Update: Feeling burnt out, and needing a break, and apologizing for empty promises

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last updated something on here. I want to be serious about this because it involves why I haven't been updating a lot here, and that's what I'd like to discuss.

Well, first off I have been feeling burnt out.

One, it doesn't mean I'm giving up on my rewrite or even Hazbin Hotel, I'm still excited for season 2 in October. I have been experiencing burnout for a while, mainly from overthinking the season one storyline and writing things down. I want to create a written story with some drawings here and there, but I have been feeling burnt out with the writing. I have barely finished chapter 6 (which is part 2 of episode 3 in my rewrite), and I have barely reached my goal so far.

And it doesn't excuse how I barely have developed much of the world (or, well, hell in Haz) and haven't made any posts about it going forward.

And heck, I'm still deciding on what to do with season 3 so far, since in my rewrite, I want to keep the story as it is so far. Season 1 is about developing hell and the hotel with Charlie and the workers/sinners of hell, and season two will have more of a similar storyline to season one(with the extermination and having Charlie try to convince heaven that redemption can work) and that since season of the canon is coming up It makes it hard for how I want to do the story going forward.

Two, I have made so many empty promises

This is a problem I have on this blog: I make so many empty promises about when I'll update stuff, and I break them or barely break them, and I don't want that for all of you.

So, I'll be taking a break with the blog until at least somewhere around November, when I'll be back.

During this time, I'll be going over notes of my rewrite to see what things I want for my story and what it will be like going forward, taking my time for my story, and I also want to focus more on real life, like getting a job and considering doing some work out and such

I will also be sharing other art on my official blog, @eriartsworld. I'm particularly fond of K-pop demon hunters and have recently gotten back into MLP (yes, I was a Pegasister, so you can cringe). If you're interested, check out my latest creations.

Late for Pride month, but here's a drawing of some characters whose sexuality has been updated.

Vaggies is still a Lesbian, but she's also a demisexual

Baxter's a Trans Man, but he's a hetero(when he was alive, he used to think he was a lesbian and content for the most part, but when he got to hell, a few decades afterward, he realized that he was actually a man this whole time)

Cherri Bombs Bis still, but she has the upgraded Aromanticism in her ;3

And Cryminis Sapphic, no specific type that she is, but she does have a preference for girls(men are on the idk)

For all the other characters, nothing really changed for them, so I didn't make a drawing for them.

UPDATES: The Future of the rewrite, lore, character bios, and more.

Hey everyone, sorry that it has been a while since I gave an update on the fanfic and this blog, but I wanna give a big plan on what is gonna happen and such. I did plan to release it late June to early July, but slight change, we are gonna release the first four chapters on August 23(late summer) why?

Well, admittedly, I'm not finished with all the chapters (like halfway and not edited, and I thought a birthday release would be so much fun to do so that I can work on more chapters and that I'm working on getting a job since Im taking a one year sabbatical from college to figure things out.

Plus, with more time, I get to see if season 2 or a trailer of Hazbin will come out between these times, and so I can plan for season 3(I'm still planning season 2) and see what I will do.

Now that I'm done with that, I have other things I wanna announce, like the lore. Remember when I posted the lore of my AU? Well, it's coming back, but also I wanna update some things soon, like Extermination Day, the history, the exorcists and their uniforms, and so much more, like the map of hell, types of sinners, the overlord, and so much more. I can't wait.

As for Bios, I only have Cryminis left since she is one of the major five character bios I wanna get. I might make a couple more, but they will be grouped up (Niff/Husk/Bax and a Vees one, since they are still crucial to the plot, but much more to the side and or the villains)

Lastly, for anyone here who is patient, thank you so much for being here. Hey, I have some artwork for Pride. I'm going to be posting soon, so watch for that ;).

Now, then, for one of my favorites... Alastor profile >:D

Redesign info: I will say that as much as I love Alastor in canon... There are a lot of changes I want to make for him (out of love). Like I don't mind his reds but their too bright and their was the controversy a couple years back about his race and voodoo which I will remove (the voodoo not the mixed race creole I'm keeping it in) Plus I want to give him more deer elements and more colors (he needs some good browns and yellows) and his importance to the narrative(mainly first season) while he still be playing a major role he will step back a few so I can give either characters their share of the spotlight.

His redesign:

For his hair I decided to give his some curls and made them be based on one of his new aspirtation (Daveed diggs in his hamilton era) his hair is still red in this canon but the black parts are more of a dark brown(fun fact when he arrived in hell he only had the ronald McDonald hair color, he started dying in dark brown to compensate for his lack of hair color)

He is given more deer parts, such as a noticeable tail; his dear ears are where his normal ears should be; his antlers are metal; he has pink claws and deer shoes with a deer-like nose.

Outfit-wise, he has more muted reds compared to Canon. He also has many changes, such as pinstriped attire, a ribcage belt/corset(a gift from Rosie), and a bow tie replaced with a tie.

