saw a theory that the SmokeStack twins were posing as one man in Chicago, which helped them get away with stealing from both sides. i'm poised to believe that because visually their clothing was very clearly of the two mobs. smoke was full irish— tweed, bowler hat. while stack had the full mafia look. yk italian leather shoes, fedora etc etc . like the details!!

Like these three move as a unit half of the time. Steve trying to perform the biggest I can fix him in history on Bucky. Sam and Steve being the cutest duo/work husbands to ever and Sam and Bucky’s lowkey common law marriage when cap leaves? They all got something going on.

No because Sam navigating living his life after being on ice and having no one to relate to till Bucky, at first I was like “Oh, Cap, you’re doing too much for this man you barely know” but LOOK at it from both angles.

Bucky representing his past, mending his old wounds through their relationship and Sam representing his future? Like he literally gives the mantle to that man. They’re literally two parts of him that make him whole, and Sam does somewhat the same thing for Bucky but with this enemies to lovers aspect contrasting to how easily Sam and Steve just click. And how dare you even suggest that Sam doesn’t love Bucky and Steve to death?

Literally the wings/flight, the arrow (metaphorically. bucky uses guns) and the shield combo, covering all bases, the work husbands potential is insane.

In conclusion, the man of the past, the man of the future and the man of the present should all kiss and be very weird about it.

I think mostly what young fandom types (and I guess younger people in general) who are very very invested in the idea that “20 is still basically a minor” need to understand is that the feeling of “I’m just a child pretending to be an adult, and everyone else around me is a REAL adult” is DEEPLY universal (and won’t stop, ever, by the way, sorry!) and also is not, like, praxis.

Believe me, I get it, but the self-infantilization needs to stop, especially when you’re trying to engage in conversations about actual children and the harms they can face. Yes, it is scary to wake up and realize you’re 22 and you still feel like you’re 15, but it happens to all of us. You’re an adult. You have to deal with it.

I need the thunderbolts following Bucky around like little ducklings, and Sam thinking it's the funniest thing he's ever seen.

Something like,

"Man, I better never hear a god damn bird joke from you again when you're over there looking like mother goose."

Sam also thinks Steve would have absolutely loved this.
