Just had the cat shred my shoulder up.....TWICE. yes, the second time was just to prove a point after Mom asked the first of a couple dumb questions but wtf Ma??

Then has the audacity to ask how my back is doing....like girl, did you not just watch as this cat had full claws deep death grip on me after YOU spooked her the first time, then same death grip but into my neck as well the second time??

I haven't moved my arm much rn cause even just flexing enough to type this makes those spots sting. And knowing how slowly things have been healing for me lately, those claw marks will likely take at least a month to go away

We're going up north tomorrow for our annual trip for dad's birthday to his favorite state park (man went there at least 2-3x a yr for 40+yrs). Mom and I were trying to figure out if we're taking her car or my sister's, depending on if the girls' bfs are coming too.

During that discussion, Mom asked me how it was we only had 4 people go last year.... apparently forgetting that they went without me because the park was going to close while they redid all the bathrooms in the campgrounds and it was my weekend to work.

Also had to remind her that I wasn't there for the stuff they did for dad's death anniversary last year either. So got a bit mad/hurt all over again, especially since she forgot I wasn't there for either thing last year. Gods forbid I had to work and no one ever plans anything ahead of time or even looks at my schedule they all have access to

Got a migraine and for once don't have wet hair (usually remember the cap exists while I'm mid shower with a migraine so not helpful) so I can actually use my ice cap for once....only to empty the entire freezer and it's not there. Mom was the last to use it for sure when she had pink eye (so it probably needs to be cleaned anyways if she hadn't already). But nope. Nowhere to be found. We even checked under her bed.

Got these migraine patches so I'm trying those but they smell weird and I for sure can't keep them on for more than a couple hours because adhesive (still have a welt on my back from a blister bandage that was only on over night.....a week ago. Fml if I can't even use those anymore either, yay skin issues)

I doubt the Excedrin will do much if anything, hasn't for years but I still try. Really need to ask for like rescue meds or something, cause I don't think the dose change on my prophylactic meds is doing anything. The one that worked I can't take anymore since we think that was probably the trigger for my urticaria after a dose change on that one. Probably really need a neurologist atp.

But, I finally get to try out my migraine glasses with the tinted lenses.....just hadn't thought through the frames when I bought em cause they have the nose pads and most of my other glasses don't...so may or may not have ordered new ones without the nose pads and at a darker tint for the really bad migraines.

I'm just really upset about the ice cap thing though. My middle sis was the one who got em for me for Christmas a couple years ago and it's one of the few things that actually help. That and mom's heated eye massager thing. I know there's a second one somewhere mixed in with baby sis's college stuff after I gave her the second one last year after she was getting heat stroke like symptoms during move in day, but it doesn't help me when it's not cold and it's packed up with her stuff for when we move her into her dorm next weekend.

My supervisor announced that she's taking a manager position at the children's hospital and is leaving in a few weeks.

So losing another supervisor. Whoever my manager hires to replace her....will be the 11TH supervisor I'll have had since I started here in 2019. Wtf. And somehow upper management hasn't noticed the turnaround for those positions under my manager?? (Even if he was a supervisor when I first hired in, my point still stands)