Theirs also two little knobs the one on the left controls his hearing, and the one on the right controls his volume.

For the mouth(besides historical accuracy for pencil mustache), he has a golden speaker-like mouth guard(which he can remove) that can glow and stuff, but his teeth...are another story.

He also has a more canon-accurate carbon microphone, but I did something different. While everyone did the star shape, I did a different shape to be more creative with him.

Personality/Canon lore Changes:

I feel like, for the most part, he will be kept similar to how he was in the canon; my only changes are that he's a bit more subtle with his whole evil-ness and that he's a little more wacky, like the pilot. While he's still important to the cast, he's more likely gonna appear a bit less, like he's only going to make an appearance in 1/2 in season 1 (which is like 14 episodes aka depending on how pacing goes it might be 28 chapters) , but I want him in less so other characters can get the spotlight. Oh, and no voodoo in here, he's gonna get a totally original magic system for himself in here.

Powers:

Like in canon, he can change his size due to being a overlord, also his Anteneas can be able to sense things much farther than what his normal ears can; they can also shock around when he’s thinking of things inside his head. Tentacles can’t still be summoned by him and he can still have a small army of weird little Black and white creatures, oh and his shadow does have consciousness too.

For his new powers… the best way I can describe it is Blood Magic, he can simply either cut his palm, or he has a couple of vials tucked in his corset. All he has to do is simply spread it around his hand and draw symbols on whatever, walls, floors, objects, food, and even demons and sinners themselves, and what can they do? Well, you just have to wait and see >:3

Lore:

For a lot of Alastor's lore in the afterlife is kept mostly the same, his arrival in hell was unexpected, and no one took him seriously, until overlords kept going missing (I would for making a timeline's sake, he would start his overlord domination around the late 1930s' to 1940 so around a 1-3 year of overlord slaughter) and their would only be around 6 powerful overlords still kept alive and around due to their powers and strength being able to over-top alastor (think like Carmilla(died 1800's) Zelestial (1400's), Rosie (who people don't know where she died or came from since she only became a overlord in the 1910's) and around 3 others who over the 1900s-2000's either retired or died.

And when he announced with his radio broadcast that he had collected all the overlord souls, he also collected souls from some sinners and lower-ring hell-born (imps, hellhounds, and a couple of succubi) who had tried to take him down but failed. While he has, as of right now, a few souls under his control, he mainly keeps husk(the former gambling overload) as his main soul to go and do stuff for him whenever he wants.

His friendships are rather few and little; With the overlords, it's complicated; he has a sort of respect for Zelestial, Carmilla a begrudging respect, and a huge disdain for the overlord of media Vox due to conflicts in the past, which made their relationship go from friendly work buddies to huge hatred. Others are little to none. The only true overlord friendship he does have is with Rosie, who is the only overlord he can manage a friendship with. Any other friendships is between two non-overlords.

Nifty and Mimzy; Mimzy, he knew her in his human lifetime and were buddies until Mimzy died in 1929 due to her boyfriend killing her for stealing all his money. Nifty, his maid, found this little bug in the trash, and while he was contemplating what to do with her, he decided to make her a maid(she doesn't have a soul contract with Alastor)

He has been gone for 7 long years after an overlord battle between him and Vox, which left Vox in a disastrous state. Hey, at least it gave Vox the excuse to upgrade himself. And now that he's back and all, he's working with the princess on her rehabilitation project... I wonder why.

Outfits and human redesign

Hey yall, it’s your girl not dead and working on my Alastor Profile, it just life and school and job hunting is painful.

But I actually want to bring some criticism about the show and a change U have done a long time ago that I wanna talk about.

It’s mainly the decission as to why I replaced Sir Pentious with Crymini.

You see I do really like Sir P, he’s funny he’s cute, and Alex Brightman does a fantastic job with him voice wise.

But narratively I think sir P would work better if his character was still a goofy side villain that worked up to joining the hotel.

It’s not bad it’s just I wished we got more silly stuff with him before he got to this point.

Secondly, I want the hotel to have a female guest. Mainly also because besides maybe Cherri Bomb, we don’t have a female guest who wants to be better or even what she wants.

Three, I feel like the whole Sir P betrays the hotel plot felt a bit wasted, like imagine all the drama and built up that Sir P could’ve had if he was still working with the Vees/Voxtex. Imagine the Narrative build that could happen with him choosing if he wants to be a better person or do all this so he could get maybe the approval and attention of some TV dude.

Thirdly; Velvette has not counterpart to the hotel. Like Vox and Val have one(Alastor and Angel dust) but not Vel, and don’t say that Carmilla is her counterpart, cause one she’s not in the hotel and two, theirs really their isn’t any real Narrative foiling they both have with each other besides like New!Overlord and Old!Overlord.

