P3R & The Answer

So after I beat p3r for the first time last night. I then went and watched a cutscene compilation of the answer since that's the dlc coming out later in the year, and on paper this seems fine but the tournament arc in particular seems just really stupid. In terms of gameplay, i'm sure they can think of a way to fix it. Though overall arcs like that? I'm not sure how much they can fix. I know the new s-links with the male party members in p3r weren't in the original. Perhaps they can add some new story beats that make things feel more natural? Here's to hoping though.

Persona 3

I did it. I beat persona 3 reloaded for the first time. This is it. It's probably one of the best games i've played ever. God, I am so sad it is over.

Writing idea

Gonna start making lil posts about random ideas that I have that I don't have the capability of writing. Feel free to steal or whatever. Here's my toxic gay story idea. Let's call em X and Y. X tried to kill Y, but Y just won't die. Because of this, X keeps trying to kill Y in new ways and gradually becomes more obsessed with Y as the story goes on. Y looks forward to X's attempts and becomes more infatuated the harder X tries. They key things: -Y, in the narrative, cannot permanently die. -Toxic romantic undertones must be established -It must be gay.

Time travel story idea

Guy gets sent back X amount of years, but *cannot* die until the day he would normally do so if he had not been travelled back in time at all. For example: If the guy was supposed to die on like. September 21st 4084 and got sent back to January 20th 1803 the universe would not permit him to die until September 21st 4084 and prevent his death in various ways until then.

HHHHH I wanna reblog stuff for Slay the Princess but I can't because it's all spoilers and it's one of those games where you should go into it knowing as little as possible because it's just that good and I don't wanna spoil anyone. At the same time, I really wanna interact with the fan made stuff of the new dopamine mine.

Reading/Watching Scott Pilgrim for the first time.

So. I marathoned the entirety of Scott Pilgrim (the comics) and the Netflix series over the past few days and this was my first introduction to the series as a whole.

Comics: Ok it has a lot of interesting aspects and a few funny moments that kept me invested. However it's general lack of any solid rules really kept taking me out of it. Some aspects of it could really use some more development. Did not appreciate the slur usage. Really felt like what you would read as a gay teen in 2004.

The show (oh boy): Strong start but it got weaker as time went on. I think the thing that really took me out of it is that it's doubling as a sequel to the comic run and having old Scott and old Ramona, from the comic run, end up the way they did. It just didn't really sit right with me. Like, really? Six volumes about trying to change for each other and this is where it leads? Maybe i'm more annoyed with the execution rather than the idea though. I feel like a good amount of characters felt underdeveloped, such as Knives who mostly changed in the background rather than a strong dedicated focus on her. That's better than being gone entirely I guess. Where is Lisa. Where is she. Oh and the twist of "vegan robot that can open time portals" feels like such a copout. Something about the humor as a whole just didn't grab me this time. Dunno exactly why.

The series as a whole though? Banger character designs and I want more out of them.

The Adversary Route

Spoilers!

What do you mean you don't think the adversary is a romance route? Do you not get the intricacies of locking yourself into battle forever with one person and only that person? To be with them forever as you tear each other apart with lethal intent, while also certain that the other can never truly die? That they'll give you everything they have and then some? and that you in turn will do the same? Do you not see that this route is a blood stained paradise and that both parties wouldn't have it any other way?

Frisk and Chara

I hope Frisk and Chara do end up having deltarune counterparts. Like, I know that Kris miiight be some sorta hybrid counterpart to the both of them but that's not quite what I want to see. I wanna see like, a Frisk and Chara that go to college with Asriel, alive and as their own characters.

Could even have a boss fight or something, I dunno.
