the more i see of joe toye, the more i love him. he studied sandtails. he put a wounded horse out of its misery and looked sad about it. he doesn't let himself get drawn into other peoples' spats (whether it's easy dunking on sobel in ep 1, or guarnere ranting about winters). he threw himself over popeye instead of running away when that grenade was about to go off. idk, i just think he's neat
