I just got back from a local production of tgwdm and here are some things I wanted to share:

- bill was a woman and her name was billie

- alice was played by a 15 year old girl (and she fucking killed it?? Like it was genuinely impressive)

- at the end of la dee da da day they said "let's do the la la again" and did the time warp, then they said "tomorrow there'll be more of us" (that's from Hamilton right??), and the green peice girl did the defying gravity riff

- Ted did a bottle flip, causing Paul to crash out

- professor hidgens looked, sounded, and acted scarily similar to the original

- everyone was either wearing dress shoes or sneakers... Charolette was wearing crocs

- they were selling blue shit (slushies)

- professor hidgens couldn't pick up Emma and spent an embarrassingly long time trying

- general John McNamara couldn't get his watch off so he just mimed giving it to Paul

- instead of saying "prove it asshole we're the army" John just said "this is a gun" and hit Paul with it

- Ted said "aww man that's not good" when he got shot

- professor hidgens was literally kicking his feet and twirling his hair while "on the phone"

- the homeless guy was replaced with an old man and he no longer eats dogs

- Ted was fucking tweaking during show stopping number

- when the aliens were trying to say the same thing one of them said "come on guys, off book was yesterday"

- Paul licked the blood Emma coughed up off his fingers (wtf Paul??)

- at the start, there was a guy saying not to record and stuff like that and the aliens came out and ate him

- there was someone in the audience wearing a black trenchcoat and drinking a slushie (I'm not even kidding)

- Paul's first "no" in let it out almost broke the sound barrier istg (it sounded more like "NŒŒÆÆ-")

- in Inevitable Emma didn't scream, she just curled up in a ball on the ground and accepted her fate, she only started screaming when she saw the audience
