In short, I thought Inside out was a very cute movie. It was definitely aimed for younger kids and parents. But all in all it was a pretty cute and heartwarming story. I’ll be uploading a full video review tomorrow so stay tuned for that. It’ll also include a super cute giveaway! And check out my last video for a Pop! Vinyl giveaway!
Have a magical night guys!

Walt Disney World New Years Fireworks 2015!
Being inside the magic kingdom when the clock strikes midnight is one of the best feelings in the world. I've had the joy of being there for the last 3 years in a row and decided to film it this year for everyone else to be able to enjoy a little bit of the wonder and amazement.
Happy New Year everyone!

This week's must do monday is an attempt to notice the little things that the imagineers leave for us. Ride queues are particularly imagined in order to get the viewers hyped and ready for the ride. They introduce subtle hints for the visitors to understand the back story and immerse themselves within the environments.
One of the best of these is the garden from the tower of terror. The small hints within the architecture point towards the supernatural element while still retaining the show of the traditional architecture and art deco influences.

This week's Must Do Monday is my favorite bakery in the Magic Kingdom! (it's kind of the only full bakery in the magic kingdom but that's besides the point)
The Main Street Bakery is the perfect place to get pre-parade drinks and eats. With the perfect view of the upcoming parade you can perch on the side of the sidewalk with a rather large (let's say disney sized) cinnamon roll and a texas sized sweet tea. Granted, being a native texan I am quite partial to real good sweet tea, but by darn that stuff is the real deal.
In addition to the perfect parade location and snacks the bakery also offers delicious gluten free options and like other disney dining options is extremely helpful with eating restrictions.

Turner Classic Movies comes to Sponsor the Great Movie Ride
It was announced earlier this morning (11.26.14) that Turner Classic Movies is signing a contract with disney to sponsor the Great Movie Ride.
The contract details including TCM in the preshow and postshow films, no talk of ride updates.  This contract is also on the part of TCM who will gain the ability to show Treasures from the Disney Archives footage on their television station.
While this contract doesn't appear to talk about renovations for the ride which hasn't changed much since its opening, this definitely is a step in the right direction to bring back Classic Hollywood to Hollywood Studios. With the announcement to remove the sorcerer hat and this new sponsorship it makes disney fans excited to see what else the mouse has in store.

Tomorrowland Destination D Presentation
The final of all the presentations at Destination D today was a presentation on the upcoming film Tomorrowland. This movie begins in the 1964-1965 New York Worlds fair. Some footage of this opening of the upcoming movie was shown today. The above concept art shows two characters which were seen in the advanced clip. Young Frank is the boy in the middle with the large bag and the Girl in Blue is the little girl to the left.  The clip, shown first went as follows.
The scene opens with a young Frank (the older of which is played by George Clooney) who is seen getting off of a yellow greyhound bus with a rather large canvas duffel bag. The bag was almost comparable to the size of the boy. Frank struggled to throw the heavy bag over his shoulder and wide eyed continued past the unisphere to explore the rest of the fair. The first stop on his journey is the Carousel of Progress, then it was known as Progressland. The young boy then continues on to what can be assumed to be the IBM pavillion because he watches a newly designed "Probability Machine" demonstrating the curve that the small metal balls will fall through seemingly random patterns down pegboards to do. The rising platform theatre which was a popular attraction at the real expo can be seen at the background of this shot. Young Frank then sits down to rest and look at the fountains and garden in front of the Hall of Invention pavillion, setting his large duffel bag down on the floor. While sitting there the girl in blue comes and sits on the opposite side and instructs him to "count to twenty seconds and follow us" while placing a small tomorrowland pin in his hand. Frank does just that, he follows and chases after the girl in blue and ends up cutting the queue for It's A Small World, runs down the grass and jumps right into an empty boat. While on the ride Frank can see the girl in blue one boat in front of him and he places the pin on his lapel. Once the girl's boat has turned the corner into asia from europe a laser comes from the top of the eiffel tower and scans the pin on Frank. A secret flume then opens and franks boat shoots down underneath Small World in a Pirates of the Caribbean style attraction drop into a dark and mysterious area. Only the sound of water remains, the room is completely dark and Frank calls out to see if anyone is there. His boat then hits a long platform with a strange looking elevator at the end and the platform illuminates in a Tron like fashion. Frank picks up his bag and stumbles out of the boat onto the platform and enters the elevator. The elevator appears to be half elevator, half subway with signs labeling the worlds fair and year. Once he steps inside an automated voice says "Good afternoon, please step in front of the transport. The site is active." All the windows slam shut with metal grates slamming down from all sides. Panicked, Frank grabs a metal pole for standing and holds tight. He is transported through space or maybe even time, there are quick shots of his face blurred and repeated to show fast movement. Items begin to be discolored. Then everything stops. He lets go of the pole, the window coverings go up and the elevator beeps and opens. Frank wanders into an ethereal white light and disappears. He's in tomorrowland.
After showing this clip Ramsey Avery, the manager of the art department spoke of the history and cities for filming tomorrowland. But that my friends is a story and a post for another time.
What do you guys think about Tomorrowland? Do you love it or hate it?
And as always,
Have a Magical day!
