Just line the inside of the box with that, and if you can shove it behind a dumpster, you'll be even better off due to the lid. Also, Coffee shops like Tim hortons and fast food places like McDonald's have a fenced off area with dumpsters that usually aren't locked, if you have a tarp, or need a place to rest for the night, as long as you don't scare the nightshift crew, they won't bother you.
