My Greatest Passion

It is so good to see you again, but then the look in your eyes tells me that you no longer know me and what's strange is that you also change.

You ask a constant question about me, you avoid constant questions I ask about how was your life in the old one.

You met with him today, my brother. I remember now that it wasn't just me and you, there was my brother too. He and I weren't that close when you left. I remember that you were the only thing we have in common with other than our parents back then. You were surprised when we acted more like siblings rather than bickering neighbors.

I remember you once when you came for dinner at our house was when we first met. Later I saw you at a coffee shop we both visited then I learned you were the daughter of my father's friend. That, he enjoys his Friday afternoon with, riding big horses in the woods or plains.

We became friends then. I don't know how I started to look forward to our evening walks whenever you come with your father to our villa. I know it wasn't always, I know for a fact that you only visit there whenever my brother is there.

You know well what my brother was, "never settle for the one" is who he is and there was more than just one "the one". So I was surprised when he took you into notice. So I, as the older brother, have to respect him. Like I did to you all those years ago. I was the respectable older brother, Arthur. That will inherit all my fathers' possessions and businesses, which are growing by the day. I can not oppose my only brother that I love more than my happiness.

When you came back, your first trip was with your dad, riding horses with him, my father, me, and all the other men and women who you didn't bother to know their names.

You were disappointed when you came there and met my father and me for the first time since you left. Later I learned from the very same old ladies that told you one of the grandsons of Arthur Vincent will come that very day, that you only came that day because you thought that the younger son of Clark Vincent was there. Only to be disappointed when you saw the eldest son.

I remember our last encounter when you kissed me and made me feel like the happiest man in the world only to find out in the morning that you thought it was Davion, my brother. You blamed the alcohol, of course, I didn't let my emotions show, being in the business world had taught me that skill and which in time became my neutral talent.

You went out on a few dates with my brother, later I learned you've become a couple. It was the worst day of my life. I wanted to cry, I wished that the Earth would eat me alive and burn me within its molten core. I warned my brother to treat you right and not like all those women he comes and goes with. I admit I was surprised when I saw the sincerity in his eyes.

I was tasked to distract you while my brother plans a surprise proposal for you. I had other plans that day to go to sea with my yacht, you know I only do this to relax and I invited you to relax with me. We left early, the whole time we were out to sea bombarding me with questions after questions. When you asked if I like someone, I told you the story of my great passion, leaving your name blank. You asked me who she is, I was going to tell you "it is you" but then the image of my brother proposing to you made me say "She left and I have never met her again since." You never bothered me after that and the ride home was quiet.

When we came to the dock, we went straight to my home saying that "I need to pick up something at my house". You were the first one to enter my home, I waited a moment outside the door and I heard Davison's words as he proposed to you, you replied with a sobbing yes. When I finally dared to go in, you were hugging each other, you met eyes with me and you smiled. That's when I knew you were both in love and I must respect that. Though the burning pain in my heart surged like wildfire, I smiled and left for my cottage on the other side of my property. Leaving the rest of the house to you, my brother, and your guests.

I came to your wedding day, I was the best man. As I was there looking at you walking the red carpet to the man you love, it made me imagine that I was the one who was getting married. We met eye to eye when you were nearly close to us, I thought I lost my breath when I saw how beautiful you were and how I almost wanted to sweep you away from my brother.

Since that day, I have never bothered you or my brother. We meet once in a while at dinner at my parents' home. But never in constant contact. You asked me once why I don't come to my brother or some other party and I'll always reply "I have a very busy schedule." Or "I have a meeting today."

Abigail, my sweet Abby. You were my happiness, the love of my life, and my greatest passion. I will always remember you in my heart. I will cherish the friendship and good memories we have. You will forever be my greatest passion. Heaven is where you and I kissed eachother, is where you and I are in love.

The first time Lena sleeps with Supergirl, it is by accident. 

Or, well, not fully, of course. As the laws of consensual sex dictate, both of them are completely and enthusiastically aware of what is happening at all times: from the moment Supergirl’s boots touch down on the balcony of Lena’s penthouse, via the dutiful exchange of “are you okay”s and “just my quarterly assassination attempt”s, up to the exact second when Supergirl leans in and Lena decides to fuck it, it’s not like things will ever work out with Kara anyway.

So, yes, in a way, the whole thing is unequivocally intentional and really, by definition, not an accident at all.

It is also breathtakingly good. Not that Lena hasn’t always guessed that Supergirl would be spectacular in bed. Between her toned body and gentle disposition - not to mention a hero complex that practically spells out service top - she’s probably every lesbian’s wet dream. Lena, much as it upsets her to be so goddamn predictable, is not exempt from the group. Nor are her expectations disappointed. Leave it to Supergirl to one-up the eloquent fantasies that a Luthor brain can come up with over the course of five months of maddening sexual tension between her gay as fuck self and the flying piece of pure muscle that is National City’s resident superhero. 

So, the sex is great. And deliberate. And, scientifically speaking, pretty close to perfect, judged by the high values in both quantity and quality of climaxes. Objectively the best sex Lena’s had in a long time, possibly ever. Except for one small but unshakeable fact.

Supergirl is not Kara.