Plus having Crymini be owned By Velvette also makes Vel much more connected to the plot becuase she is the one who is trying to make sure new sinners don’t go to the hotel so the Vees have more victims to sucker and control.

Plus another thing with Having a female guest/traitor it also gives a bit more room for character interactions(I orignally had an Idea to have Husk and Cry have a father daughter thing but mainly I was give Cry something different) like Have Cry and Aggie(Vaggie) be a duo.

Mainly cause in my remake they do have a lot in common; quiet and brutish girls, loves weapons(mostly blades), can hold up in a fight, had rough girlhoods with their moms, Girl lovers(Cry’s Sapphic and Aggie Obviously a Lesbian) plus it gives Aggie more character and female interactions in the plot to have besides Charlie.

And hell the twist that Cry is the traitor and is getting video and evidence to make the hotel look bad is even more JUICY for the narrative.(mainly cause when she does get find out she’s in a conflict if she really wants to continue getting videos and photo evidence to make the hotel look even worse or does actually want to control her temper and be a better person)

Angel Dust: Profile.

Redesign profile: In canon, Angel Dust is a really good character, but my main issue is that the series doesn't go into too much depth with his mafia background and that there's not much to tell about why he was sent to hell (we, the audience, might have an idea, i.e., his drug issues or his mafia background). I wished the series could explore more of that alongside some of the Valentino stuff.

Now, his redesign notes:

He changed his white color scheme to a more gray pink to show how different in morality he and his siblings are (Molly has a more white-ish pink skin to symbolize her purity and goodness, Arackniss has a more dark pink to show he's horrible, and the Angel in the middle shows how his alignment could go one way or another, and show if he chooses to be better or worse).

Curlyish hair(or well-wavy)

Gave him more variety in pink, gray, dark, hot pink, and light pink,

Gave him longer sleeves like the pilot, but they are more puffy, and he has a reddish-pink collar 

Got rid of the bowtie

Tailcoat is supposed to resemble his spider butt

And the spidey appendages on his face

No skirt but a strapless-short one-piece

Personality/story changes:

I would say a significant shift in his personality is that he's a lot more insecure about telling how his relationship/work life is with Valentino since he doesn't want anyone to get hurt by Val ( trauma came from his past when someone tried to stand up to val…. That person died)

While he does get pretty touchy with characters(mainly with more male characters like Al and Husk), after he and Husk have a big argument/talk (I would say in the masquerade episode replacement), he starts to get less touchy with all the cast due to wanting to respect Husk and the others.

After episode 2 of the rewrite, when Crymini comes in, he starts to get insecure because someone is trying (faux trying, but Angel doesn't know yet) to be a better person. This makes him insecure since he was the only person before Cry came to the scene.

Powers:

Like a traditional spider, he can release webbing from his behind, but after the incident, it's much messier and harder since it can get all over the place. He can also climb on walls and such and is much more nimble.

With his demon form, he can only access around 50% of it since half of his soul was contracted to Valentino.

Rewritten backstory:

He was born in 1912; his human name was Anthony and has a twin sister in Molly, He had still of American descent, but he also has some Irish in this version(due to wanting to name Arckniss, Archie and also to explain why he has curls and slightly honey blonde hair with freckles, so like 25% from his mother side)

Lived in New York his entire life(Brooklyn); Dad was in charge of drug trafficking and trading; his brother(Archie) was the star pupil of his dad's eye, “perfect mafioso,” as he called, besides his mom, the only other person he got along with was Molly, his baby twin, she was sweet nice and was always loyal to her brother, and he was always sweet on her.

She was the only person he could tell he was gay, and she always tried to be understanding and an ‘ally’ to hi,; but even if his family had some gay bars (not because they supported him they wanted the queer money and it's illegal) they weren't supportive at all (remember this was the late 20’s to ’40s)

Worked his way in the mafia but just didn't enjoy it, he didn't mind some nights killing some shitbags, blowing his Tommy in the distance, or even cracking some drugs but he didn't enjoy staying, he wanted to have a more entertaining life like maybe try out hollywood but he knew if he ever left the family, he knew that his brother and dad would send men to hunt.

Molly has repeatedly tried to get him to leave with her and try a new life somewhere in the West, but Anthony doesn't want to. She tried begging him repeatedly, but when Anthony had enough and yelled at her, it fractured their relationship for the next five years.

(In that, Molly got married and had a baby; she tried to stay out of mafia troubles and such.)

How did he die? Well, it's a doozy;, one day, he decided to do some drag and went to a queer bar(not his dad's since people would recognize him) and started making out with a random dude; he got drunk and stuff with words. A few days later, a HUGE score for the mafia was made in a mansion when the cops came.

As all four(Anthony, Molly, Arckniss, and their father, the mother was at home) tried to leave, the Father was tackled, and before all three of the siblings could make their escape, Molly got shot in the heart.

