- Nina fell first, Toby fell harder. Nina first learned about him on the news, when it was reporting on his crimes. She was already a killer by this point, and the moment she saw him she was absolutely obsessed. They officially met through Clockwork, who was a mutual friend. While it took a bit longer for Toby to reciprocate, when he did it hit him like a frying pan to the face. Head over heels in love with her.

- Nina is VERRYYY physically affectionate. Even if it’s something simple holding hands in public, Nina’s always clinging to him. She’s also very verbally affectionate and will constantly be complimenting everything about him.

- Toby loves to give Nina small things he finds. A shiny rock along a stream that reminds him of her, a feather the same shade of her hair, a snail shell he thinks looks pretty- they’ll all end up in Nina’s hands by the end of the day. She displays these things on top of her shelf, she loves them so much.

- They wear each other’s clothes so much that they practically swap wardrobes every other day. Nina loves his black sweater and probably wears it more than he does, while Toby has fallen asleep in her purple hoodie one too many times to count.

- They adore each other. Like, deeply, truly adore each other. There are so many moments where the two of them just admire one another, think of one another. If they lived long enough, I think they would have gotten married and started a family. (Unfortunately Toby dies before that can happen though 💔)
