hi everyone this is Nina 🎀✨

my family and i found her wandering around my neighborhood, especially in my backyard. we took her in because she grew fond of us and we grew fond of her 😭. but unfortunately Nina is very sick.

another main reason why we took her in is because we believed she was pregnant. when we first started feeding outside her she was very skinny but she slowly started gaining a big round belly.

things took a turn for the worst and she wasn’t actually pregnant but in fact had pyometra, a life threatening infection in her uterus.

after surgery they also realized she had trouble breathing and later diagnosed her with congestive heart failure.

she was finally discharged from the hospital and is safe and sound with us 🧸💖 .

but the surgery and stay at the hospital and the medication she has to take for the rest of life has been very expensive. any amount helps but if you pls donate to help our Nina be able to live a long healthy life i will be forever thankful 💌

My family rescued an abandoned cat in our complex as it's getting cold out and he was sickly looking. His name is now Marcus and he's a loveable furball who still doesn't get along with my other cats but purrsif you so much as touch him. Part of it is because he's not neutered yet, I think.

I have an appointment scheduled November 7th to get him looked at and hopefully to get him his shots and a microchip (he went to an urgent car vet for a bloody wound on his forearm and I think he got some of his shots but not all of them). Eventually I need to get him neutered, but he needs the shots before the clinic I was planning on going to will take him.

This is really important. Please help if you can?

I spend nearly $200 a month on needed prescriptions and doctors/therapy appointments, and I am saving up to buy a mobility aid out of pocket since my doctors don't know enough about what's wrong with me to justify to my insurance that I would need a mobility aid. (Either that or they don't believe me, both make sense)

i have a bit saved up but its not enough to really do anything with without spending every single cent i have. im going into college so i want to make sure i have money i can lean on when i cant have college housing anymore.

Hey, so I've never done ANY sort of post like this before, but recently the person in my life that provided health insurance just lost their job that provided them said health insurance, and they are also the only person who brought income to the home so we could actually afford things, so currently things aren't looking great.

I want to get on my state's health plan, but it requires A LOT of money upfront. Like, about $380 the first month and $270 for every month after that kind of a lot. I don't have a job at the moment, and finding one has been a real pain in the ass. So please, if you can afford to, I would really appreciate it if anyone helped me get some cash while I look for a job. If you can't afford to send any money, just a simple reblog would be so incredibly helpful and appreciated.

I'm setting a goal of $700, just so I can afford the first two months. If you can send even a single dollar my way, I would really appreciate it.

Hey everyone, this is a different kind of post than what I normally do but I could use some help. For those who don’t know, I’m an aspiring author. I’ve been wanting to publish for a long time and I’ve finally got the chance to do that with a short story I absolutely adore. But the problem is that publishing is not a cheap endeavor, especially the marketing aspect. Where I am currently at, I don’t have enough to fund the marketing team, which means my book may not be recognized or picked up. I’ve set up a go fund me to help gather the rest of the funds I need as well as a bit more so that I can still have everyday needs met. Hey… so I didn’t want to have to make one of these, especially with it being after the holidays and everything when I know everything is tight money wise, but here we are. My bank accounts are at 0 and I need to pay my student balance of $700 in the next 3 months or they won’t allow me back at college. Next year I plan to take out bigger loans to cover this stuff, but this being my first year I didn’t think I would have to. Additionally once I am no longer on campus for housing starting fall of this year, I will have to make rent each month, and I need to have some bank balance to be able to do that. I’ll also have my dog up with me then, so extra expenses for food, grooming, and veterinary care.

Again I’m sorry to be asking, but anything helps.

It’s been cancelled the last four years cause of COVID and this is our last chance as the professor running this will not be returning next year. Any amount helps.

We're a passionate group of students from Bishop's University and CEGEP Champlain who are going to partake in a life-changing course this summer. CLA309 - Study Abroad in Greece is a course offered by Bishop's University that allows us to spend either 4 or 8 weeks in Greece working on an archaeological dig site, helping to unearth the past.

This unique opportunity not only allows us to learn and grow as people, it will also be instrumental in shaping our futures and future career paths. We're all passionate about history, culture and archaeology and we only hope to deepen this love this summer. We're also all looking forward to getting to know the Greek people and their culture, and are currently studying hard to learn Greek to help us interact with the local community of Ancient Corinth this summer!

Of course, there are many costs associated with this course, and we've been working hard to fundraise to help offset these costs. As students, many of us rely on summer months to work and save up money, so it is doubly important for us to save as much as we can!

Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated and shared equally amongst all of us. It will go towards costs such as plane tickets, room and board, and tuition.
