With very little options left, she set up shop as a merchant, more out of desperation than ambition though. To most people passing through she has a well-kept store, polite manners, but behind the scenes she is a woman with a hidden past. Few from the town know she was once a sheriff, far from this quiet town in a place that has since turned to dust. Even fewer know why she no longer wears that badge. Whispers say that she took bribes and spent time in jail, but she doesn't want to confirm these rumors. And after her years in jail she drifted from town to town, trying to claw back some sort of her dignity and the gold she lost along the way. But nothing ever stuck or felt safe to her. The town of Pity became her last resort.

She kept her head down, but her less than law-abiding past has left its mark. For the right people, and the right price she will take on jobs that not many others would."

After, we found a thread including all the info already, so you can look through all of that under the cut here. If you're worried if these could've been written by fans, we were too! However, only armadillos seem to be able to spawn here, so the materials for books (leather, feathers, ink sacs) can't have been obtained by players.
