Anyway, I imagine Wet Market In-ho is aware of The Salesman’s attraction to him. He’s probably tried to come onto him a few times. However, In-ho always brushes him off because he’s just not his type. (Also the Salesman will fuck anything that moves so he’s not too heartbroken about In-ho turning his nose up lol)

AU where the island blows up and Jun-ho believes that In-ho and Gi-hun are dead. Months go by, Jun-ho tries his best to move on, but he’s still grieving the loss of his brother and friend.

One day, he passes by the Pink Motel, staring and hurting. However, he notices something.

There’s movement inside.

In one of the windows, he can see the vague, stumbling outline of a person.

Jun-ho goes inside and finds not only his brother, but Gi-hun as well. Both of them are so drunk they can barely keep their eyes open. They don’t even notice Jun-ho, who is holding onto the wall so he doesn’t faint (Even if they do notice him, they just think he’s a hallucination.)

However, once the shock wears off, Jun-ho is absolutely pissed. He thought the both of them were blown apart, but no. They survived and instead of contacting him, they hid in some cheap sex motel and went on a months long bender together.

For now, he just nudges them onto the bed, making sure they’re on their stomachs just in case. They can rest for now, but in the morning, he is going to fucking scream at them.

Honestly, I imagine In-ho not being a monster towards Gi-hun 24/7. There are brief moments where he feels guilty, especially when he thinks of his wife and how she would feel about his actions. However, it’s not enough to make him stop.

I can definitely see this In-ho comforting Gi-hun, both for pleasure and as a manipulation tactic. He wants Gi-hun to be reliant on him for everything, even affection. He wants to break his heart and mend it too.

Besides those two bastards, there are quite a few characters I love. To name a few, No-eul (my girl is so underrated), Yong-sik and Geum-ja (someone is going to have to hold me when they die), Dae-ho (he reminds me of my favorite manager at work), and of course Jun-ho.

Regarding ships, I’m a fan of the rarepair with Jun-ho and the Salesman. I don’t know why I just think it’s funny. On the more basic side, I enjoy Thangyu because I find their dynamic absolutely delightful. Might write about them in the future….

So I have a question completely out of the blue but I have to know - what do Wet Market Inhun do on their spare time in the evenings when Inho comes back to his room and he's not playing some sadistic game with Gihun? Do they talk? Do they just sit in silence and Inho pets Gihun's hair? Do they watch movies like an old married couple? I MUST KNOW!

To answer your question, I imagine all three. I will be showing more of what they do together in future chapters, but when In-ho’s not playing his sick games with his pet, he’s often pretty affectionate. Especially since this Gi-hun is pretty docile compared to his current, canon version.

Honestly, compared to my other stories, Wet Market Gi-hun arguably has it the easiest. Funny and terrifying.
