It's retaliation at this point. Fans abused the shit out of other fans who were just more critical of the show and APPARENTLY had a founded concern for the direction the show was heading, which turned into a lynch mob against critics which has resulted in the same mud they threw first being thrown back.

Retaliatory abuse isn't on the same level as the initial abuse. First off. Second, the whole point is to kill the show. I need you to feel so bad about liking the show that you stop buying merch, you stop sharing tweets, you stop talking about it with your friends because you don't want to be judged. I genuinely don't care if you still watch or like the show. I want you to feel so ashamed for it that you stop supporting it in any meaningful way.

I want it to burn and be shameful because that's what the show deserves and if you insist on hanging on, that's your choice. Do it silently and in secret.

Like that fucking pill head foreshadowed that Rose was Pink Diamond when he told Steven how to care for his gem and then Steven eventually learned a massive skill that was repeatedly instrumental in the plot from that point forward.
