give him an established backstory then I will!
Bookworm grew up poor. His family always just had enough money for the essentials and not much else. Since he didn't have much money for activities he was sent to the library often as a child. The library became his second home, which he began to prefer over his actual home. He often found comfort in fictional characters rather than in real people. There was always an awkward tension between his parents regarding money so he tried to avoid home as much as possible.
There was also the fact that the more well-read he became the more eager he was to go to a good university however due to him being from a working-class background his parents told him that was never going to happen. He knew deep in his soul he deserved better than a life sweating away in a factory for scraps of payment.
Then as he got older he learned about the world of publishing. Finally, he'd found a group of people who felt the same way about books that he did. He'd finally found his people. And he was going to break into that circle of people no matter what it took.
Writing became a sort of pastime for him. He tried to get himself published only to be met with multiple rejection letters. We're talking over a hundred different rejection letters. He wrote in every different genre and yet not a single one was picked up or accepted. Every single one cited that his plots 'Lacked originality though there was one that stated that he 'Lacked the proper qualifications'
It decimates his self-esteem, thinking he isn't good enough. So he reads more, after all the advice he's always told is the more you read the better of a writer you become. So that was what kickstarted him to read more, gaining the skills he needed to finally get the validation he deserved.
And one day. He gets a letter from a publisher saying that two people want to meet up and have lunch with him. His heart could burst from his chest. He gets so excited that he's finally been seen for the first time in his life. He goes to the lunch and meets up with two writers from the publishing firm.
The lunch doesn't go how he expects. They ask him a lot of seemingly irrelevant questions and seem to make notes whenever he says something in a specific way. Any time he tries to bring up his own manuscripts they either change the subject or ignore it altogether.
A week later as he's reading a short story in a magazine he reads a story with a familiar conversation. They've made him the villain of the story, using his accent and all. They've used him as inspiration for their plot and yet they claimed he lacked originality?
Bookworm breaks after reading it. It's at this moment he realizes that being good and trying to do things the lawful way will never get him where he wants to be in life. He creates his villainous persona. He sheds his accent and replaces it with the one he'd use while committing his crimes, that very clear pronounced English that makes him sound very upper class.
His first crime. Burning the two writers alive in their office and leaving a copy of 'Fahrenheit 451' in their office.

Sorry if you answered something similar before, but back to your medical torture post.
I always enjoyed the idea of Batman fully realizing how damaging and opposite of helpful Arkham mostly is but he has no other options because it’s not like he can let them just run around.
And him having emotional breakdowns from time to time after seeing post-affects of all of that like bruises that was too specific that the rogue could get it themselfs.
He really wish there was a better option
Hohohohhohohohohohohhohooh.
Bruce tries his hardest to use his money to make things better. No matter how much money he tries to provide to get better training and better resources he realizes the problem can only be partially solved with his Wayne foundation resources.
The main issue is about the relationship between the doctors and the rogues. There's too much mistrust between the two. Even when a rogue does want to get better the doctor's first assumption is that they want to trick them so they can get out and go back to crime. And the rogues all assume the doctors are abusive prick bags.
Bruce tries making special programs to help specific rogues but at the end of the day most of them assume it's a trick of some kind, why would a billionaire give a shit about them? They never have before so they wouldn't start now.
Bruce wants so badly for all of them to get better but he can't figure out how. He's only one man and he's already trying to do so much on top of everything else. Alfred and the batfam try to comfort him the best they can but there's only so much they can do.

I just recently learned that Edward Nygma a,k,a, the Riddler is autistic. Color me surprised. You see when I was listening to the Batman audio adventures on HBO Max and I noticed there’s something off about how his voice actor was using his character and it dawned on me because I too am autistic, so I looked it up and yes his is on the spectrum.
Yeah! I haven't listened to the Batman adventures yet but I know I should.

Hi, could we please get some angst of riddler teaching his child everything he knows about tech I. The hopes that they join him only for them to join the Batfam?
Ed took in the kid. The kid was essentially a younger version of himself. Skinny, nerdy and insanely smart. Seeing so much of himself in the kid he knew exactly what he needed to do. He needed to mould the kid into a mini-me. He took the kid and taught him everything that he knew about technology and engineering.
When the kid joins the Batfam Ed is furious. He will kill the kid the next time he sees them. Ed doesn't take betrayals lightly. Underneath his rage is utter heartbreak.