After the two escaped, Anthony locked back at the mansion and realized it was only his father and sister dead, but one of the cops was the man he had sex with a few days ago.

He turned his world upside down when he confronted his brother about this(leaving some details out). With yells, slaps, and a beaten eye, he was told by Archie that he was dead to the familia.

With no other choice, Anthony left it, and it was how he died, snorted a few bags of the drugs (‘Angel Dust’) that he had and died in an alley.

When he got into hell, he was confused by how his body worked, but after a while, he didn't mind it, and if anything, he could be himself for the first time in live “forever.,

So, he would frequent local drag bars to sing and perform and even do some sex work. He felt li was living the life for the next 40 years, until…

Valentino, a suave and charismatic moth overlord, approaches him with a contract and the opportunity to become a star; all he would need to do is sign the half soul contract, and all his dreams would come true.

Captivated, he signed, and lo and behold, for the first few years, Anthony changed his name from Anthony to Angel Dust and his life was so luxurious, drugs galore, all the porn acting he could do alongside his performances, and the sex with Valentino was great.

Of course, soon it was starting to get concerning, long hours, pay was getting cheap, and sex with Val was getting… rough. And Val would have mood swings between being aggressive and pure fury to sweet loving and ‘tender’ touches with also being given plenty of gifts(This includes his pig fat nuggets)

Over time, Angel was getting tired and wanted to do something, but he was scared. One day, however, after a performance, he met someone at a bar, and over time, they started to secretly date(Dating wasn't allowed in Val's workplace). Over time, the partner encouraged Angel to stand up.

Once Angel did try to stand up to Val… it didnt go so well. All that I can say is that the partner was…gone, and angel has some scars he can never shake off to this day, and he only keeps drowning himself with drugs to distract himself.

And it was like this for the next 30.. 40 years? One day, Charlie, the princess of hell, and her GF confronted him. They asked him if they would sign up for the hotel experiment they were doing, he was sold mainly at first so that he could escape valentino(temporarily) but also maybe deep down in his heart he could perhaps try to find confidence in himself, stand up to Val and his family and perhaps just possibly he can finally forgive himself for what happened to his partner and sis.

Outfits/Clothes from when he was Alive:

(For his human design, I wanted to base it off of the Zoot Suits that delinquents and younger men would wear in the 1940s. I would say I do wish I made it a bit more baggier. He wears more pale colors cause I feel like lighter yellows would be a good, safe complement, and a pink feather on the head to show what his true colors are for later in hell. Oh, and his hair is curly since I decided to give him a bit of Irish origins, and his sideburns also represent his mandibles. )

If anyone wonders why I haven’t made profiles for characters Like Carmilla, Lute, Lucifer, Lillith Emily and Sera; it’s mainly because their characters saved for the season 2 re-imagine and that I want their profiles/character in for to be kept a secret.(might do a minor one for Luci cause, while he won’t be focused in season 1) he will at most have some faceless cameos.

Aggie:

Redesign profile: for canon Vaggie I'm gonna be honest I really like the redesign its a good one but My central conflict is basically with the colors, one thing for sure I wished she had more of a pastel like color scheme, her current one is too close just to be another background characters colors. Also, I do wish she had a little more meat on her bones (because she was an exorcist and all she should have some meat on her)

Now her redesign notes:

Change from grays and whites to give her a purple color scheme; she has a lot more shades of pink, purple, and blue.

She's a Moth like winner turned sinner, what was her original design, her mouth is more bug like with her feet being more like a bug-like(having two toes) and she does have moth antennas but she hides them underneath bobby pins, with their also being moth fluff(she only keeps the ones around her wrists and ankles, for neck fluff she shaves it)

Her hair is shorter, manly because I didn't know why canon veggie kept it long when she said she doesn't fight with it, so I made it shoulder length for it to be cuter and her tips and stuff are dyed.

Ok, so clothes, I at one point did give her the maroon colored top, but I wasn't a fan of it, so she now wears a purple with sleeves cut off, and blue pants with a pink moth belt, and her boots also have her (shaven) moth fluff around them to tell she's a moth sinner

Eye patch doesn't weirdly fade out.

Whether she does or doesn't have new wings is to be foreseen…

Profile:

Personality/story changes:

One thing for sure, Aggie(I decided to get rid of the V part of her name) is much more hopeful in wanting to redeem sinner and to be a spoilery yes she's still part of the exorcists but rather a winner turned into one, mainly cause I want the human aspect to be something Charlie and her could bond over, plus why she wants to help redeem the sinner and…well that’s a sort season 2 spoiler and part of her backstory. But she will talk to Charlie about things if they feel too babyish or will not work.

She's still cautious about trust towards men, but she will put her worries aside for her and Charlie.

