lowkey hate when people say “Caitlyn becoming a dictator/waging war on jinx and zaun was unjustified 🥺” like okay imagine you watch your commander (who was NOT a good person) die and then your not-a-girlfriend breaks up with you and THEN you get kidnapped by her psychotic sister while butt naked and probably kept hostage for atleast a day and put through very very trauma inducing if not down right torturous situations (based off storyboards) and then said psycho sis gives your not-a-girlfriend an ultimatum of you or her and then when your not-a-girlfriend picks you (not really) she shoots up the place and you witness silco’s death and also she knocks you out and THEN you wake up just to watch her send a literal freaking NUKE at the council’s headquarters (?) which BLOWS UP your mom along with like 70% of her coworkers (and your homeboy’s homeboy who then lowkey becomes a god but that’s not really your problem) and then the “leaders” of Zaun (who may or may not be working with physco sister) crash the funeral you’re trying to have for your mom and nearly kill your homeboy in the process and THEN (though this is kind of after ep 3) the councilors are thinking of war with Zaun and then the golden hottie who you might be slightly attracted too’s hot general mom comes to visit and takes advantage of you (mind you you’ve had hardly ANY TIME to process any of this and you’re not a zaunite meaning to YOU this is something you’ve never envisioned happening and have also never witnessed happening so it’s not like you can be “used to it”) like yeah I think I’d crash out and become a dictator and hunt down the crazy chick who caused 80% of my (and my ex-girlfriend’s) problems too

Went from having barely a page done on my metal band au Caitvi fic Noteworthy chapter 6 to dropping 3k more words and finishing the chapter in the span of a few hours. Anywho, sent to my beta reader and should be up by Friday at the latest.
