what a journey! this piece isn't even super complicated, but its such a departure in so many ways from what i'm used to that it ended up taking about a month to finish, just because I could never get it to look right. i think im proud of the final result though :)

the original name of this piece was "condolences, and then life goes on." great song, heartbreaking vibes. gave me many ideas for symbolism (^^)v

not to be mean but maybe lets not draw the hermits as supremely evil spirits whose energy you’re not even supposed to draw attention to. the deer monster depiction in itself is already a disrespectful stereotype/misrepresentation of native american folklore

to be honest, I am so incredibly sorry, I only meant to put a fun spin on the gem deer thing, and I did try to research it, it was just incredibly hard to filter through the misconceptions. It’s more wendigo inspired, apologies to anyone offended, I did not mean to be hurtful, and was aware it was a stereotype, I just thought it looked cool when I looked up eldritch deers on google.

hey not trying to be rude but the w*ndigo is a thing of native american folklore that shouldn’t really be made as a headcanon. it isn’t just a cryptid. again not trying to be rude just wanted to give you a heads up

Sorry I didn’t mean to be, I tried to reasearch it, but the explinations I found were all folklore, and less the actual history. It’s more so my interpretation, and is not meant to be disrespectful, I am truly sorry to anyone I offended, I just thought it was a cool spin on a character/person I admire.