She's into a LOT of self-care things, like whenever there's no day to help with the guests(Angel and Crymini and whatever one off guest of the day), she will do yoga and bodybuilding to get her strength up, along with a sort of strict diet(mainly to adjust with the new moth parts of her) she also enjoys a lot of dancing with music that revolves a lot around her Latin culture(el salvidorian)

While she tells Charlie things about her human life, and as a winner/exorcist, there are some things she still doesn't tell Charlie about…

Ok so for backstory, some things I have kept the same, but much more simplified for the rewrite:

Born in 1984 in El Salvador with a mother and a father, lived a rather mundane and boring life, Mother died when Agatha(Aggie's earth name) just turned 13.

After which her father turned to TV and alcohol, and Agatha was just trying to get by in life due to her mother's death and her father's neglect.

She had graduated from high school but wanted to go to college, but she didn't have the money to attend an out-of-country college, so for the next two years, she would save up so much money to move and attend a university.

However, those dreams came to a halt when she was at a party with a few female friends, she and a bunch of other girls got drugged and kidnapped.

When Aggie realized what happened (this took place a few days after the kidnapping), she had discovered that she was not only kidnapped but also taken too far from home, and what the people wanted to do to her, she had decided to end it. 

With a gun she blew her brains out, but if she had just waited a few more hours she would have lived due to police finding them out (Died in 2004)

After which she ended up in heaven, her first few years were instead a bit mundane and average, but she couldn't 100% recover.

After meeting with one of the girls who was also kidnapped(she had lived but died a few years later due to STDs) learned that the pimp guy was killed in jail and that she heard from some he's thriving in hell (he's not valentino) which made her furious.

After a while she had learned from one of her “ heaven therapists,” that there was a way to get rid of her pimp to go and recommend to her the exorcist army.

So for the next 20 years she has been working with the exorcists to purge the sinners in hell, and while she did get cathartic from it, something felt…off.

One day during another exorcism, she decided to take off her mask, and the sinners that she was trying to kill weren't the monsters from what the mask had shown, but genuinely scared civilians.

She tried to go after another sinner(a cannibal) but she couldn't do it so she forced the sinner to run off and before she knew it the exorcist leader right hand(Lucy) pierced her eye out and called her a traitorous scum, crushing her halo and transforming her from a human winner to a bug sinner.

She got out of her clothes(kept the black, jumpsuit), started to stumble until she felt like passing out, later she felt herself being carried by someone, a pink-haired sinner?? 

Soon enough she had some consciousness to recognize she was being taken to lucifer's house and she realized that this sinner was Lucifer's Daughter!

She still kept playing unconscious-ness, as she getting fixed she overhears lucifer and charlies argument and when she hears the final remake, she and charlie are zapped away.

The next thing she can remember is waking up in a dusty room at a hotel with Charlie greeting her as charlie.

Sort of a summary for a time skip for the next 3-4 months they have been living normally and then one day charlie and aggie confronted each other baou their secrets to each other (Aggie knowing that charlie was lucifer's daughter and Charlie knowing that Aggie is a agnel) and while the conversation was… rough and the other didnt take it well that they knew what the other didnt know and involved aggie running off and charlie mopping, they both ran into someone who they could vent their problems toward and after a while of thinking they came back to each other and that's when their relationship from strangers to friends.

After that Aggie started to tell Charlie about her life as a human and exorcist and heaven and Charlie talking about how she believes that the sinners don't deserve the extermination so they came up with an idea. Make a hotel to redeem sinners so that they can be given a second chance and to also stop the extermination.

During their research process charlie and aggie were soon bonding and falling in love with each other over the time; and so after 3 years have started their hazbin hotel.

Finally, that's Aggie everyone, it's a much more different backstory than what canon has, but in total I actually had fun making these, next up will be angel and I have two more to finish up.~ Stay tuned~

Ok, here's the first character profile and post for my Hazbin Hotel rewrite, I'm doing mainly the hotel's cast, the Main four (Charlie, Aggie, Angel Dust, and Crymini), and Alastor. If I feel motivated for more, I might continue.

Charlie:

Redesign profile: For Charlie, I do think her original canon design is by all means a good one, my only faults with it per se are that I feel like her hair swoop bang. It feels a bit confusing, and it's weirdly animated. And my only other problem is the colors, while I dont despire if some of the characters have similar colors nearly all the characters share the same shade of red; and that she kinda has no stand out able traits to her design to make her unique from the rest (like the most you could say is her nose but like theirs nothing interesting about it)

But I do have things I enjoy, one I love the suit, if anything it makes her look more mature and more like a grown up (with the pilot she seemed kinda childish). It took time to get used to, but I like her bubble braid, her red eyes are good, and I do think, in my personal opinion, she's the prettiest character in Hazbin Hotel (sue me XD).

