Wanna help some nerds out?

So, like, Doug and Em are some of my best friends I've ever had and they've unfortunately fallen on really hard times. They try really reeeeally hard to not ask for help but they've reached the end of their ropes.

These two have had to deal with so much for so long and yet still do their best to try and have fun hosting our weekly Dungeons and Dragons games and movie nights. They were going to have their vow renewal service this year, but due to everything that has happened, they've had to put that off until further notice... I've donated some privately (before this fund was made) and will do so again once I'm able to.

I'll be putting together emergency commissions info over this weekend, & any/all money made from those comm's will go towards their fund. I'll reply with the info below once I have it ready. Until then, please consider helping them out and/or sharing this.

‼️EMERGENCY FUNDS: I need Help With Medical Bills And Equipment ‼️

Howdy Y'all, please share my story with me at least a little, I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I was diagnosed in February 2019 after being very sick and I weighed 88 lbs. For the last two and a half years I have had to inject insulin 4+ times for day every day, to stay within my blood glucose level.

In December 2020 I was hospitalized and had to have emergency surgery where I had to stay at home for the entire period of my illness without working, and I also had DKA aka Diabetic ketoacidosis is a serious complication of diabetes that occurs when your body produces high levels of blood acids called ketones.

Diabetic ketoacidosis develops when your body cannot produce enough insulin. Insulin normally plays an important role in helping sugar (glucose), the main source of energy for your muscles and other tissues, enter your cells. Without enough insulin, your body begins to break down fat as an alternative fuel. This process produces a buildup of toxic acids in the bloodstream called ketones, eventually leading to diabetic ketoacidosis if left untreated.

Three months later in March 2021 I finally got to see an endocrinologist, who specializes in Type 1 Diabetes. Who told me that an insulin pump would be a good device for me?

I was recently approved for an insulin pump that will help me better control my diabetes. Although I am happy that I am approved the hardest part is coming up with the funds to pay for the pump and equipment.

Hi! We're a trans, queer, disabled, plural system living with DID, ME/CFS, and chronic pain, and we're currently in dire need of funds to leave a deeply painful and triggering situation that we're in.

Long story short, we're currently processing 5 years worth of relationship trauma along with a difficult breakup, which has put us in a position where we desperate need to escape from the house that we're living in and move to somewhere safer for us to be. We're still living with our partner who caused all this harm due to our disabilities and struggles to get a job, and we've been given a deadline of the end of the year to move out before we'll be forced to move in with family- another extremely triggering situation for us, and a home that has contributed to worsening our disabilities in the past.

Help me, my partner, and my cat escape a toxic situation… if you can of course

My partner and I are both 22, living in Toronto, and trying really hard to move out of our toxic family situations. It’s been emotionally draining for both of us, and we’re just ready to start fresh somewhere safe and peaceful, just the two of us (and my cat ).

We both have entry level corporate jobs (yay adulthood?), but with rent prices, my school tuition, and just trying to survive, it’s not enough to get out right now. I’m working on getting my Smart Serve so I can pick up bartending/serving shifts, and I’m also trying to do pet sitting on the side for extra income.

One of the hardest parts of all this is my cat… she’s sick, and my parents literally don’t believe in taking her to the vet. I love her so much and I need to bring her with me, but I can’t get her the care she needs while I’m stuck here. So I’m swallowing my pride and asking for help lol.

-First & last month’s rent + basic moving costs

-Vet bills + medication for my cat

-School tuition so I don’t have to drop out

Please help my new best friend, Catherine.

Alright guys, I need your help to help Catherine, a kitten I rescued. This past Thursday, I was lucky enough to meet a stray kitten near my apartment who followed me home. I'm not a cat person by any means but I found myself drawn to her and decided to keep her around. After ensuring she wasn't anyone else's cat, I decided to keep her and make sure she didn't live outside struggling anymore. I went to the vet this morning and got her chipped, vaccinated, tested, etc and was footed a bill of about $1100. I want to keep Catherine but I need your help desperately. This kitten is maybe the best thing that's happened to me in a while.