What would do Killer Croc, Penguin, Scarecrow, Riddler and Harley Quinn about batman who abandoned a sidekick, who is still a child ?
Killer Croc and Riddler- He doesn't care about the kid. Sure he feels guilty but all kids go through tough shit.
Penguin and Scarecrow- Penguin and Scarecrow are master manipulators and when a sidekick gets abandoned they can smell the opportunity a mile away. A young kid who's pissed off at Batman? They'll turn that kid against him in a second. Even if they need to torture that kid into submission they'll make it work.
Harley- Harley will take in the kid but then instantly endanger them with the lifestyle.

How would react Riddler, Penguin and Killer Croc if he see a younger version of so and find out their trauma ?
Killer Croc- A younger Waylon sees how much his body has transformed and is horrified at how his adult self looks. He thought that they would have found a treatment for his condition in the future. Killer croc isn't kind to his younger self. He doesn't think he deserves it.
Riddler- Riddler yells at the younger version of Eddie for being so stupid. If he was smart he wouldn't have fucked up his life so much. Young Eddie doesn't know why the older version of himself is yelling at him so much but it only causes him to cry.
Penguin- Young Ozzie is so happy at how his older self turned out. He's rich, a business owner and made something for himself. Oswald is thrilled at seeing how successful he's become. Penguin doesn't have the heart to tell young Ozzie how much suffering he has yet to go through.

Tumblr media
I like all of the Penguins but 60s/BTAS will always hold a special place in my heart. I met Robin Lord Taylor at a con when I went through my Gotham phase and he was so lovely. Even when I ended up not liking Gotham towards the end I still think he was fun to watch. He's just a 'Little guy'.

character bingo hbo titans dick grayson and donna troy?
Talia al ghul (just whatever version you want) ?
Slade wilson (any version) ?
Tumblr media
Titans Dick: I've only watched the first 3 episodes and I'm not gonna lie. It's really boring to me. Sorry lad. He's a pretty boy but not much else. So I haven't met Donna Troy so I'm not doing a square for her.
Tumblr media
Slade: He's a dickhead but would I get railed by him? Yes.
Tumblr media
Talia: I prefer her when she's not being portrayed as a nonce. Like she's not my favourite but when she's done well she can be amazing. Also, I'm not personally a fan of Talia x Jason but if other people like it fair enough.

If Waylon had a younger cousin/sibling, he would be the one to raise them because of his aunt "condition ". Do you have any headcannons about it ?
Croc being a parent HC's
He does try and care for the kid but it's hard going into stores and buying baby formula or kids' clothing. Y'know when you're a giant crocodile man. Especially when you're a criminal crocodile man.
If the child is a baby then Croc struggles. He's used to only caring for himself so to care for a small screaming human isn't ideal. His patience is thin in the beginning and he can't stand the kid. Only taking care of it because it's family. I'd imagine he soon grows to legitimately care for the wee bab.
I can see Croc thinking he's not good enough to raise the kid. He got screwed up by his aunt and he knows in his head he'd only screw up the kid. He knows the cycle and he wants to break it. Even if it means losing a family member. (He could be if he took parenting courses and got therapy but he's not going to do that.)

Okay so... any ideas about medical torture that could be used in Arkham?
Goodness, I'm so sorry I thought I'd answered this. TW Extreme medical malpractice/Abuse
Electrotherapy: It can be effective if it was being used properly. This is Arkham so it's not. They'll use dangerous voltages. It's not even to heal them at this point they just want to use it as a means of vengeance for the crimes that they committed.
Lobotomies: This is used on the lesser-known patients as if they did it to a major villain there'd be an investigation and they'd find all the other dubious shit that goes down in Arkham. Still, it is easier to work with criminals when they subdue them.
Restraints: The restraints are so tight around them. They dig into their necks, wrists and legs. It can leave them with severe scarring if the patient thrashes around enough.
Drugging: Medication is given out like sweets to the inmates. If it keeps them docile they'll give them anything to ease their burden. Most of the inmates figure out how to get out of swallowing it but they'll find a way.