With that said, here's what I did for her redesign:

She has pink(or rather rose colored) hair and it's in a similar bubble-ish braid, its more like say a mix of Applejack from mlp and Rapunzel's braid in Tangled I also made the bang part a more understandable hair swoop

For her face, she has her cheek marks as a lighter color, her eyes are the same basically, I also gave her horns and gave the color the same as her canon cheeks, oh and she has ears

Nothing too much for her body change, expect for maybe her legs look like a mix of goat and human, at one point I was deciding if she could have hooves but I wanted to make her look more human so I gave her claw toes instead, and she has light pink claws.

Clothes wise, her outfit looks more similar to her pilot design only the difference is that her main color for that outfit is more yellow like, mainly to reflect that she has a ‘sunshine’ personality, and that she also wears pink gloves mainly for a pop of color for her clothes.

Profile:

Personality: Nothing significant changes to her personality, she's still the same person. The only difference is that she doesn't take things as childish in the story. Since in this version she and Aggie have been researching humans and different types of psychology/therapy, she can take the redemption bit more seriously and try to help the sinners become better people.

Powers: Obviously, she's literally the daughter of the fallen angel, she has to have some OP powers, but since, like canon she doesn't want to use them unless someone messes with her so yeah short run down list:

Pyro kinesis is obvious, but she has the ability to manipulate and control as much fire as she wants, ranging from tiny sparks to HUGE blazing hells.

Teleportation: something she learned from reading books on magic, she can only use this if she can have a perfect memory of the location she wants to go to, she also doesn't use it that often due to nausea it could cause her

Flight: In her demon form, about 25% she can manifest angel-like wings to fly and soar(they go bigger depending on her forms also I will one day post her demon forms on here)

Small pocket dimension: Nothing too major. It can be the size of an average messenger bag that she can store essential belongings inside.

Demon forms: She can take the forms of 0, 10(her current form), 25,50,75 and 100% and each one of them also has a wide variety of strength, zero is normal human 10 can be like a body builder strength and 100… we dont talk about it; and with each one her horns also start to curve to be more like a goat, and her skin would also start to break(but thats when 50% and beyond happen) and so much more but maybe I can talk about them more in another piece...

And beyond that, there are many other spells and demon-related things about her she can learn, but right now she isn't interested in other stuff, but for now, maybe she might wanna learn more to keep her and the hotel safe…

Ok so for backstory, some things I have kept the same, but much more simplified for the rewrite:

Born in 1830(meant to reference the beta design death age), Lucifer and Lilith had always wanted a child, but kept producing stillborns for hundreds of years until they used some… mysterious other ways to have Charlie.

It was agreed to only have one child due to Lilith and Lucifer not wanting to put each other through the baby stress they have gone through for like hundreds of years.

But due to having one child, they decided to have her be sheltered from the outside hell world due to wanting to protect her and have their joy be safe and sound.

The only times she was allowed outside of her house were to go to the other rings of hell, and she has barely ever been in the pride ring, and when she was able to go into the pride, she was accompanied by heavy security.

She attended all her education in Envy Ring K-12, met her first serious girlfriend(Helsa) but had a nasty breakup, and had other relationships with boys and girls. Throughout school, afterward, not a lot of relationships.

She stayed at her parents' home after school, but she became curious about the outside world over time.

One day after the New Year(around 2000), she tried to visit Pentagram City, where most of the sinners lived, but got to witness her first extermination. Lucifer found her after she hid near one of his duck factories.

After she finally learned of the extermination, a huge fight ensued, which left a crack in the relationship between her and her parents.

Over the next 20-ish years, she would sneak out to help sinners during exterminations, both of whose parents didnt know about it, and she would use spell books to sneak into Earth to learn about humans and realized they didnt deserve eternal punishment or even extra death.

It wasn't until like 2023 that Lilith left Charlie and her dad for some reason, the relationship between her and her dad was getting more cracks, until 4 years later in 2027, where she found a purple sinner hiding behind the factories where she once hid and tried to take her home to clean her up.

Lucifer found out and a screaming match between the two happened (the purple sinner pretended to be asleep/knocked out)

At the end, Lucifer screamed a horrible remark at Charlie, which made her take the purple sinner to her room, grab two bags of clothes and money, and leave the estate. It was considered Lucifer's greatest mistake.

She had her eye on a hotel that was abandoned for such a long while and thought that's where she and the sinner could stay.

And cut to 3 years later, and Charlie and Aggie the sinner are starting their hotel to rehabilitate sinners!

Ok, that's the reinvented backstory for Charlie. It's a bit quicker to the point, but I hope people enjoy the reinvented profiles much more than the OG ones I made. I won't do a trivia section, but enjoy the outfits and no clothes version(theirs bikini on her for the second image) I made for her.

Last but not the least of the line up is the major villains of season 1, 5/5( For context, Val and Vel are gonna be the major villains of this season while Vox will be major player in season one((will take a bit of a break for season 2 and be MASSIVE for season 3 with Velvette too, Valentino however wont make it pass season 2 however...)

