Help My Family Escape War and Displacement

My name is Hamdi. I’m a father of three: Lama (9), Hussam (6), and Maram, who is now 1 year and 2 months old.

We’ve been trapped in a year-long war that has taken everything from us. Our home was destroyed. We’ve been displaced again and again, and now we’re living in torn tents that can’t protect us from the sun, wind, or cold.

But things have gotten even worse.

We no longer have flour to make bread. There’s no baby formula or diapers for Maram. Some days we go to sleep hungry—other days, we don’t sleep at all because of the pain of hunger and fear.

Maram, our youngest, is growing up in the middle of war. Her first steps were not in a safe home, but on dust-covered ground. Her laughter is rare—but we still hold onto hope.

We don’t ask for much—just the basics: shelter, food, baby needs, and safety.

Amid all these challenges, Lama dreams of becoming a doctor, of saving lives and bringing hope to those around her. But today, she is the one who needs saving, the one who needs support to shield her and her siblings from the freezing cold and the gnawing hunger. There isn’t enough food to sustain them, nor water to quench their thirst.
