Is Cas actually drunk in 9x09 "Holy Terror"?

People are getting very excited about the cutie-pie that is drunk ‘n’ flirty!Cas in “Holy Terror”, but… I’m pretty sure he isn’t drunk.

Why do we think he’s drunk? Because Dean says he is.

Castiel, for whatever we believe, know or theorize about his mind and soul, is physically inhabiting the body of a full-grown, fit and healthy, six foot tall man, and the biological likelihood of him getting 'hammered’ from one [American] beer is painfully slim.

As many a meta writer has pointed out by this point, Dean is also pretty much the most unreliable narrator ever to be seen in modern media.

And does he have a reason for saying that Cas is drunk when he’s not?

How about: his brother just caught them flirting right there in front of him and Dean feels the need to do damage control?

It’s not like Cas’s behaviour has suddenly changed in this scene. We’ve seen him being equally as, well, adorkable in 9x03 and, more notably, 9x06, stone cold sober…

Supernatural had the opportunity to do something great. To send a message of love and validation to a whole community. Not only to the part of the community that liked their show, but to all of us. But instead they decided to pander to the people, who never had to fight for their representation.

I support #TheySilencedYou, #TheySilencedThem and #TheyWillNeverSilenceUs and I'm in awe of all of you. Of your eloquence, passion, coordination and decisiveness. And I feel like your message goes beyond this particular TV show and the CW.

It's about protesting a pattern of disrespect towards otherness in Mainstream Media. It's about demanding meaningful, unmistakably queer representation, that enables discourse and furthers understanding in a heterogenic Audience. It's about asking Networks to not only hire diverse staff but to also give them the freedom to tell their stories the way they want to. It's about telling creators to own up to the inherent messages they leave us with in the end.

And that's inspiring and should be celebrated.

Stories matter.

Adam Williams has released graphic original destiel smut, but not in a gay way. Jared Padalecki’s new show Walker has included several episodes where the cowboy man goes and kills gays. You open your phone. You have a notification from Instagram. “Jensen Ackles just posted for the first time in a while.” You open Instagram. There, in very poor quality, is unedited footage of the 15x18 confession. Dean and Cas kiss, and Dean whispers that he loves Cas too. The caption is two words: “Happy pride.”

Hey folks, I have an idea. I don't have enough skills to do it myself but I know there is a lot of talented ppl in our fandom so:

Personally, I had been waiting for a final "Carry on my wayward son" intro-montage in 15x20 for like a whole season and I was devastated when I saw there wasn't one. I also saw other people being not okay with that so I thought maybe we could do it ourselves? We could make a huge fan-edit including best show moments from all 15 seasons. Maybe we could do text-breaks in the style of "then" and "now" but instead write smth like "15 years", "the road so far" and so on and at the end take all "supernatural" intros and put them all together?

What do y'all think? If there is something like this already please let me know.
