I think a bunch of us have already posted/fawned over how smooth/nice Stolas' laugh was in this moment (jfc Bryce Pinkham your VA work never misses). And how significant it is that Blitzø can get a laugh out of him even when he's having literally one of the worst days of his life and feeling serious grief.

But I've been mulling over how good that laugh must've felt to Blitzø.

IIRC, he hasn't made Stolas laugh since Seeing Stars. It's been at least 4-5 months, probably more like 6+.

And of course we know that, when Blitzø was in denial about Stolas' feelings, one of the things that hurt the most was the thought that Stolas laughing at his jokes was fake. We know he has lifelong insecurities about how his humor is perceived, stemming from Fizz always being more liked and charismatic.

This is the first time Blitzø has made Stolas laugh, not since the not-a-breakup, but since very, very soon after Ozzie's.

It's the first time he's made Stolas laugh knowing it was real and letting himself feel that it was real.

Even if Stolas is feeling like shit and the happiness is just for a moment, it's there and it's genuine. The real, walls-down Blitzø is who he's connecting with. Blitzø knows he can and does make Stolas happier just by being himself.

And oh lordy does it make him so relieved and happy, too.

Look at that face. Man down! He's smitten all over again. His heart's going to vacate his chest and ascend straight out of Hell.

There's been discussion on how/why Blitzø fell for Stolas, and here we're seeing evidence. He fell for the tall, pretty bird who has a really nice laugh, who exchanges banter easily with him, who goes along with his offbeat ideas like dancing on the balcony, who understands that being compared to a tall-tall horse is a compliment... the one who thinks he's funny even when no one else in Hell does. Blitzø would fight 1,000 Andrealphuses and all of Hell for that laugh.

Okay, before we launch into Sinsmas discourse, we're all going to remember that Via is 17, right? A 17-year-old, very sheltered girl, raised in a very toxic environment who doesn't understand mental illness or the complexity of Stolas' situation because she is a very sheltered 17-year-old girl raised in a very toxic environment, yeah? We're going to keep that in mind when we talk about her reaction to the pills, right? We're going to keep that in mind when we talk about her reaction to the trial, right? We aren't going to vilify yet another teenage girl for not reacting in a supportive, positive, and understanding way to a decision that rocked her entire world? Right? Right, guys? Okay, just checking.

so it seems to me that each of the ars goetia is connected to a certain element.

andrealphus is obviously ice.

vassago seems to be light, i think. it seems like that giant star he walked on during the trial was made of light (and it kept bleeding sparkles).

stolas is very possibly earth/stone, since he can turn others to stone and during the trial he walked on stone platforms (it seems like he levitated stone fragments and then put them together to be able to walk on).

what about octavia?

I don't know what is more precious, that moxxie made cookies based on blitzø's scribbles of them as horses, or that he made one to include stolas because he's family too.

Some of you all are completely misunderstanding the second half, I am not downplaying the love Stolas has for Octavia, I am not saying that at all, what I am saying, is that Octavia is 100% going to think she was a 'obligation' when she finds out she was born to be a 'precautionary addition to the Goetia family'.

She was sitting by the phone WAITING. She knew that Stolas was going to call. She was waiting for him, even changed Blitz’ contact so she knew when he reached out. Look at the smile on her face, how excited she is that he finally called.
