My FFXII fan book "Hatred" arrived [2023, 114 pages, including illustrations]. It is side story of my main FFXII story Sandsea Erover [2017 - present]. I am very happy.

I think I would really like it if fans in general stopped telling other fans what they're forbidden to do, or what they are required to do, to meet a moral standard that changes with each new source of entertaining outrage. There's a noisy minority of fans who locate every action each fan takes in a moral framework, often but not always as a front for an ongoing ship war, and occasionally for unfathomable personal reasons that they should ideally be seeing a trauma professional for. Those fans create an unreasonable and annoying burden with which they encumber others in their fandoms.

And you know, I know that's a hypocritical desire in its own right. Of course telling fans to stop morality wanking all over the place is also telling them what to do with themselves. And they can do what they want.

But maybe it would be okay if we had a bit of quiet time sometimes, too. Like toddlers.
