Mick Greenberg?

Harry Styles writing under a different pen name; Mick Greenberg. There has been rumours that Harry is working under a new name. We first got word of this when Alex and Sierra (The X Factor USA winners) suggested that Harry was a writer on one of there songs "I Love You".  Alex and Sierra are not sure if Harry is the real writer on this song. All they knew is Mick Greenberg is the one of the writers. 

"We were given three or four that we didn't write anything on. And we weren't really told any information about them, all we know is what everyone knows. We were told that Mick Greenberg wrote it, so that's what we know." -Alex and Sierra

Side note: There are rumours that this song could be about Taylor Swift.

If you look on ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) you and clearly see that Harry Styles and Mick Greenberg are both credited under this song.

Is Harry Styles going Solo?

There's been a lot of reports asking the question. Is Harry going solo? There's been a lot of talk about Harry wanting to leave One Direction on a high note. 

“He wants to leave One Direction on a high, not when they are disappointing fans and drifting out of the spotlight. It's an open secret on the tour that he's planning life beyond the band.” 

Another person said “He doesn't want to turn his back on his bandmates."

This is not the first time we heard about Harry leaving One Direction to pursue a solo career. There was talk when he started writing for other artist like Meghan Trainor and Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol.

One Direction and Fall Out Boy working together...

In a recent interview Pete Wentz from FOB sat down with the Daily Stars and said that they worked with One Direction last time they were in London. Pete went on to say that the session was great but wasn't sure if One Direction would record them.

"Last time we were in London we wrote with the guys in One Direction," Wentz admitted. "It was a great session but I don't know if Fall Out Boy writes what One Direction wants to sing."

Confirmed: Harry Styles mystery lyrics: 'Make it Feel Right'.

DJ Nick Grimshaw from Radio 1 Breakfast Show cleared up some rumours about the hand written lyrics to 'Make it Feel Right' with a over the phone interview with Mark Prendergast of Kodaline. Mark confirmed that the MIFR was a collaboration between the Kodaline and Harry Styles.

When Nick read out the lyrics, Mark said, "I think they are, yes. We wrote the song ages ago but that sounds like them all right."

Styles has been busy collaboration recently, having just penned a song with artist of the moment, Meghan Trainor.  

The All About That Bass hitmaker told The Sun, "It’s a duet. It’s a beautiful song we wrote together on my ukulele. We even recorded a rough demo together with our vocals together. It’s a cute acoustic love thing.

“It’s one of the first cool things I got to do with a pop star.

"A friend of mine said Harry was a fan and said he would love to write with me. He’s an incredible writer, too. I was worried he’d just be a 20-year-old boy. So I walked in with a prepared verse and chorus. But he gave me very poetic, mature lyrics. I was like, ‘Well, damn, Harry, you know what love is.'”

The track, called Someday Maybe, might not be available for fans to hear though, as Harry is committed to his One Direction duties.

And while they have made sweet music together, Meghan says romance was not on her mind when she worked with the British star.

“No, definitely not – we’re good friends,” she smiled. “But I adore all the One Direction boys. Every time I meet them I’m like, ‘Hi, you’re all perfect.'

“But they’re One Direction. And I’m just a girl from Massachusetts. Plus, I can’t date another pop star. They’re all too busy.”