Vox

Meet Vox the overlord of television and the head of VVVCorp; A man who was a member of an old school religious church/businessman who then turned his religion into a work by becoming a Televangelist in his past life of the 1950s, and coincidently died in his own 50's (just 50 to be specific) and ruled the hells technology in quick time might I add. soon after becoming an overlord with the most power of tech he started to recruit some people to start a conglomerate group, of course some people can and pass including a certain Radio host who Vox wants to forget about. In the eighties, he recruited a Moth pimp who had a knack for his own adult/snuff films and would also ask him to make some propaganda films for him soon sought they became partners, a few more decades and the need to become more popular with phones and social media, he soon recruited a popular snappy doll sinner who became an overlord way too quickly, and soon enough VVVcorp and Vox's who enterprise became what it is…until the princess with her rehabilitation dreams start popping up and someone like him doesn't want to lose any more workers. Vox is one VERY charismatic Overlord; he in total has the highest amount of contracted sinners in all of hell(behind him are Carmilla Carmine and Zelestial)

Valentino; A 48-year-old director/pimp who died from eye burn wounds from two of his own victims; now, in hell, he can start his fucked up life all over again by continuing his underground adult and snuff films and making some propaganda films for Vox; and he even has a few brothels for a money-making side piece. Right before he started working with Vox, he took a rising star he found called Angel Dust, and soon after, his film career was booming. Of course, Angel Dust might have had some "issues" with it, but everything is fine.. for now, at least. His personality is very two-faced. On one hand, he can sound very overly sweet and welcoming and also charismatic to others he wants, and when someone has pissed him off… it's something you will regret happening to you.

Velvette: coming in at age 30, is the youngest overlord in the current century Velvette died in London, England, due to a fucked up boyfriend. velvette was one hell of a social media icon back in her human life, and now that she works for VVVCorp, she has a much better time. Like on Earth, she was an influencer, and now she does influencing and social media promotion for the VVVCorp. Still, she also does her own independent stuff, with her own social media pages having over 100 million followers, a hell tube channel to discuss political discussions around hell, and even a modeling side blog to model out fashion designer clothes. She may seem ditsy and dumb to others, but so far, She is a true psychological monster behind the VVVCorp, and people don't see it coming

Part 4/5 of the character lineup males edition.

(Been a while. Sorry, guys, busy with life and such, but hey, one more line up, and I can share some screenshots of my rewritten paragraphs.)

Not much can say about this character, or well, the sketch of him, what it seems to be is that he could be some sort of hellhound or a sinner(sinner most likely not a lot of hellhounds go around wearing 1960's attire) anyway this sketch was something most likely angel dust doodled around with some sticky notes looking at these drawings some sort of look that one would have if they were looking at a photo of a past lover.

(Note: I was originally gonna have this character appear in their full drawing but, I wanna keep some surprises here :3)

Sir pentious:

An inventor who died in the 1880's sir Pentious, when he first got to hell, was a rather meek and shy sinner who did like to tinker (back then, he had no hands and hands to build his current ones) with machines. But that was of the past, and now, into the future, he's so over the top and cheese as he wants to become an overlord! A powerful one no doubt, but he keeps getting into unwinnable battles with other wannabe overlords and even tries to go against Alastor but he mostly fails against them, the only type of company that he has is with his egg bois.

Zelestial.

Zelestial is the OLDEST overlord(not sinner, though) who died around the 13th century due to him betraying the king. Zelestial is also not only the current advisor to Lucifer(he keeps all the other Overlords in check), but he is also the hell history archivist who keeps track of all the current days and events of Hell's past and records special events. For people who wonder how he is able to keep track of all these news and events and keep all the overlords in order, well, besides a certain dancing feathery overlord, he has his spiders all over the pride ring to keep track.

Lastly the first man of Heaven himself and the current army leader of the exorcists himself Adam.

All that Charlie or we know is that a few hindered years ago he became the recent leader of the army due to micheal becoming a little 'soft' on the exorcists, and now he has made the army much stronger and more powerful and more brutal than ever before, and now he's having a meeting with the princess to talk about what happened during the last extermination and new...changes going forward.

(Adam will make his only apperance in the season finale, due to wanting to move the meeting to the six month part so that the first six months can have time and room for the characters and pride ring to be fleshed out before we start the heaven stuff)

Hazbin hotel's third round of characters, this time females; these girlies round from the side, minor characters and minor villains for the s1 remake 3/5

Meet an explosive babe who died in the 80s in the outback; cherri bomb. And just like her name, she is an explosive lady, shes has a wild personality, will always throw bombs at anything authority related, and she has a temper that is as hot as she is; although for such a rebellious young woman she is trying to become an overlord which doesn't seem like something she would be interest and nobody knows why... hm maybe it has to relate with a certain spider fellow she hangs out with.

