What am I even supposed to say anymore? How do I explain myself to others? I'm terrible at explaining things. Even if I tried, still no one would fully understand. I'll try to explain something right now, I guess. When it comes to how I see myself…

I feel like I'm everything, and everyone. Yet, nothing and no one at the same time. Yet, not at the same time, yet, all at once, and neither, and both, and... I can't even understand it myself. I feel like I am infinite, yet, finite. I am life, I am death. Light, dark. Good, bad. Pure, evil. Love, hate. Peace, chaos. Calm, anxious. Creation, destruction. Beautiful, ugly. Happy, sad. Left, right. Ocean, land. Water, air. Fire, ice. Stone, snow. Nature, humanity. All animals, no animals. All humans, no humans. Man, woman. Both, neither. All life, no life. All death, no death. Eternity, not eternity. Eternal, non-eternal. All time, no time. Existence, non-existence. Existing, not existing. Real, unreal. Alive, unalive. Dead, undead. God, not god. Goddess, not goddess. Supernatural, natural. Mystical, non-mystical. Mythical, non-mythical.Mythological, non-mythological. Divine, infernal. Celestial, cosmical.

I am all opposites, and similarities, and everything in between, and everything surrounding. Yet, neither opposites, nor similarities, nor anything in between, nor everything surrounding. At the same time, yet not at the same time. It feels like all a blur in my head, a fog, a cloud. Yet, clear. It feels like wires tangled and knotted in my mind. Yet, untangled and unknotted.

It feels like my mind is just a cave, and the only hole of an exit is blocked off by one singular ginormous boulder, and a man is trying to get free by going at the rock with a chainsaw, never making any progress. Yet, the cave is empty, and the way is open, boulder pushed to the side, or never existed in the first place. It is all so confusing and complicated and complex. Yet so simple, and easy, and basic.

This is how I can explain what I feel every single second of my existence. I don't I know how to live like this, with myself. I don't know how I feel like this, or why. Sometimes I feel like I'm God and sometimes I feel like he's me. Why do I feel like this, like it's true? Is it true? Am I delusional? Probably both. Probably neither. I am me, yet I am you, yet I am everyone, yet l am everything, yet l am no one, yet l am nothing. I am, and I'm not. The only other way I can explain this is with these three dots lol.

Ɐ + N/AHAA - Together in Difference

Ɐ (derived from the mathematical symbol meaning 'for all', and pronounced as 'Turned A') is a symbol/term for any and all within our overlapping communities.

We (those involved in coining this term) realised there was no actual term that encompasses all identities, seeing as not everyone identifies with alterhuman or nonhuman.

This symbol is for:

Anyone and everyone who doesn't identify with the traditional definition of humanity. This involves alterhumanity, nonhumans, therians, human and nonhuman fictionkin, otherkin, endels, holotheres, clinical zoanthropes, linkers, otherhearted, and ANYONE else who has an addition to their humanity, isn't human in the slightest, and everything in between.

Anyone who is ready to celebrate the overlaps between our communities, and allow us to experience a wider community without trying to put everyone under a human or not human label.

The celebration of being different! To laugh in the face of 'cringe' and embrace your unique experience of life.

We're also, in this post, coining the acronyms N/AHAA and/or ASAA! These are Non/Alterhuman and Adjacents, and Alterspecies and Adjacents! They both mean exactly the same as Ɐ, but are an easier to pronounce alternative.

The symbols in the pictures are completely free to use! They also don't have to be pawprints - we're working on alternate versions for different species.

I want to indulge in my nonhuman selves some more. I do most days, but in a more fictional manner. My heart, mind and soul all live in a different world, but the majority of my consciousness, existence, and presence is here on this stupid earth, the literal last place where I would ever want to be, especially in this body, with next to no family or friends. I wanna get deep into my Raptor Shifter or Draconic Merfolk selves again. I feel them, I’m just not as motivated to express them as much these days.

Under the cut is unrelated to my identities, and more so of a rant…

On a separate but still related note…thanks to my newfound lifestyle and morals, I sort of feel indirectly outcasted by the therian and such communities, and I’m too sensitive these days to explain to people certain things. I’m not strong or smart enough. I give up on trying to connect with others, I’m just too different from everyone else and no one likes me for it in the end anyway, so that’s why I’ve isolated myself…not like anyone asked or cared…and if someone did care enough to interact, they’re probably on my dni list, interacting anyway and saying things like “you hurt my feelings / you’re wrong because blah blah blah…”

Just leave me alone, man. If you disagree or don’t like it, just leave. Just block me and move on, that’s all you have to do. Don’t send me asks. Don’t message me. Don’t comment on my posts. Don’t reblog my posts and slander me. Don’t cause me anxiety and pain. Don’t cause me stress or suffering. I just wanna be left alone and thrive with only the people who understand and accept. I don’t want to deal with people anymore. Everyone is always the same. Everyone is unable to see or change. I can’t even trust or rely on people who are “similar” to me…

Okay, tell that to the soul that died so you can have a messed up prodded and poked and ripped apart and put back together again dead innocent animal that didn’t want to die just to be a decoration or something to be put on a shelf or wall to collect dust and be stared at because it was made to be “pretty/cool” when it was already the most beautiful living thing to exist before it died just to be gutted and stuffed again. They are living, breathing creatures that long to live, not to be your sick “art” or trophies.

Oh wait, you can’t. Because they’re dead.

On a side note, if you support taxidermy, which is cruelty to animals, you are supporting the suffering of animals, whether you buy or obtain from hunters/trappers or from an antique/thrift shop, you are still causing pain to animals in some way or another, namely financially or morally. You cannot make excuses, you are wasting your breath. Ethical is not a thing, it is only used to pull you in so you feel like you’re not harming any animals, when in reality, you are. Taxidermy is morally and factually wrong.

many people find excuses to indulge in cruelty. simply don't do this.

Speaking as a disabled person, it really rubs me the wrong way when people focus on an animal's "purpose," whether that's domesticated animals such as dogs and cows, or wild animals such as mosquitoes and wasps. Nothing needs a reason to exist. You don't have to be useful for your life to matter.

Hello to everyone who sees this. I haven’t been around for a while because I just haven’t felt apart of the community for some time now, and I think a different side of me has blossomed into my identity now. I don’t know if I consider myself a therian and such anymore, as I can’t seem to find my place in these or any community in general no matter where I wander off to. Despite being iffy about the label, my identities are still very much apart of me, just more subconsciously now, and I want to thrive in a different light now. I’ve made a side blog for this very light, more so of a safe space for me to express my current self.
