Today was one of those moments where I was listening to my daughter talk and looking at her mannerisms and expressions and it hit me! My baby girl is growing up and I was wondering how many times did I blink my eyes. It’s crazy how time flies but at the same time you look at your pride and joy blossom into this beautiful flower and appreciate all the moments you had with her. Yes! Being a dad is truly the best thing that has ever happened to me. Initially, being a dad to a daughter was slightly terrifying and beautiful at the same time. After going through many struggles and learning as much as I did, I can now say I’m a proud dad and this role nothing but beautiful. This year has been off to a great start no doubt. I’ve been blessed with opportunities and the chance to connect with so many. 2019 has had many moments that went through many emotions but overall it was an amazing year. One things for sure, I had a blast with my baby girl. I’ve also found my purpose in leading a life to help contribute to the fatherhood community. Being an advocate and a voice for fathers of all kinds has been a growing passion I’m excited about.
