I'm reading Wuthering Heights for the first time, and homeboy Lockwood just came unannounced and uninvited to Heathcliff's place knowing he dislikes people AND THEN COMPLAINED when people reacted poorly to it and didn't comply to his demands. Like mister, they are not the ones being rude right now.

Hi little potatoes! sorry for disappearing and not posting anything for a while now.

Uni is getting too much. Too much task to do and not enough time. I’m having my bachelorette degree at the end of may and beginning of June. After that I’ll come back with regular drawings again!

I thought I’ll share with you the sketches I started doing for my graphic design portfolio (applied there too haha). These are for book covers which I hope I’ll have enough time to finish. Let me know what you think of them, and don’t be shy to recommend books to do covers for :D

This Independent Bookstore Day was everything I needed. Post-layoff, and especially after this past week, I really needed this day of celebrating bookish spaces and the incredible bookstore owners of Chicago.

7 hours, 15 bookstores! I had to restrain myself while still supporting our amazing indies. I tried to funnel my energy into buying books for my friends’ kids, but even so, I took home a good couple reads for myself. And now I have 15% off for the year! Thanks to my partner for taking photos and helping me to carry all these books, and to all the kind booksellers I saw in person today. 🩵

Having said that, the book can probably be best summed up by the author themself. “For those who, like me, struggle with crafting a sense of themselves in the world, acknowledging the inescapable messiness of queer life can be liberating.
