Ghost... what is a cryptophyte

One second let me pass the line to my partner:

Cryptophytes are a kind of phytoplankton! They're often teardrop shaped, and can be mixotrophic (eat other things AND photosynthesize). I'm working on an edutainment project for teaching people about harmful algal blooms, and this was one of the characters I made for it!!

I had to have her tell you bc each time I ask her, she just smirks and goes "You'll find out after you play the game~" lmao

i don't think he'd refer to them as "friends", but iyeremiya has other people he talks to on occasion, yes! also, meyson considers iyer a friend, even if he doesn't like them. i like to think that the boss of the cafe also has a soft spot for him. other than those two, as far as "canon" characters go, i think he'd have a handful of acquaintances. he's not the kind of person to let people get close, and people tend not to bother trying since he's so standoffish </3
