Big news!!!
Hey everyone.
It has been a while, With a new job, moving and working on my youtube channel Happy Raven has fallen by the wayside in the last 6 months or so.
But that has changed with 2015. I have resolved to balance my life between work, Happy Raven, Youtube and my personal life (what little of it I have)
I also plan to post more on all my of personal and Hapy Raven networks.
And with some big or not so big news depending on who you are, I had my very first sale on Storenvy today.
This happening has really motivated me to keep going and push through the challenges life throws at me.

I would like to tell everyone a little story on how Happy Raven began. Four years ago while sharing a small apartment with a friend, I was struggling with life and a very severe bout of depression, I found that I needed something to keep me busy and get my mind off things. One night I was at the local Domino's (we didn't have internet at home) swiping some free wifi while waiting for food and I found a polymer clay tutorial on YouTube. It seemed pretty easy and I thought I would give it a try. So I went to the craft store and spent my last $20 for the week on clay. I took it home and tried to make a cauldron. Needless to say without tools or experience I ended up two hours later with black clay all over my hands and a lopsided crumbly cauldron. I really had no idea what I was doing, but I had made it, so i put it in the oven and cooked it til it set, (I think I actually burnt it.) it came out looking terrible but I loved it because I had created it. So the next week I bough some tools to assist me better and tried again. I watched more YouTube tutorials when I could and eventually started making pieces I thought looked good. 6 months later I was working part time and decided to try some resin. I bought the cheapest nastiest resin and moulds I could find, the end result was in no way perfect and I could barely get the screw into the cured resin to turn I to necklaces, but I did it and I still have those necklaces. After 18 months and a lot of money I had a fair selection if phone charms and jewellery pieces, I decided to make a Facebook page and go to the markets. Since then I have continued to go to the markets, and opened and online store through store envy. With a work table full of pieces curing and drying hours of love and broken nights sleep full of brain blasts, I am working harder then ever to hand make pieces for the kawaii and creepy. I am looking at branching out in product and even putting some items into stores.
