New year update / diary entry #1

The new PC is officially paid off months in advance thanks to commission work I've been doing for the past few months yaayyyy so that's a huge stressor gone. I've also been fixing the house as I go, so after we fixed the bathroom pipes the other year, we're now finally working on putting the walls back together and will be getting more ceramic so that the bathroom will be fully finished and out of our backs. The most expensive thing has been the labor, but now we can finally afford it.

After that, I will be hoping to fix the pipes that run over my door, which have been leaking since the repair and everytime we tighten up they just come lose and leak again. It's getting on my nerves lol.

Buying a new door would be nice, too. All our doors except the front one are broken in some way, so in total I'll have to buy 3 inside doors and 1 outside door for the back... THEN once all that is done I'm planning on painting the rooms and fixing the humidity damage of the walls!! It's been a long few years but it's all coming together.

This year I will finally be starting therapy if all goes well. I'm looking forward to it. One thing I'd love to do once I get better is start carpentry :-))

And if someone is reading my diary, some of you may have noticed that I deleted my main blog- sorry to the people I was in the middle of having convos with, but for my own safety and mental health I had to delete everything asap!

I rarely get online here and it's been great, sorry. I get DMs, tags and asks of people being inappropiate/weird with me or my art simply because I draw gnc women AS A butch woman, and as someone that has been stalked before, as well as fetishized for being a brown butch, I had to just get rid of it all. I still appreciate the love and support I have received, but the bad outweighed the good so I had to take a step back. This is now the only blog I exist on tumblr with, and will continue to post art here but that will be all.

You can still send me anonymous asks -just don't be fucking weird since I am a real person behind the screen- but DMs are closed.

I'm also not on twitter anymore, for obvious reasons. It's a far right hellscape full of AI and grifters. I'm mostly on bluesky, which is my main website now. I'm more active there if you'd like to see me talk about nothing in between art posts.