Meet the hell-born cannibal herself: Rosie. Rosie is quite a rare overlord she is a hell-born rather than a sinner, although people don't know where she came from or how she was able to live as long, but over time, people stopped asking about it. She runs the cannibal district, and she can provide people with all kinds of delicious carnivorous meals as long as they sign away their souls to her. Rosie is a rather sweet and motherly overlord if you can get on her good side, that is, you don't wanna get on her bad side the last person who did... well, let's say those angelic fangs aren't for show.

Meet Helsa Von Eldritch. She is an Ambassador to the Envy ring. She was Charlie's old rival in Hell School and her Ex-girlfriend. She is born from a father of Envy and a Mother of Greed, so she has both qualities of her mother's shark(greed) and her father's fish-like body(envy). Her family has quite the ties to Princess Leviathan and her own father was the past ambassador for envy and knows she is the current one only being in the position for the last 100 years and shes enjoying it she gets to have all the best clothes, cars, tech and a amazing house in all of envy(besides the princess) of course after being an ambassador with so much to do she does kinda miss having free time to herself and maybe a bit jealous of charlies freedom... NAW!!

With her past with said princess, they meet during one of Leviathans glorious gatherings as the young royal meet hells princess staying with her Dads bosses for her education, and after a few years they were dating of course until the accident they broke up and then they were rivals through the rest of hell school and when they broke apart they barley saw each other ever again until they have to attend balls and parties and such which is awkward... but hey Helsa laughed whenever she hears how her ex is doing when she over hears she making some dumb hotel for sinners and such, which is hilarious might wanna pop up to see how bad its doing...

(yeah I completely redid Helsa's character for this, I wanted to make Charlie and her exes instead of her brother mainly cause this cast needs a bit more female centricity but don't worry, Charlie is still BI in this au, she will have a male exe in here)

Meet the Marvelous Fantastic Mimzy!! In her old life, she was a doll with her singing and alcohol mixing. She's a life of a party although she can bring too much of a party if her debts don't come back to bite her. Mimzy was also friends with Alastor in the roaring twenties of course, she died when she cheated with her boyfriend(not in the romantic sense) for his money, and let's say that she had a swim with the fish, although it was really nice of Alastor to kill her ex for her. She also has requests from all to send some guests to the hotel to help with that weird 'hotel' project he's in.

Last but certainly not least is Venus, a raven sinner who died in the last 1600s during the witch trials in Salem; of course, she actually was a witch, but her spells were more than just silly curses they were rather... mind-controlling, she never mind controlled anyone though, but she doesn't understand why she's in hell. Whatever she can get back to her work, she wants to be something bigger, she never got to be something like that in her previous life and as of now she has three idols... those of which are powerful overlords.

(Venus is suprise an oc for the rewrite, yep an oc or two will be added (and theirs gonna be more ocs for the heaven plot of season two just wait, Venus will start of minor in season 1 and grow more into season 2 and have her finale ready in season 3 and season 4... idk well see when we see. Also I might redesign her in the future I'm idk on her design)

OFFICAL CHARACTER LINE FOR THE CAST (2/5)

Nifty is the hotels resident maid, died in the 1950s although she never specified due to if anyone ever asked her she would space out and not talk... which she does quite a lot if anyone asks her anything about her past. Any case shes the quirky buggy maid who is speedy and can clean as quick as light. She is also quite a flirt, if any bad boys were to come to the hotel...lets just say they would never ever getting rid of her.

Ah, husk, an old soul and an old man at that; this older gent is the hotel's barkeep who as forced here begrudgingly due to Alastors demands; he is a grouchy old fart who sits around serving non-alcoholic drinks (He lied to Angel and gives him drinks that just give him a buzz no absolute alcohol), and listens to the others talk. Even if he seems to just be a grumpy old man, he may still have a heart in his dead, furry, tiny soul of his.

Meet Crymini, the youngest soul and the youngest guest at the hotel, she is an aloof and edgy British teenager with a LOT of anger towards a lot of things, Authority, government,Society, herself.... and other things. While not only being the only guest at a hotel who's seemingly taking this redemption thing 'seriously,' there seem to be no other guests besides maybe a few randos who have come by.

And lastly, our final guest of the hotel is BAXTER, a rather introverted scientist who died from a boat crash when he was sailing from Germany to America, who would rather spend his time in the basement of the hotel working on dissecting fish and experiments surgeries on random victims all for the name of science, he also has been half-assing his therapy and redemption exercises, so he could go back to his science.. it makes you think why would he come here in the first place??

Ok, so a small update, I might end up adding "old" to the character bio descriptions I had a loooooong while back, mainly due to wanting to update them, and I wanna give the characters fixed backstories and lore for their new characters, and that a lot of their redesigns have changed too.
